Shiply

Folks, careful here! Shiply will do everything to not refund the deposit, they say it can be used as a credit, but if you don't want to work with them you will ultimately lose your money! Only pay the deposit if you are sure you will be using the trucking company. Otherwise do not believe in their MISLEADING propaganda!

I would like to provide a BIG THANK YOU to the team of Viorel and Valentin, an amazing duo who took care to provide an exceptional moving experience for us with our 5-bedroom house. Viorel and Valentin were punctual and very quickly assessed the situation and provided us with a plan for the day. They set expectations, outlining low and high risks, along with a clear strategy on how to minimize those risks. They moved heavy furniture pieces smoothly and carried many boxes efficiently and made every effort to protect our goods.
We moved into a brand-new home, and there was not a scratch on any of the walls or wood floors. I could not be more impressed with this team. I have had a lot of experiences moving homes (5 prior moves) and have to give Viorel and Valentin 5 stars. They were exceptional, really exceeding my expectations. They cared about getting the job done well and performed flawlessly. They are an incredible team and I would highly recommend them!

Paid Shiply deposit of $80, and the driver $150. It was required to driver half up front. The driver went MIA and quit communication thorough SHIPLY. Shiply supposedly does the vetting of these drivers and then takes no responsibility if they no-show. Shiply won't even give me my money back that I paid them. They want me to use that money for another shipment. I will never use them again. Scam of a conmpany.

I used their service to find a transport partner, who they verified and then that person stole my money, did not provide the service and now I have not been refunded. They are a fraud and a scam! Don't use them!

I can only write about my own experience with Shiply. I have had several items of all shapes and sizes picked up and delivered in the past and even today I took receipt of another item. I find them to be very caring with the choice of companies they choose to put on their site. When I accepted a bid for a certain company to do my delivery, Shiply contacted me to inform me that it was a fairly new company to their site and if I had any problems at all to contact Shiply immediately so that they could sort out any problems. Needless to say there were none. Thank you Shiply I trust you with offering me the best.

I was trying to get a motorcycle shipped from Montreal. They connect me with a shipper, that when I search the web, there is a long list of horrible reports that there are scam artists and damaged equipment, were not on time, the equipment took much longer to receive ete. I cancelled my order and now out $85 because there does really appear to be any way to contact shiply. Their site help icon says Ooops something went wrong and their email does not work. I think this is a scam site that directs all may to the same company and provides other bogus quotes that may all go to same shipper as well.

Shiply is a good site... the fees added to their quotes are too high... I have used a them some times but other times I had to end the listing without a booking as I found cheaper quotes by contacting transporters directly. For example the last job I booked through shiply was £316 out that £260 only for the transporter and £56 shiply fees!
Now £56 fee is very much over the odds! Which drives away many customers and transporters from using their platform... I'm in the motor trade and I know many transporters and customers who stopped using the platform due to their very high fees!
Sadly their management prefer to lose business over lowering their fees to reasonable amount.
Apart from the high fees it is a good site if you choose transporters with a good feedback.

My shipper, MadHatter33, never showed. She took my deposit and although she claims her business partner stole from her, she won't reply to my reasonable requests for reimbursement. I strongly recommend against using MadHatter33 if you need to move. Also, Shiply made me jump through hoops to get a refund of my booking fee and was not supportive is pursuing my shipper. Obviously, because they did refund me the booking fee, they acknowledged that MadHatter33/Complete Property Services is fraudulent and never fulfilled their contract, never showed. Stay away!

If I could give zero stars, I would, liars, theives, bullies, that may or may not be directly connected with them since they use 3rd party. I'm not saying that this is a bad company altogether, but my family's experience was very unprofessional. We wound up having to put things in storage at the last minute. We were not going to be bamboozled by those people. When things go wrong one party wants to blame the other. Whatever! To sum it all up. I say this. RUN RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN LIKE THE GINGERBREAD MAN!
