The service went well except for the fact that customers have to print and affix labels properly on the packages. In situations when one is traveling, that is not always expedient. I believe the courier partners should come supplied with the shipping label when they pick up the parcels.

I sent two pieces of luggage from Canada to Thailand. Firstly, I was disappointed because they missed the pick-up date. I waited for a day with no show of pick-up guys. However, the impressive was back when my luggage was shipped fastly from Canada to Thailand within three days. But, the nightmare begins after the parcel arrives. DHL express Thailand, sent me an email to pay the tax for import duties with complete lists. Then I called the duty office to ask for more information. The duty officer told me that my luggage was not in the process of them yet. Things happened at DHL warehouse without any officer's attention. So I realized that my luggage was opened and searched without authorization by any duty officer or myself. I asked Senmybag team support, and I got the answer below,
You are very clearly advised of the following before sending on our service:
"At a time of heightened aviation security worldwide we wanted to remind you ALL shipments are x-rayed and are subject to security searches."
It was clear that my luggage was searched without any safety or security purposes. It was opened and searched for tax purposes, but DHL is unauthorized for this. I fought with DHL for about one month, explaining to DHL officers. Finally, I decided to complain to DHL head office. Then, the DHL officers processed the shipment with 10% of import tax duties (compared with the tax amount in the first email).
Hence, if you want to send your stuff to Thailand, I do not recommend using Sendmybag service. I have a terrible experience with them because they use DHL express, Thailand service.

My experience was great once my bag was in transit. It arrived a lot earlier than expected and all was intact. The annoying part was the admin once payment was made, which I didn't particularly like. Although it was smart of sendmybag to put it after payment - in that once you've paid you'd have to fill out the paper work regardless. I would have much rather the option to do it before payment.

Two of us sent large bags from Switzerland to the US. One of the labels somehow got switched in the process: no one is sure how it happened. So one bag went to the other's destination and the other disappeared.
BUT, SendMyBag swung into action immediately and thoroughly. They located the missing bag within 2 days and delivered it a day later. Wonderful! Things can go awry: what's important is that the service provider then make things right, and SendMyBag did. Wonderfully unexpected, wonderful result!
After much searching for a trustworthy shipping company, a friend recommended SendMyBag. I was amazed that it only took 4 days to ship from Germany to Australia. Everything arrived in good condition. Would highly recommend.

Answer: Avoid sendmybag if you can Would give a negative rating if I could. Had 2 bags delivered, they lost one and damaged the other. On top of that are now refusing to process a claim. I have read other reviews to know they do this on a regular basis. Companies like this shouldn't be allowed to operate. 0 marks for doing there job and a definite negative on customer support.
