Purchased a pair of sunglasses (almost £300) which were faulty on arrival, the hinges were loose and the frame stretched as though they had been worn on someone's head and widened. When I put them on they would slide straight off my face. I notified the company and they told me to send back for an exchange or refund, I incurred extra charges to return the item signed for and Refund was delayed a week after item received back to be met with the excuse that the hinges were not faulty yet they had found not one but TWO scratches on the item (yeah sure) so therefore were going to return the item to me as would not refund! I've been absolutely ripped off, I really wish I had checked the reviews prior to order as I would never have purchased from these dodgy people! Don't waste your money!
I purchased a pair of black Oliver Peoples Ryce frames to replace the ones I currently have. I typically trust my gut and I was wary as the reviews were not that great. The frames arrived and were astoundingly horrible knockoffs. I might have kept them had they been remotely like the originals but, these were so bad it was laughable. The frames were made of super cheap plastic and looked like something I could scoop up for 6 dollars at a Venice beach sunglasses stall. I paid the high shipping fee and returned them. Thankfully, they gave me a refund promptly, but the disappointment still has left a bad taste. Never again. Buyer beware!

I ordered prescription sunglasses. When they arrived, they seemed a little small and sure enough, they weren't the large frames I ordered (i'm a big guy, I order large of everything). When I asked them to rectify it, they refused saying the mistake was on MY end, not theirs. So, I had to mail back the smaller frames (at my own cost-over 100$) throw away prescription lenses that were too small, order the right size frame, new prescription lenses (paying twice!) and THEN they tell me the larger size is on backorder for MONTHS. The sunglasses I ordered for myself in June did not arrive until--wait for it--NOVEMBER. And... because of their mistake... the $300 glasses cost me well over $500. Their "customer service" did not make ANY accommodations for this customer at all. Go elsewhere.
If you do have problems with your order, expect stonewalling and doubling down on poor customer service positions.

I paid $160 U.S. dollars for a pair of Chromance Raybans (RB4283, I believe). The first day I wore them, they were amazing. Everything was super clear and beautiful colors. However, about a week later, I notice a "hole" in the coating on one lens - not a scratch but a fading of the lens coating. It has just gotten progressively worse. Clearly they are faulty but when I contacted Shade Station, they said that lens aren't covered under warranty. They were gracious and sent the pics to the manufacturer - or so they said. But I don't expect much by way of restitution. Now I have totally unusable sunglasses after two weeks of wear.

Last year i purchased a Gucci sunglass, and it was perfect and original. Thinking the same i bought a dolce & gabbana sunglasses recently and it is fake.
Firstly, the sunglasses are very light as if lifting a toy in hand, feels like holding a cheap sunglass.
Secondly, the cleaning cloth was missing from the box.
The brand name printed both on the carry case and the sunglass cover are just getting rubbed of when scratched lightly,
It should not be going off so easily, after all it is one of the famous brands.
The carry case was also totally different from what was shown in the photos.

These guys are pretty amazing. Highly responsive, glasses arrived quickly, able to get a free return when I sent them back in to be altered and came back a day or two later. These guys are pretty amazing. I normally only leave reviews when bad, but this was so good here I am.

BEWARE! Defective lenses!
After a long research I decided to order my prescription glasses with them.
Order was placed on FEB-17:

Lens Type: Varifocal
Lens Material: Varilux Comfort Varifocal (1.6) - Essilor Lens
Lens Tint: Clear Lens
Reflective Coating: Anti-Glare
These are one grade below the most expensive ones.
On FEB-24 I wrote them as I have not yet received any confirmation as for shipping.
The glasses had finally came on Friday 1st of March.
They looked good but unfortunatlly the lenses were deforemed!
I tried to work with them but it seemed like computer screen is very blurry and hard to read. I was very unhappy with this.
So I wrote them & sent them back and they were recieved on MAR-26.
On APR-15 Essilor have said that there was a problem with the lenses.
I got a full refund but certainly walked a long way and wasted a lot of time with these people just to be left without glasses!
Do not trust them!

Don't order from this company if you are in Australia. I ordered Oakley Snow Goggles for my son's birthday as he was going on a snow boarding trip and paid an extra $30 AUD for speedy delivery and the goggles arrived 2 weeks after he was back home from his holiday! The company claims the extremely slow delivery was because I gave a PO Box address, but I was never advised this wasn't acceptable, & was never contacted for an alternate address, which I could have easily provided. Even once I did give my street address it took another week to arrive! The only compensation they provided for their incompetance was a refund for the "speedy delivery"!

Shade, a UK- based online merchant, exploited the lack of protections for me as a US customer.
In October 2017, I ordered prescription sunglasses from Shade for $365 USD. After I placed the order, Shade contacted me several times requesting I make modifications to the order because they were unable to honor the original order. Months later, Shade sent me sunglasses without a prescription. Shade refused to send me a return shipping label for the item. After months of email correspondence with Shade and placing a dispute with my credit card company, Shade gave me a $9-7 USD credit to mail the item back to Shade. I had to pay $14 USD to return the merchandise. 7 months after I originally placed the order, Shade indicated that it had closed the issue and would not refund my return.

The return policy is based on Natalia the secretary who answers the phone is also the supervisor who decided that my sunglasses weren't bent. Be prepared to keep your item no matter issue. Keep your business in 'Merica

Made two orders so far with Shade Station, the first was a pair of Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ and the other for a pair of Ray Ban Square Wayfarer Polarised. Both orders arrived within a week and were the cheapest I could find on the internet. I also had the Oakleys verified as genuine by the Oakley store in Sydney so overall I cannot recommend them highly enough and I will definitely use them again
