The most recent pair of skullcandy headphones I purchased broke after less than 2 months.
The company asked me to mail back the headphones and then refused to replace them. They offered a coupon for their online store but it charges for shipping and has very, very limited selection. It would have been considerably cheaper to throw the headphones in the garbage and buy something at a store than to ship back the headphones and use the online store. I will never buy anything from this company again.
I first learned about Skullcandy years ago through a Groupon for some earbuds. I've gone back for other purchases. Great quality and style on their headphones - without the Beats price. I'd definitely recommend.
I contacted customer service as I found my newly purchased wireless crushers way too tight on my head. It started out okay, they agreed to take them and I decided to pay the difference to upgrade to the ANCs which are a looser fit. That's when the trouble started. I paid the difference and then got a tracking number. Problem was the tracking just said a shipping label was created. Days went by and nothing changed. I called multiple times and was told that's strange but we will send it out again you'll get an email. Nothing. Called again, same thing. Completely ridiculous. Apparently they are sending me out something but I'm ready to just dispute the transaction on my VISA and I guess take the loss on my wireless Crushers I sent back. Worst customer service, it's not that they are rude just don't do as they say. I wasted so much time. Their system is broken.
Skullcandy products are sold through retailers, specialty outlets, and their online store. I have bought that on one month ago. It is very efficient and convenient for me. The audio and calls are very clear to hear. It is made up on the modern technology for the customer wants. It have change you lifestyle. It is more useful phone for my life. I am suggest to all my friends to purchase that immediately.
I am not an audio expert but I think these earphones are great. I have a one hour commute of the train and these headphones give me great sound. For my ears they have great range and I enjoy listening to them to and from work. They also fold up and are real easy to carry in my work bag.
The headphone and other mobile accessories from the skullcandy is good. One year before I brought one head phone from their site. Still it have no problem
Better quality earphones as compare to all the other products I have used before. Awesome quality sound with deep bass.
At this price, I would go for something else which is more comfortable than these. Also not really durable.
I purchased the Indy Evo earbuds from Skull Candy that only lasted 5 months. They would not connect to the battery back to charge and therefore would inconsistently pair with my phone and always die. I returned for warranty and used a store credit to try the Pit Viper Push Active. They broke after a month. They would always connect to my phone when in the charging case. One earbud ended up breaking from sweat contact. I do not recommend this brand at all. They do not last long and are not worth the money.
I purchased headphones from Skullcandy in 2011. I pulled them out to use today (stored in their Skullcandy bag in temperature controlled home) and found that the rubbery-plastic part of the headphones were mysteriously sticky. I went to Skullcandy's website where I discovered that my headphones were no longer under warranty. To me, a lifetime warranty is for my lifetime and I'm not dead yet. I am extremely disappointed with the company after enjoying their product because of the bald faced lie about their warranty.
I bought the 40.00$ set of wireless skull candy ear buds for work, one side stopped working after a couple uses. Once side would charge up to 100% but the other side only charged half the time and barely worked at all, I fought with these head phones for two months of owning them until this morning when I threw them out the window of my truck on the way to work. I will never buy another skull candy product.
The right hand side earphone stops going even after a few months! This brand and JBL all do it no matter how much you spend on them, crap and $#*! made in either thailand or $#*!ing china spend ur money elsewhere
I have purchased e Skullcandy Ink'd Wireless in-Earphone with Mic... Almost 6 month leter one side head phone is not working... I will contact service center... and send it for service... after 1 month leter service center send me a empty courier box... unthinkable
Here's the jist of this company. For what it's worth I will say that I've probably bought at least 6 pair's of Ink'd from them & other models over a 2 year period. The bass & yes this is the main reason people buy this, & the fact that it can compete with other big brands for a measly $30 price tag. Seems legit right?
I forgot to mention the part that they are so easy to break & it's almost guaranteed that the left & right bud will stop working completely after yes a few months. Your lucky if they last a year. The build quality is just so cheap. I mean c'mon? The samsung buds I got with my C9 Pro smartphone are going on 3 years now with no issue's, & those are just entry level.
If your 1 of those individuals that think it's better to buy cheap & replace, your better off purchasing something premium or high-end that will last you light year's to come. It's cheaper in the long run blieve me.
I purchased a headset for my son. He choose the aviator and really loves the product! Plus after he had them for a month of so, our cat bit the connecting wiring, making the headset unuseable. Fortunately it is detachable and we were able to order a replacement part for $10.00 plus min. Amount for shipping, which made us VERY HAPPY!. We would highly recommend both the quality of the product we purchased and the customer service, when we had our issue! Sharon A.
The website does not have a customer service number for the uk and there are numbers which never work or dont exist, ones you purchase something on the receipt there wont be a contact number and when you send a email to them regarding something they never reply
Do not buy these if you have an iPhone… or be ready to commit several hours and a large group of peoples time to pair them. These are not plug and play and definitely NOT user friendly.
Bought a 8k headphones, cushion damaged within a year inspite keeping good care. No readdressal, they said we cant help sorry thats it. Again ordered earbuds, received damaged product, asked for return, said we dont have pick up in your location, you will have to send it yourself and the cost will not be reimbursed. Really shocked, biggest mistake of my life. Please do not order from skullcandy.
I've bought several pairs of SkullCandy Jibs in the past, as well as a pair of Sesh and Dime wireless earbuds. Not a single one of them has lasted more than a couple of months.
I've always used skullcandy earbuds, so each time I've hoped that they would be better. But without fail, either the earbuds themselves or the charging case begin to malfunction. All of my pairs have extreme difficulty charging, and this last pair didn't even last a month before it started acting up. The only upside about the Jibs is their absurd battery life, but that doesn't help if they refuse to charge inside of their case.
The earphone and other cellular components from the skullcandy is good. The sound and phone calls are very clear to listen to. It is made up on the today's technological innovation for the client wants. For my hearing they have great variety and I appreciate paying attention to them to and from work.
Answer: They seem to be a scam to me, want more money. They don't back there products and legitimately scammed me for 66 dollars.
