Purchased a pair of running shoes, great price, within minutes of making the order I second guessed the size and wanted to go up a half size. Called customer service and was told it was too late order was being processed, it had been literally 10 minutes, told me if they don't fit, I could exchange shoes free if I wanted an even exchange. Ok shoes arrived too small called and was told they could not exchange shoes, they said I had Send shoes back and they would fully refund my money No restocking fee and I would have to do a new order for the larger size. So I made a new order, got a email with return label ups, email stated $6.95 restocking fee would be taken out of my refund. Customer service said I would not be charged since they could not process an exchange. When I questioned there policy service rep had an attitude. I am sure I am getting burned on this one. $37.00 lesson. Never again

Had ordered several pair of shoes from this company over the years. Didn't have a problem until I went to return a pair of Rockport Sandals. The heel was too high and they were painful. Returned them immediately only to be told that they had been "worn". NO I tried them on for maybe 5 minutes to see if I could handle the heel. They tell me the shoes are shipped directly from Rockport so they have no idea the condition of the shoes that were sent. After doing a bit of research I see that this is a common problem. Nothing like being called a liar and having to pay for an expensive pair of shoes that I can't wear.

I paid 25$ for international shipping bu the acctual cost was 70$.
The extra 45$ are known only when the product arrives and customer support do not agree to refund and standing behind the non transparent terms and conditions.

I bought a pair of shoes from shoes.com. In the box there was a "full 45-day limited comfort warranty" which explained that you could return the shoes for any reason within 45 days. I wore the shoes one time and found they hurt my feet. Customer service refused to even listen to my claim. They just kept repeating that their policy is that they do not take shoes back that have been worn. I will repeat, this warranty was IN THE BOX! If they even gave me any kind of explanation, I would not have been happy but probably pacified. I will NEVER buy from them again. They do not support their product.

Rip-Off site

Shoes.com now owned by the Walton family (why are we not surprised) is a rip-off site selling low quality shoes. Their business mode is drop shipping from the original manufacturer. It is impossible to cancel an order, once placed, even though the item has not yet shipped and in fact will probably not be received for a week or more. What's more they charge a $6.95 per item restocking charge -- not per order, per item. I ordered 6 pairs of shoes from them not knowing this. None of these fit so I will be charged $42 return them -- a total rip-off. I will never order from Shoes.com again and recommend you don't either.

Shoes were NOT WORN. Purchased a half size down in the same shoe and returned the ones that did not fit. Company sent the shoes back to me a second time with a note they would not accept them because they were worn. INSANE. Do not buy from this company.

I read a bunch of bad reviews AFTER I made my purchase with shoes.com and it made me nervous but apparently they recognize that they've had a problem in the customer service dept and they're trying to make some changes because my experience was 100% perfect. I ordered some baby stripper heels lol and I wanted them to get here but the holiday that was then 4 days away. Mind you the heels said ships same day if ordered by 4pm eastern, I ordered at 3:53pm and I also paid 10$ for 2 day shipping. So I called the following day cuz I was nervous and the lady wasn't very reassuring but they did end up shipping them the following day that's the only thing that made me afraid cuz it wasn't "same day" but I mean come on it was 7 mins to four. And they came in exactly two days! So I had my shoes on time right color right size and get this they refunded me the 10$ I paid for two day shipping I'm guessing because they didn't ship it same day but the next day! Because it definitely only took two days after it was marked shipped! That's what prompted me to write a review because my credit card just notified me of the 10$ credit From shoes.com. I am very happy with them if you're a first time buyer give them a chance despite the negativity. They definitely exceeded my expectations and my heels are beautiful, high quality with memory foam on the sole Tass

I ordered a pair of shoes after my wife had used this website with good results. The shoes arrived in a few days, but sadly, they did not fit well, so I requested a return label, only to find out there is a $6.95 restocking fee. This place is owned by Walmart (which if I had known, I wouldn't have ordered because I don't shop there ever). Surely, at a time when it's not safe to go shopping, Walmart can afford the $6.95. Won't make this mistake again. I'll stick with Zappos.

I had a very expensive pair of sandals given to me in the winter for Christmas. I live in a snowy climate so I obviously had to wait until May to use them. Well in less then two months the sandals were coming apart even though I did not damage them or use them for any hard work. I was also careful to not get them wet. I contact shoes.com and asked if they had any recommendations for what I could do to fix this damage on my shoe (it was coming apart completely from the base). They could not have cared less and said it was longer then 60 days since the order was placed. I asked them how I would have worn these sandals in the winter and again asked what they can recommend I do To fix this. Still waiting for a reply. I would highly discourage anyone from buying on their site, the service reps do not care and have no interest in assisting. Terrible website!

Absolutely Horrible experience with shoes.com. I paid extra for 3 day shipping as I needed the shoes and they assured me that I would have my shoes in time. The shoes did not ship for 4 days and then took 8 days to be delivered. A total of 12 days after I paid for 3 day shipping. Do yourself a favor and get shoes somewhere else.

I ordered two identical pair of Reef flip flops and they took 2 weeks to arrive (strike 1). They ran VERY small and unfortunately had to be returned. First, they required I call them to start the return process (strike 2). Then their automated system doesn't accept responses, which required me to sit through the looooong prerecorded message before I could be placed on hold (strike 3 and 4). After a two very, very LONG hold times (first time I had to give up after an hour on hold to go into a meeting), second time I waited 45 minutes to get a human to start my return (strike 5), just to be told I was going to be charged a RESTOCKING fee for brand new, unworn shoes (STRIKE 6)! Worst experience ever buying online and I'm never buying from Shoes.com again. Please avoid this company with almost non-existent customer service.

I bought a pair of running shoes but they rubbed a blister on my heal. Sometimes it does take a bit to break in shoes so I put on thicker socks and kept on but after a month, I was still getting a blister and called to get an exchange and they wouldn't do that since the shoes were not in new condition. There website says they guareentee happiness but that is a farce! Will never buy shoes from this company again and will let everyone know how bad it is!

DO NOT BUY FROM SHOES.COM! I wish I would have read the reviews before I purchased from Shoes.com TWICE. The first time they said I was outside the return time frame but it was only because their employee had not sent me the correct return label. Even after speaking with a supervisor, they refused to resend the correct label and I was out the $50 for sandals I never wore.

After about a year, I decided to give them a 2nd chance and purchased another pair of shoes. They did not fit and I wanted to exchange. However, to do an exchange, I had to pay full price for the replacement shoes. They then rejected my return because they said I had worn them and the leather was creased. The only thing I did was try them on, walked a little bit and they hurt my feet so I boxed them back up again.

When I disputed their findings, they told me they reviewed and cannot offer a refund. (And don't try to call them. They will hang up on you after waiting on hold for 30 minutes. I got a response by emailing them.)

Too bad I can't give Shoes.com ZERO stars. I'm going back to Zappos.com. They have great customer service.

Purchased a pair of shoes from Shoes.com and wore them inside on carpet only 2 times for short periods of time. Did not fit properly and returned for refund. They were sent back to me saying they had been worn and soles were scuffed. Talked to someone in customer service who could only argue with me. Shoes.com Is not a place to purchase shoes. Try Amazon instead.

Impossible returns

I ordered limited edition hello kitty doc martens from shoes.com without reading the reviews. Obviously, I was terrified. I'm giving it a 3 star rating because they shipped me my shoes in perfect condition within 4 days of my purchase, but they were the wrong size. This is my own fault because I didn't realize they were in UK sizes rather than US. I followed the instructions on their website to get my return label, but any information I enter leads me to an error message regardless of it being correct. I cannot get my return label so I cannot ship my package back. I tried calling them and I have currently been on hold for TWO HOURS. This site is great if you need shoes fast but god forbid there be any error because you will get stuck with shoes 3 times the size of your feet with no way to return them.

I purchased a pair of converse high tops, order #*******-1 and when they arrived, ( late,, by the way) i noticed they were clearly knockoff fake converse, and very cheaply made. I called customer service and they gave me a refund label, i immediately printed it out and shipped the shoes back in perfect condition, i even watched my package being loaded onto the truck. The tracking number has still not updated and i sent my package back weeks ago waiting for a refund. Customer service is terrible. I've attempted to contact them multiple times about my missing money and refund and they HANG UP ON ME. Do not purchase from this site. Sells fake knockoff versions of shoes and they're scammers.

Stay away!

Stay away! I tried to make an exchange, and they charged me for the new shoes and then claimed that returned shoes were worn and damaged and wouldn't give me my money back. I wore them long enough to try them on and even then the shoes were so small and stiff that I couldn't get my feet into them! I asked the customer service "manager" (the 4th "manager" I spoke to) if we are allowed to try on the shoes and shes said "yes of course" to which I said then why do you consider what I did wearing them? She didn't have an answer. This is a scam to sell off damaged or defective merchandise. Stay away.
