Skip the dishes does not offer any deals that restaurants offer. If the teen burger is on sale they still charge full price. I approached them about this and the blamed the restaurant. I called the restaurant and the sale price is for everyone. So you get scammed and then lied to by skip the dishes. Poorest business practices ever. Don't use this dishonest service

If you like having to get in your car and go LOOK for SKIP drivers who are lost (just so you can get your freaking food!), if you love trying to speak English to drivers who don't seem to speak ANY language on Earth, then by all means, call SKIP----Because they only exist to viciously Syphon your Time AND your human Life Force from every cell in your BODY. Their motto should be, "You Order Food---We Take Your Life & Your Soul"
If you like paying full price for ice cold food, and debating at your door step using broken English and hand gestures then giving up only to succumb to holding 1/3 cold chicken strips against your drivers hand because he has no idea what your saying, and then fighting with customer service for an hour then you should definitely utilize this service. You will not be let down with being let down! They are amazingly consistent at delivering your food cold, every time! Skip sucks the big one
Skip this delivery service. They take your food on a merry go round tour before it lands on your door. I always give the highest amount tip percentage to hopefully ensure a prompt and warm meal but this seems to encourage not a warm delivery of my food but a speedy pickup as they want that tip but not to deliver the food in a timely fashion. So for the third and last time my meal that I have ordered with their service has arrived cold. See you later SkipTheDishes I will use Uber eats or DoorDash from now on. They have better customer service.
If I could give it a 0 I would. Worthless workers on this app. If you can't handle a simple job like skip the dishes, responding on chat and delivering food which I'm sure any double digit IQ person can. Then find a new job, worthless maggots
Regrettably, I tried skip the dishes app to have food delivered. Ordered a meal from Mr. Greek for 90$ and the driver left me 2 salads that's it. They won't refund my money. I will never ever order from this app again.
Skip has the rudest ppl ever. I work in a restaurant and they come in before they are supposed to and get mad because their order not ready. We can not get order until the receipts prints to know what we are getting it has to print for order to go into kitchen to make food and they are supposed to give us 5 minutes after order prints to get it ready. All they care about is a fast buck in their pocket. Oh and another thing I hate they get mad when they have to wait for food sometimes ppl order special orders and they take longer, or if a customer orders something we out of and trying to get a Hold of them to see if they want something else instead skip drives will stand there and yell at you. They are so rude... Uber and door dash are more polite have manners some are bad too because they work for all 3 companies. Overall skip is the worst delivery service out there.

SkipTheDishes are a big thieves, aren't honest at all. They accept to don't refund money. I don't received my two first deposits yet a 112.07$. What the $#*! company. Not a company it's a thieves. Where's the government?

3 days ago, I ordered from my local Gahan House restaurant using the Skip the Dishes app. The order didn't arrive yet I was asked to rate the courier? I used the app's customer service chat option to see if they could find my order. I was asked to wait 24 hours and to reach out again if my fish 'n chips and blueberry beer hadn't arrived! What a joke.
I reached out again the next day and was told that the courier wasn't on shift then so they didn't have any updates for me lol. I emailed *******@skipthedishes.ca as it was suggested in the 4th chat attempt. It's been 28hrs since I sent the email, no reply.
They took $48.15 from my account and didn't fulfill the order to any degree. I believe this is fraud.
I'm so disappointed at their lack of customer service on every aspect of the company.
I would NEVER suggest ordering from Skip the Dishes to ANYONE. They're scammers!

Ordered food, noticed after i ordered the food the phone number was wrong. Tried to call them, NO LUCK. TRied there app to contact them. It said it could take 24 hours to get back.
I never got the food. When I finally got a hand on them on the phone, the just said TO BAD, You just lost your money.
What kind of service do they offer?
I ordered 6 original bueno chocolate bars... the picture showed the chocolate ones and I have ordered them before many times. Well when I got them, 5 of them were the white kinds which I've never seen before... clearly not what I ordered! I took a picture and sent it to the skip agent, well skip denied helping me in any way... I didn't get a refund or the correct order... I payed for something that I did not want or asked for! I guess they can just throw whatever they want into your bag and you just have to accept whatever the heck you get... the agent kept pasting the same message to me saying they cannot refund me when I was asking to escalate this matter or speak to a manager... then the agent pasted that same message again for the 5th time (they must be robots) and hen that agent went offline. That was my "help". Pathetic!
I placed a $130 order last week and it said it would arrive in 20 mins. 1.5 hours later, a driver shows up with a small pizza and a pop from a completely different restaurant. We tried waving him down to let him know this was the wrong order but he gunned it out of my driveway.
I was actually on chat with Skip minutes before he arrived because it was so late and they said they were short on drivers that night but that he was almost at my house. I was watching the car on the map in their app and he was all over the place. Looks like he was picking up multiple orders.
I contacted Skip again and they said the driver delivered my order. I explained what we got and they said they wouldn't refund me because he delivered my order. They then said that I should have updated my phone number on file and my delivery instructions. Not sure what that has to do with having the wrong order left at my door. I do have VERY specific instructions to find our house. This guy found our house, he just didn't deliver the right order. I took pictures of what he did leave me and they then decided to refund me. $130 for a small pizza and pop? I'm sure the person that got my order was happy with the mistake.
Then a few days later, they charged my card a random amount of $6.94. I messaged them about it and they assure me they didn't. I have to wait for the charge to post and Capital One is going to reverse it.
What a nightmare. I will never use this service again.

I started using Skip (Canada) because there are 3 adults in my family and we are all chronicle I'll and have chronic pain so we have trouble cooking. All 3 of us have Skip accounts and have encountered the same problem with horrible mistakes in the orders and bad food. Mostly the complaint has been ice cold food. You can't warm up fries... Customer service has been very trying because most agents don't seem to master the language and or have low IQ. This sounds crude but that is our experience. After you spend hours chatting with customer service you might get something refunded however after a couple of times your account gets blocked and no one even answers your questions in chat or email.
I wish I could leave a zero. The chat designed to help you out is absolute dog ****. I tried to place orders on 3 different occasions this year all gave me an error message stating my card couldn't be used. I have been using this same card for over a year. Talked to TWO different helpers on two different occasions. Both told me to restart my app... lol. This was in February. Fast forward to end of April here today I see my card charged TWICE by skip the dishes. I contact them via the portal chat and the helper told me to contact my bank. FOR WHAT? You guys are taking money out my account. Coincidentally it is for the same amounts that I tried back in January. Really? Get your **** together. ABSOLUTE TRASH. I would give a zero if I could believe me.
Placed an order one Sunday afternoon and the order that was delivered was the completely wrong order. It had about 6 meals and I ordered 1. The delivery guy spent 10 minutes sitting in the driveway on the phone before bringing up the order and was very rude when I told him it was messed up and I wouldn't accept order. He then sat in the driveway for another 15 minutes, took the food and left. When I contacted support later I found out that he marked the order delivered. Nice lunch for that guy, I guess.
When Skip or the restaurant mess up your order the driver has nothing to do with anything, you have to attempt to get ahold of support to get credits for what was wrong with your meal if they deem it worthy of credit.
I Contacted support and managed to credits and I still had to re order and wait all over again for it to be delivered by another driver.
When that order arrived it was still wrong, the sauce for both my burger and fries was missing. So essentially ruining my whole lunch. Now 2 hours later I contacted support again and said I wanted my money back not credits. They wouldn't refund anything but the $0.50 for the sauce, despite the fact that sauce isn't eaten alone. I mean that's like being shorted the burger bun and being offered $1.00 for the bun itself. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told one would call soon.
The next day I contacted chat again regarding no call from supervisor and I was told it would be 24-48 hours for a call from a supervisor, which was not what I had been told but I figured that meant I'd receive a call the next day.
Two days later I still didn't receive a call so I contacted chat support again and was told it had been busy and the supervisors were a bit backlogged.
I then decided to send an email incase the message was not being relayed by the chat agents. Again I heard nothing back.
Every couple days I have messaged support on chat. I keep being told this has been escalated. By the 5th time the agent actually asked for my phone number (first time after all the so-called reports and escalations.), I was convinced this would be the time, but no.
So we are now just short of 2 weeks waiting. It's clear that customer service is not a priority at Skip and they don't care about regular customers. Ordering lunch shouldn't be a game of chance and at the very least someone has to take responsibility for the problem. The resturant has removed the option to comment or complain about orders from Skip in the past couple weeks, (I generally leave good reviews after my meal.)
I can bet that I will never hear from them but I will continue to try to speak to the supervisor on principle. I definitely will no longer be using the service, things have gone down hill from when they started, perhaps that is why you can no longer look up a phone number to reach them and the agents won't give you one.
Worst customer service ever. I had an order that would have taken up to 66 minutes to get to me. I had to catch a plane so I went on support chat saying that that would be too long of a wait for me please cancel. The support said sure I can cancel the order. I went off the chat to have a shower when I came back on chat I asked if it was done. There was a new person that responded saying how can I help you I said I need the order to be cancelled and she said at this time we can't because it's already being made. I told her that I let someone know as soon as I place the order that I couldnt wait that long. She basically said it was out of her hands and she can send the food of cancel the order with no refund. I told her how ridiculous this all is and a refund is what I should get. She told me it was basically impossible. So I got my food and had to throw it out before I got on my plane. I told them I wanted to speak to a manager and gave her my email. She confirmed my email. I then got no email so I had to call skip the dishes and talk to a customer service agent who was rude and said because I got the food and she was unable to refund me. I told her that the other customer service rep that I talk to said I couldn't get a refund so why would I have just paid for the food and not got any of it. I told her that this wasn't my fault this isnt the restaurant fault this is skip. I think skip a million dollar company should be more concern about keeping customer then a $30.00 skip order to refund. I told her I want her manager to contact me because I didn't receive an email in the first place she informed me that she sent it to an email that was invalid and not even the one I gave to the rep to contact me with. All in all I used to be a loyal customer but I deleted the ap today and don't plan on using skip again. No accountability and they just wanted to blame everything on the customer.
I am disabled and often too ill to cook. I live with my son who has a sever injury so we order from Skip. I can't begin to tell you how much aggravation we have experienced with this company from rude couriers, couriers who couldn't find our address, couriers who didn't use their food bag, couriers who didn't have change for our money, delayed orders, cancelled orders, wrong orders, missing items, DISGUSTING FOOD, COLD FOOD and food that was mishandled. I also have had that I was double charged and had to FIGHT to get my money back. In short, I spent countless hours chatting and on the phone with customer service and with supervisors over the years that I was a customer with SkipTheDishes. When you depend on others to bring you food and you pay extra to get it you expect to receive something EDIBLE and reasonable. More than often I didn't receive that. I am NOT a difficult person and eat almost everything. I was stumped, disgusted, furious and felt betrayed when all of a sudden my SkipTheDishes app didn't seem to work anymore. I called in and found out that my account was closed. They said that it was because they didn't seem to be able to serve me or something... The "funny" thing was that I had had several successful deliveries and had not had a reason to "complain" for a couple of weeks before hand...
Fantastic! Great kebobs and great hospitality. Flavorful food. Good for the palate and wallet and authentic taste. Will definitely come back
