Shiply saved me lots of time, and money. The quotes came back quickly. The alternative for me was to put a recommendation request on FB which is slow going sorting the wheat from the chaff and that way does not always get you the best deal.

I can only write about my own experience with Shiply. I have had several items of all shapes and sizes picked up and delivered in the past and even today I took receipt of another item. I find them to be very caring with the choice of companies they choose to put on their site. When I accepted a bid for a certain company to do my delivery, Shiply contacted me to inform me that it was a fairly new company to their site and if I had any problems at all to contact Shiply immediately so that they could sort out any problems. Needless to say there were none. Thank you Shiply I trust you with offering me the best.
Arranged delivery of large sofa from England to Northern Ireland (because so many companies on mainland UK won't ship to the rest of the UK...!), but Mike at Stopcar was the very best. Picked up as arranged and arrived punctually. Would use again.

Shiply commission charges are set and way too high which has an impact on recovery firms that wish to give the customer a discounted service. Shiply need lower the commission they charge to the recovery firms.
Always sceptical when you use a new service however Shiply did exactly what was needed. Quoting was easier. Plenty of replies, and it saved me a trip.
As a charity every penny counts therefore being able to have something delivered cheaper than I could personally make the journey was a huge bonus.
Definately use again!
I needed to ship a bicycle and a big box from Northern Ireland to Manchester. DPD, UPS etc. wanted me to box the bicycle but I had no time and bicycle box to do that. With Shiply I found a courier who was much cheaper than DPD, UPS etc. actually 50% cheaper, the courier had no problem that bike was not boxed in one piece, I wrapped bike a bit for protection with bubble wrap and cardboard, next day collection bang on time, next day delivery before time, bike in ideal condition, box with fragile stuff in it in ideal condition. I had also some stupid quotes and couriers contacting and asking silly questions but I picked the good one. Very Good website!
Just put in details get a quote contact the transporter and bobs your uncle... so easy and fabulous service... highly recommended for any of your transport needs!
First class easy to use site, received numerous quotes from delivery companies to transport my digger from Scotland to Bedfordshire. Chose a provider and received excellent service. Communication excellent, delivery on time and they couldn't do enough for me. Even help me top up the digger with hydraulic fluid.
Great idea to have a central co-ordinator for a variety of busy courier companies. However Shiply needs much better communication skills and flexibility.
Very difficult to communicate with, re. Change of post codes and no facility for multi-drop or multi pick-up offered.
So, good idea but needs more thought through processes. Shiply needs to be far more flexible regarding customer requirements. Also needs much better person to person contact, found telephone comms very sketchy. (poor)
Will definitely use again. Posted a request and got so many quotes back so quickly. There are so many prices to compare so pick and choose which ever ones have better reviews of course. The shipper has great communication and also willing to negotiate in price, helpful on dates. Highly recommend Shiply and will definitely use again in future whenever needed.
