This is EXACTLY what I was looking for, I have an old Wisconsin Robin 8hp engine my son & rebuilt and it's running rough at high RPM so we want to adjust timing - tried a timing light, NG - I'm sure this will help us out!
Excellent site. Highly recommend Skygeek.com. Purchased several balsa wood gliders just like I used to play with 60 years ago but these were for the grandchildren...ok for grandpa too.
PayPal checkout is always easy. Choosing shipping was kind of flakey as DHL International Express seemed to be dropping in and out of the radio button field. Probably a service problem...
This was my second purchase from Skygeek. Everything went smoothly delivered ontime and in excellent condition. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends.
I thought the "Big Box" aviation supply company would be cheaper, but when I totaled prices with shipping, I saved over 10% by buying from Sky Geek. Very happy. Glenn B. Arizona
Skygeek has been a very reliable source for our aviation related needs. Customer friendly website and efficient customer support are great combination.
Maybe a credit card would have been easier than Paypal, but the way to pay with Paypal wasn't clear, automatic, or fast. Never had thai much trouble using Paypal before.
Unable to talk to someone, all done online or through e-mail.
The material certs did not have everything on it I needed, but
Don't know what I can do about it, no contact via phone available.
Have used the device in a SAAB Safir (SB91) plane connecting my BOSE A20 ANR headset. Communication functions very good - both send and receive in a quite noisy cosckpit! Have not used it much so far, so don't know about battery lifetime though. As such it would have been good if the device had been fitted with a power switch to save battery between flights. Instead you can disconnect the battery leads which is a bit cumbersome. Would by it again!
The CO monitors have a shelf life of three years. Tho monitors have a date of expiration of
SEPTEMBER 1,2016. That is instead of receiving fresh devices 16 month shelf life is left in the monitors I received and not 36!
For the third time now I have been disappointed with how you describe your "in stock" status. I ordered an elt battery because it said 4 were in stock at the NY warehouse. Then upon receiving my confirmation, it said that they were on back order. Because I felt dumb last time when I had this problem, this time I decided to take a screenshot AFTER the order confirmation email that said there were 4 in stock. Then I called to clarify why the order confirmation email said they were back ordered. The person said that her screen showed they were back ordered...then, of course, I checked the site again and it said they were back ordered. Now understand this all took place within a 3 to 5 minute window of time. I am extremely dissatisfied and was forced to purchase elsewhere. Before you respond and tell me that I didn't clear my browser memory etc... just know that I'm pretty savvy and not an idiot. I consider this tactic a bait and switch and think its a shame that your organization chooses to do business this way.
Always the very best service and prices at Sky Geek, and always can find the difficult items that no one else has in stock! Cant go wrong here! Thanks.
You were the only place we found for the helicopter headphone adapter, so even though a bit more expensive than I might wish, I would come to you again.
Prices are high, no option for base order being big enough to include shipping. Purchase from Skygeek is a last resort for items that are not available elsewhere.
My experience with SkyGeek was 99% first rate; there was one surprise.
I ordered a 14 oz cartridge of AeroShell 6 grease. The illustration showed, and I expected, standard AeroShell packaging, label, and logo. I received a plain white cartridge of grease with stickers indicating it is AeroShell 6, together with a generic Certificate of Conformance for "the products on this document" from Styles Logistics, Inc. My guess is that it was filled from a drum of AeroShell 6 at Styles Logistics.
On the plus side, A/S 6 was and is out of stock at other suppliers, the earliest delivery promised anywhere else was a month out.
Very easy. The shipping time was a bit confusing. I didn't realize it would take so long until after I made the order. I did receive my order just fine and it is exactly what we needed.
Transaction was fast and easy. The web site was a little awkward when trying to find mating parts- i.e. Different plunger and cylinder combos but after a while you get used to it
Ordering was easy, but there seemed/seems to be a computer glitch when I clicked on the green "place order" button the first two times. Maybe it was just a problem on my end.
The only confusing thing is the shipping as some are available to ship faster than others, so if I ship Ground - when will they arrive? Might help to put up an FAQ!
Site is good (not as awesome as, say, Newark, but simple and easy to get around). Your prices--esp. For the items that i bought--were out-of-this-world good. Thx
