I was a paid member and many times I have taken the membership. I met a person from the UK through this website, after 3 months he started asking money. I reported him and they only deleted his profile.

No results, It is not worth paying. After reading all the reviews here, I totally agree with all and going to remove my account permanently.
After losing my parents, I found solace in matrimonial apps. Shaadi.com's Shaadi Live feature led me to Radhika, the love of my life. Despite the distance, we connected deeply and enjoyed meaningful road trips. She inspires my personal growth and financial responsibility. Thanks to Shaadi.com, we are getting married in December, filled with gratitude for this amazing app.
I had a fantastic experience with Select Shaadi! It was super easy and just what I needed. The team really understood what I was looking for and suggested some amazing matches. The whole process made finding the right person a breeze. If you're looking for a great matchmaking experience, I highly recommend Select Shaadi. They made my journey to finding love simple and enjoyable.
I found my soulmate through Shaadi.com! I knew what I wanted, and Shaadi.com made it easy to find someone who was a good match for me.The app presented profiles that were highly relevant to my interests, and it was easy to use.
I befriended 2 guys and 1 was real and became a close friend and the other who I was very interested in was fake and kept giving me soundless videos of himself and said we could not do webcam as he did not have a phone to do so. Later he suddenly had a phone to make video but said the microphone was broken. He said he was half form india and english and was good looking of he was only a real person but he kept making excuses to not do webcam or pick up the phone and spoke in an arabic accent, not hindi. Beware of UAE members for sure as they seem to place good looking photos up of educated men and then place themselves in some remote area of US and say they are looking for a bride. If it is too good to be true and they are too good-looking and successful but single, it certainly is a problem.
So while I haven't had a bad experience with shaadi.com, I haven't had a good one either. I absolutely refuse to pay for the upgrade bc I don't trust them. But many of the profiles I have seen are so fake. Pics of a 40 or 50 something year old man claiming to be 25 or 29 etc, profiles claiming to be a doctor but they're 22 years old. Or claiming to work as a doctor in Canada but they only moved here 2 years ago. My tip to not get scammed is if the profile doesn't look right or the story doesn't add up it's a fake. Also beware of those who are on work permits etc. I read 1 woman married a man from Pakistan who claimed to love her and he moved to the UK with her. She was married for almost 20 years and had 9 kids with him, then his passport came through and the next week he told her he wanted a divorce. If you are going to meet someone, do it in public and ask as many questions as possible, most people dont manage to tick off every box so if they seem perfect they're probably out to scam you. Of you decide to get married to one and they aren't citizens or pr then draw up a legal agreement to protect yourself
Fake account on shaadi.com. Guys from Africa are making fake accounts and romance scamming women. Picture of scammer.
I do not know for sure how much to blame the website. Yes they need to take serious action against frauds. One thing good is they ask for verification because you could be in one country and claim to be in another so you should provide documents. But it is the members who are either vulgar and indecent intention to trick or con people. The worst example is recent man from UK saying he has a business. He said he is in IT. He is a Baker. But it is ok if you are not looking for a rich man but this man is WITH A CRIMINAL RECORD OF MONEY LAUNDERING AND RAPE CONVICTION AND STILL UNDER PROBATION. HE TRIES TO FIND OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION. And trick women by saying he is in love with them and wants to marry but they have to wait. Then he tries to find all Information about you. First Shaadi.com deleted his profile then again he came back on the site. So the business needs some serious shakeup. For all you people out there, this is the picture of the man, smooth talker DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM. Name Ibrahim Khan age 51 years Alias lincoln and may be using itger names claims to be awaiting divorce or divorce lives in Ashton under Lyne. If you receive different information about this man upload it here.
News report of his crime

Shaadi.com representative called and proposed VIP services offer for 34,000 rupees for 4 months subscription. As promised that they will send 2 proposal per week as per our requirements.
The proposal that were sent were for only other vip subscribers and they do not match your requirements as specified.
They even sent me other Nationalities that are not even close to our requirements. It is fooling and scamming subscribers and minting money for the situation of the desperate parents who are looking for proposal for their children. Shame on Shaadi.com
Being a paid member, their system kicks me off saying there is some screening and I send emails and raise queries and no single response apart from the automated email! I doubt if there is even anyone working in the customer support! What happens to my membership? They should at least be refunding that one would expect! Need to sue them for extracting money like this from customers
This business of matching people does not even have a customer service phone. It takes them 72 hours to respond to your messages. Interest ring fact when they respond you will get 3-4 response from agents
I wasted my 2 years of money. Only thing they care about is membership. They provide free membership for ladies not men?
Shaadi.com is a sham website with very poor (Poorest) service performance.
Fake, Limited and repeat profiles and above all their way of operating. Once a paid membership is taken they will propose much expensive alternatives like VIP / Caste based subscriptions with a premium price tag. Once you decline the offer then they will dry up the profile pool of your existing paid subscription.
Very unprofessional data base managers and no regard to personal info. As matrimony is termed to be sensitive issue in India.
I am sure that this website will be termed rouge and fraud in coming times ahead.
Its better to post and subscribe to other alternatives, but NOT http://shaadi.com As on my experience and study of this website I am able to share my response.
Thanks
I have raised an ticket regarding this they didn't respond so far. Girls who are not interested in marriage also created their profile. I don't know whether this is matrimonial site or some other porn site.
All the proofs are attached in mail and send it to shaadi support. No response from their end
You know what the purpose of this site is? They want to wipe out peoples' bank accounts having no genuine female profiles at all! I regret that I dealt with it. I express my gratitude to J7Love.com
-it's the only international dating site that really helped me. I met my wife there. They are a top-level site and they work absolutely honestly: without paying anyone for seducing lonely men and corresponding with them. Shaadi is totally phony and misleading. They tend to use all kinds of tricky schemes to separate male users for their cash. There is whole lot of money scam dating websites and apps these days, and Shaadi is not an exception. I strongly encourage you to avoid it like plague!
So far all profiles are fake. They accepted the invitation and they've been online 24 7 no sleep at all. I am trying to bust this scam. Most of work permit, temp. Visa holders profiles all are fake... and even from India bunch of profiles are fake. They contact me via whatsapp a sleepy lady say hello hello but on top of name it was showing business account. Same thing happen to 4 another profiles... be careful do not pay them. By credit cards. They are big fraud.
I was in Shaadi.com for a while and I never ever found even one good guy for marriage. Most guys are frauds and losers from India. Some send you interest but after you accept, they immediately reject you. Reason; they simply want you to pay monthly fees so you can send emails and communicate more. The people running this matrimonial site have no moral or ethics. Their web page can easily cause your phone to catch a virus. This website stole 3 of my pictures. Profiles are fake and dangerous. 70% of the men shown are married. I hope Consumer Council closes this matrimonial site. Guys beware and be very safe if you still want to meet anyone by this matrimonial site. I think the best way to meet any genuine person is by telling your family and friends to look up a partner for you.
This was by far the worse experience I have had in terms of platform use. Not only do my messages to my matches constantly not send with an error stating that my messages will send when my match is back online (neither of which is true), but the app also doesn't recognise apostrophes. You have to actually write "do not" rather than "dont". Clearly written for indian English speakers, as opposed to English speakers. Couple in the useless customer service that tells you... oh, you just have to restart the app. No sheet Sherlock. I did not even think of this (sarcasm). I really am starting to understand why it is not rated as highly as other apps out there.
I tried out different websites to find someone to date, but Shaadi.com turned out to be the best for me. Some other websites had fake profiles and married people, which was a bit tricky to deal with. But on Shaadi.com, I met lots of amazing and honest women who were really beautiful. My friend also found his life partner there, and I'm hopeful that I'll find my future wife among these wonderful women too. I recommend others to check out platforms like Shaadi.com for real and genuine connections.
Fake. They will even video chat. I actually sent someone Pakistan to visit them. The girl ghosted. She disappeared. Heartless people keeping you in the loop. Girls working and getting paid to keep you hopeful.
I signed up for shaadi.com. October through January 31 2022. There are so many guys there with fake profiles. Ladies be aware any guy that says he is going overseas for job contract. Do not talk to them. Because once they are there they will ask for money like 25.000 dollars. Because something went wrong there. Either with their equipment or they need to buy a machine.
These guys are preying on us women. Let's be vigilant ladies.
Answer: Please don't bother with Shaadi. It's not worth the efforts and the money. My son met his wife through http://J4Love.net I'm pretty sure it's not the only honest dating site, there are bunch of other platforms and you may want to experiment. But just avoid Shaadi! It's definitely a dishonest company. They want to keep the cash flowing and they use very nefarious methods for milking the unsuspecting users for money!
Answer: Disconnect sounds suspicious make sure they talk could be married living with wife
