I've spent half-an-hour trying to fix redirections in the cPanel and it didn't work.
Then, I gave up and contacted SG. Konstantin was my support person.
In no time, the problem was solved and more. He fixed. Htaccess which I wouldn't touch ever in fear to mess up the website, and he deleted the unnecessary redirections.

Had a permissions issue and could not upload images to my Wordpress site. Used the chat support and it was fixed in about 15 minutes. No charges were incurred.
As an agency we use Siteground's hosting services.

Ive spoken to many sales reps and most are either incompetent, too focused on squeezing every penny out of customers or rude - non of which helps with long term business - Aleksader Ts was the opposite and if I ever need to buy anything else, Ill be asking for him because I trust him and appreciate his manners and competence - top guy
He helped me get my IP address issue resolved quickly and couldn't have been more helpful. I was totally lost without him. It is people like him that make me happy I switched to you guys from godaddy
Update Nov. 14th:
To make it even more frustrating, they renewed my plan 15 days early! I didn't even have a chance to move my site to a different host before they charged me $350! After finally finding the contact form & emailing them (the only option you have before they even offer chat) I chatted with the customer service, and they were great about refunding me for the renewal. But of course now I have to wait 7-10 days for the refund to hit my bank. So I'm still out $350 that I wasn't expecting to spend! So if you go with them, make sure you select "No automatic renewal", or head's up! They'll hit you with it way before your plan expires!

I really haven't used their customer service much, and that alone makes the renewal price outrageous. The new sign up account is an okay price, but then to go from $80 to $350 after you get your site established, is nuts! Other services have just as good of track records for uptime and freebies... Without an insane renewal cost.
I'm certainly not signing on again. Which unfortunately means I have to start over and create a new site with a different host. But it won't be 350 BUCKS!
Not much to write, really, except that for me Siteground support has always been fantastic. Every support person is knowledgeable, friendly, polite and effective. I couldn't ask for more!

Hey there, on august, 29th 2023 I tried to get the Premium CDN service of SG. As always I use to do, I've inserted my credit card data on the SG system. However, SG made a test transaction of R$ 17,51 (R$ is the Brazilian Real) BUT THE SYSTEM ASKED ME ABOUT THE VALUE IN USD! I've tried until the system print me a DISTURBING message saying the I'd be blocked on the next day! O.M.G.!
I almost got a heart attack. So the kind attendant Ervin (SG support staff) gave me help and we could to fix the mess that SG system made.
So, If you are purchasing some service from SG, be sure to tell them the test transaction value in USD (United States Dollar) unless they could block ALL YOUR SITE! Beware forks!
SG, I've been a loyal and happy user but you have to fix this kind of fail!

To clarify, all our hosting plans are set to automatically renew 15 days prior the expiration date for avoiding any service interruption. The renewal is at our regular price listed on our sales pages and the new term is added to the expiration date of the account This is the expected behavior of the system on our end. We send 3 email reminders for the upcoming renewal in advance, to ensure our customers are taking an informed decision on whether they would like to extend their subscription with us. We can only presume that these email reminders have been caught in a spam filter, since you were surprised by the renewal price.
We can confirm that the renewal has been cancelled and that the refund had already been posted from our end.
