Do NOT use this company. I ordered a bouquet from sendflowers.com website. It was supposed to be pink and purple roses. Instead, my cousin got a hideous bouquet of orange, yellow and red junky filler flowers. Not one rose in the bunch. What a mistake.
I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from sendflowers.com. Lesson learned. Hopefully others will read this and say away. Since flowers are invariably ordered for an important date, making sure they arrive as advertised is very important. This didn't happen with this company.
I wanted to surprise my daughter staying in NYC for her birthday all the way from home in South Africa. Paid and confirmed the order. On delivery date no delivery was done despite clear instructions to deliver to foyer at security with address and telephone number. Not so much of a happy birthday
Flowers were to delivered on Friday. Did not come. Called and they said they would be here Saturday by 1:30. At 2:15 UPS delivered flowers. No water just dried up dead flowers. 3 DEAD sunflowers, 2 dead carnations, wilting mums and some other little flowers with the blooms falling off. Called again and they said they would send a new bouquet on Saturday or Sunday. Monday - still no flowers. Even if they had been alive it looked like a very cheap bouquet from the grocery store. Maybe 4.99. Believe me that is not what we paid.
Today is my mom's birthday. I ordered a premium bouquet for her more than a week in advance. I received an email that they were delivered. I checked with my mom, and she had not received any flowers. I called the customer service number and someone who barely spoke English informed me that they would be delivered by 7 pm. I called again at 7:04 because no flowers had been delivered. They said they would be delivered by 7:30 pm. It is now 7:55 pm and no flowers have been delivered. I told them that if they don't arrive by 8 pm, I want a refund. They asked if I would settle for 20% back?! No! I paid $80 for flowers, and if you don't have enough sense to deliver by 8 pm, I need 100% of my money back! Plus, who wants a flower delivery after 7 pm on their birthday?! Avoid at all costs!

Stay away from these people unless missing delivery dates by 5 days is acceptable. Then they refuse to refund. Let them fight with AE as I denied the charge
I ordered "my heart to yours" rose boutique for my mom's birthday. Which included a heart shaped vase. What my mother received was NOTHING like the picture. I called and was on hold for about 30 minutes. Their website says "100% satisfaction guaranteed." Also says "we will either refund your money or redeliver a new product." I asked for a refund and they said the florist will have to go get the flowers. Are you kidding me? The other option they gave me was a gift card with a 20% refund. 100% satisfaction guareented is total BS!
Do not order from here. I ordered a bouquet called roses and tulips for my sister's 50th birthday and it was all pink (her favorite color). That is NOT what arrived and was definitely NOT the premium size I ordered for $75. It looked like a bunch of flowers thrown together from a grocery store. Wish I'd just stuck with a local florist or 1800flowers but my credit card was offering a discount to use them. I'm so upset.
Sent get-well flowers to a friend and used this site for the first time. The flowers were not close to what was pictured - lots of greenery, few blooms. There is no way to pull up a previous order unless you create an account (I checked out as a guest). When I tried to find a photo of what I'd ordered to compare, that arrangement was nowhere to be found (and I scoured the site). It's difficult to file a customer complaint when you can't compare what was promised vs what was delivered, which is probably the point. I wouldn't recommend using them especially for an important occasion. :/
Spent $50 for a birthday balloon bouquet to be delivered to my daughter at school. I called twice before the florist opened to make sure they got the message that she had early dismissal and they needed to be delivered by noon. We live in a small town that takes only 20 minutes to drive from one end to the other. The florist opened at 9 am and as of 1 pm the best status update I can get is they have been "on the truck" for hours. Very disappointed and wish I had read the reviews before wasting my money. Don't waste yours!
I order flowers three days before Valentine's day and no show. They call and say well I'm sorry it will come tomorrow. I didn't pay 100.00 dollars for this. Then on the phone for a half hour and get no where. Never use them
Flowers were never delivered although I received an email stating they were delivered. Spoke with customer service twice and the representative was difficult to understand and had no resolution for my issue except that I would hear from someone in 48 hours via email.
Never delivered my mother's flowers on mother's day. Said they would be there Monday, then said they'd be there Wednesday, never delivered anything. Many emails and long phone calls (on hold for 30 minutes at one point), and still no results. Lied and said the flowers had been delivered, never were. My mother suffers from early onset dementia, she's confused at the best of times, this litany of lies has sent her into a spin. Shameful behaviour, absolutely horrible company. Run a mile.
I ordered flowers online that were advertised as $19.99 same day delivery. I gave them my credit card and right before I hit confirm at the very bottom I saw the total of $39. They had added a 15 dollar delivery fee that had not been mentioned through the whole transaction. They hope you confirm without scrolling down to see the true price. Misleading cons.
Save your money for a local florist instead or use a more reputable website like 1800Flowers. I paid extra for their Deluxe option too. The flower arrangement I received is nothing as pictured. Horrible especially when the flowers are for a birthday and the bouquet received has white flowers which in some cultures the color white represents death. Customer service offered a gift card or discount. Why would I order from you again!? Stay away from SendFlowers.Com AND Fromyouflowers.com. They are the same.
I ordered a Christmas Cactus for my wife for her birthday. The day that it was supposed to arrive I got an email letting me know that the florist that they use in my area (a large city) does not have any in stock. Thanks so much for the timely notice and leaving me with no gift. They did, however, sure want to substitute something very similar. As if there is anything similar.
Although the purple carnation bouquet nice, it was not what we paid for, we had ordered "lavish purple rose bouquet". There was not a single rose in the arrangement. When we contacted SendFlowers, they kindly offered to send a new bouquet or give us $20 off next order. Sorry, but birthday bouquets are only birthday flowers one day of the year and if we were disappointed this time, why would we want to order again? NOT 100% satisfied!
The arrangement arrived late, with brittle flowers and the incorrect type of flowers, plus it is tiny, considering we paid for the largest size, it is barely a bouquet. Just all around awful. Don´t waste your money.
Same happened to me, the flowers I ordered didn't show up. When I called they put the order through to another florist and gave me a discount of $11(wow)
The second delivery failed to show up also. After the major hassle of being on hold forever I supposedly got a refund.
But I'll be checking with my credit card company. I'm seriously wondering if this whole operation is a scam.
Awful. They have no tracker, no communication whatsoever. Not only can you not pick the time of delivery or even see when the delivery is happening, they won't tell you about the delivery either. I talked to customer service and they said they'll communicate with him as soon as the local vendor responds - they never did. When the flowers came, they just left them at the porch under the rain! We had no idea they were sitting there for forever. And, on top of that, the flowers didn't turn out to look like the picture online. All wrong colors. Not worth all that money at all.
