They don't get their packages on time and expedited shipping has a different meaning to them. I repeat X OUT OF THE WINDOW AND GO ELSEWHERE. The customer service of this company is nasty, rude and does not listen to a customers concern. Don't bother calling them unless you want a raging headache. I will NEVER order from here again. I suggest everyone reading this review order from Zappos, I made a huge mistake trying out shoebuy. Never again.
I purchased on the 9th of October with another pair was added by the system into my cart, so I got 2 shoes, the one i actually want to purchase (size 9) and the other one (size 8). The payment got through with no other layer of confirmation. 2 minutes after receiving the email confirmation, I send shoebuy an email stating that only 1 pair of shoe i want to buy and the other one got charged by mistake. Yet since then i got no reply from Shoebuy, then i send 2 more emailsand got no reply, afterwards, I have tried to call the customer service number 3 times:

This company shipped me some out of date shoes that were poorly packed without any air bags for cushioning. Free shipping always comes with consequences, since your parcels are always jostled around and handled much more by the shipping carriers, than they would be during expedited shipping. When I opened the bag, I saw that the shoebox was torn open on both ends and the shoes inside were damaged. I wasn't responsible for the damage, so I called their customer service department on the phone. After giving them a mouthful about their sloppy packing and shipping, I was told that I would have my restocking fee returned to me right away. A few days later, when the shoes arrived back at their warehouse, I saw that my refund was for less than I paid for the shoes, even when I added the restocking fee to my credit. They still owed me $8.50 cents that they failed to credit me for. This company should be flagged as a sham at the very least, and their return policies are extremely misleading and deceptive. Go to a genuine dealer to purchase your shoes, you won't be sorry!
I would rate them a big 0! The shoes look nothing like the pictures and had to get PayPal to get my money back coz they wouldn't let me return coz it was past the 30 days. They do 30 days from the time you order, these shoes come from China so it takes about 3-4 weeks to get them to begin with! DON'T ORDER PERIOD!
I ordered two identical pair of Reef flip flops and they took 2 weeks to arrive (strike 1). They ran VERY small and unfortunately had to be returned. First, they required I call them to start the return process (strike 2). Then their automated system doesn't accept responses, which required me to sit through the looooong prerecorded message before I could be placed on hold (strike 3 and 4). After a two very, very LONG hold times (first time I had to give up after an hour on hold to go into a meeting), second time I waited 45 minutes to get a human to start my return (strike 5), just to be told I was going to be charged a RESTOCKING fee for brand new, unworn shoes (STRIKE 6)! Worst experience ever buying online and I'm never buying from Shoes.com again. Please avoid this company with almost non-existent customer service.
Disappointed to find that the "FREE OVERNIGHT SHIPPING" they tout was a sham. There was no place to enter the magic code at Checkout, so I called in mid-order to inquire, and was instructed to complete the transaction. She assured me that she had changed to the FREE overnight shipping, rather than the 7 day ground. That was 5 days ago, and when tracking the UPS delivery, I see the order MAY arrive before Christmas... or not! (A good 8 days after the order.)
Too many options,,,,, why waste your time buying from a seller that has a sense of deception. It is not free returns,,,, they charge a restocking fee,,,,,
If I could give 0 minus stars I would, here it is February and I'm still waiting for my REFUND from Christmas, and you cannot get them on the phone! Very disappointed will never order from them again!

This company took 3 weeks to get me my work boots that cost me $200 when they arrived the sole is coming off the boots, which isn't there fault but I can't even return them without sending them pictures of the boots and letting them decide if there defective, which will take 5-10 business days.

For international orders, shipping takes 10-14 business days and we usually ask for pictures for defective or incorrect items. However, the customer is not required to send pictures and is welcome to return them without pictures. My experience with the site has been extremely negative. They are CROOKS who just trick you with big letters sale, and extremely low letters on their return policy, charges for returns, and unaccepted returns! I would NEVER EVER buy from them again

I order shoes from them on 1/26/22 after receiving my order I tried on the shoes and found them to by almost a inch to long. I tried at least 20 times to call which no one will answer and they tell you to please contact them through their web site which Ive done with no reponse. The web sites says they are having troubles with certain return emails and try again later this has been at least two weeks of trying every night must have a stupid person handling the website. I went to consumer reports and found over 500 complaints in 2 years what fraud now am I ever going to receive my funds back I'm now filing a case in small court lets see how far we go if that does not work I'm sure there is a lawyer out there that would sue them for fraud on my behalf. And if your wondering about shoe size being so large I have order same brand in same size just different style and they fit fine. I warning consumers dont do business with this company they dont do returns vary shady I'm not giving up I will never give in ya its 330.00 but its not my way to walk away thinking lesson learned thats whats wrong with people today they dont stand up for the correct things and just give in to being ripped off. The last company that ripped me off spent 200.000.00 in lawyer fees and 14 years in court it cost me nothing and the reward was huge I won shoes.com your going down give me my 330.00 or go 40 rounds with me I never lose

The Company sent an email with old worn shoe pictures and returned the Shoes that I had purchased to me. The Shoes I purchased and that I have in my possession are NOT the ones pictured. Originally when I received them I tried them on and they were too small so I got authorization to return them. Since I've been a long time customer purchasing several pairs over the years I'm surprised with the company's deceptive practice.
All I can say is NO MORE will I Buy from them

My order came to 311.96, shoes.com put a hold on my account for that amount and are taking out the individual price for each shoe until all shoes have been shipped and then they will release the hold of the total amount. NO WHERE IN THE PAYMENT METHOD DOES IT MENTION THAT. THIS WILL BE MY ONLY AND LAST TIME ORDERING FROM SHOES.COM. THIS IS NOT THE WAY YOU DO BUSINESS. DONT ORDER FROM THEM!
Have been waiting a week and product still hasn't shipped. Asked if I could cancel the order and said they would charge a restocking fee. Will probably never order from again

I have been shopping with ShoeBuy since I bought my wedding day shoes in 2007. The biggest appeal of the website was always the large selection and free shipping and returns. The experiences were always positive until this week. I ordered winter coats and snow boots in various sizes and styles with the intention of returning the unwanted products, just as I have always done. I go online today to print my return labels easy easy like always and much to my surprise I see the almost $7 restocking fee per item. As a long time customer I feel deceived, as the company does not warn of the fee prior to purchase. I can understand that companies sometimes need to make changes to their practices and policies, however the way in which ShoeBuy has done it feels shady. Long time customers kept coming back because of the selection and the former return policy, but based on the newest reviews it seems like that's going to change. I will never use this website again, I will never recommend it to anyone again, and I have to spread the word to my family and friends I turned on to this site to shop elsewhere. I did contact customer service directly, the woman I spoke with was friendly and understanding (Tania), but ultimately skirt around the issue. Now I'm stuck with $28 in fees, about what I "saved" during their "sale".

Customer service is very poor, and you can almost see them setting a timer when they go to talk to their supervisor and come back on to say they can't help. I wanted to exchange a Chaco for a different size. They have both the size I need and the size I have, so they have not lost any sales due to my having a shoe since late October which I purchased for a Christmas gift. They have a 60 day return policy which I didn't realize and is much less than most places. I had the shoes for 66 days. Their Holiday return policy is 90 days but starts on November 1. I offered to pay shipping both ways, Still nothing. Then they offered me a $5 credit which would have brought the wrong size sandals down to $72. It it's me I make a concession for the customer and do an even exchange rather than lose their business which they can see has been frequent. I would rather pay more at Zappos than ever deal with this company again. Apparently they don't publish their poor reviews, so their 4.5 star rating is fraudulent.
I think this company is fine if you know exactly what shoe you want and that it will fit. I bought two pairs of shoes - a pair of running sneakers that were the same company and size that I already owned, so I was sure they would fit. They came quickly and were great. The other pair I bought was some booties. When I first tried them on, they fit ok, so I wore them to my office where I sit at a computer most of the day. By the time I got to work, they were already hurting my feet, so when I got home I decided I'd return them. They told me they wouldn't take them back because they already had a small amount of wear in the short time I wore them. They also said I could try to return them but there'd be a restocking fee, so if they rejected them, I'd be out even more money. I guess these are going to Good Will. Hopefully someone else will find them more comfortable than I did. I'm disappointed in this return policy, especially since it's an online store so there's no option to try them on before buying. They do have a discount for teachers which I appreciated.
I never write negative reviews but I just HAD to get my opinion out there on this one. I am so disappointed the cozyboots.com return policy and customer service. After ordering some uggs in the smaller size that their website recommends I tried them on at home and realized they were way too small and painful to wear so I promptly sent them back only to get them returned 3 weeks later with a note stating they could not be exchanged for another size because they were worn. I called to explain that they were not "worn" but only tried on to determine the fit at home. After calling multiple times, waiting on hold for long periods of time, being "promised" a call back from the supervisor, then finally the manager I was treated EXTREMELY rudely by Laurie (manager) who was completely unhelpful. I thought paying nearly $200 for a pair of boots would get me some sort of customer satisfaction but clearly there is none. I am now stuck with boots that are too small. I will NEVER use cozyboots.com or it's sister-site shoebuy.com! They are horrible! I will only make my future purchases at retail stores that offer reasonable return policies, not fake ones!

Answer: Stay away! I tried to make an exchange, and they charged me for the new shoes and then claimed that returned shoes were worn and damaged and wouldn't give me my money back. I wore them long enough to try them on and even then the shoes were so small and stiff that I couldn't get my feet into them! I asked the customer service "manager" (the 4th "manager" I spoke to) if we are allowed to try on the shoes and shes said "yes of course" to which I said then why do you consider what I did wearing them? She didn't have an answer. This is a scam to sell off damaged or defective merchandise. Stay away.
