False advertisement

I spent $64.49 on a deluxe Bouquet of flowers, 100% does not look like the photos they looked old and the lilies weren't even open and the roses that were in the bouquet were browning already ordered them at 11am picked same day delivery and showed up 6pm. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

Don't buy from them, Customer service is terrible, don't spend time and most important waste a special moment waiting for this company to fulfill it. It won't happened, they simply don't care, but they'll charge you the same day. Good Luck getting your money back!

! star just cause I had to put something - Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me and to think I trusted this bunch of bozo's to make good on their 1st FU. Stay away from these people unless missing delivery dates by 5 days is acceptable. Then they refuse to refund. Let them fight with AE as I denied the charge

I ordered flowers for my fiance for our occasion expecting same day service as promised by site. They weren't delivered. The next day by 1 pm still no flowers. Called to complain and had my order cancelled without my permission. Being the glutton for punishment i am i accepted a reorder promise that i would be put on rush order. Here i am 3 days later no flowers yet. Its close to 3 pm and been waiting all day. Its 108 degrees outside so i cant leave since i ordered chocolate

I wanted to send flowers to my sister in NJ so looked up this site. I found a bunch I liked and fileld in data but when it came to paying the delivery charge was ridiculous, so Ileft teh site. Because I had entered by details I received an email from them saying they would scrap the shipping charge if I placed an order within the day. When I looked at the skite again, all the prices had been increased by 25%? What a bunch of crooks.

So just have to inform anyone ordering flowers about the various websites I have used in the last 3 years. I have allowed for the COVID issues. I have ordered and/or received flowers from Bouqs.com, Teleflora, FTD, Proflowers and Sendflowers.com. Certainly there have been hiccups; however, the only site that has failed me each time I ordered from them is Sendflowers.com. I know, I should have given up after the second mis-delivery but I thought it was issues with local florists. They NEVER deliver on the delivery date and always blame the local florist. In addition, the quality of the product is not what is shown on the order (for example, on my latest order they substituted a birthday mug with a plain yellow mug; flowers were the standard version and not the deluxe I paid for). They offer as an apology to refund the express delivery fee (which they should as delivery was not expressed) and after learning that this is the third time I have had a problem, a $20 credit to a future order; like I would ever order from them again. Trying to reach customer service is an additional nightmare.

I had ordered a Birthday Balloon package with a teddy bear and chocolates a week in advance for my god son who was turning 4. They recently moved to Alaska and have zero family close by, so it was imperative that these get there on time. I had gotten an email stating the order was delivered, however, it was not. When I called to ask what had happened, they promised me the order would be delivered the next day, alongside a complimentary flower arrangement. Come the next day, all that was sent was the complimentary flower arrangement, that looked like a bunch of random half dead flowers thrown in a vase and NO Balloon arrangement. I called once again to ask for a refund, which I did get but am VERY upset I didn't go through another service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I ordered flowers for my 97 year old father upon his return from the hospital. He lives on the third floor of my brother's house. I received an email stating that the flowers had been delivered yet my dad never called to tell me he had received them. I called my brother, sister-in law and nephews to ask them to check the backyard, porch and side of the house even though they were home when the flowers were supposedly delivered. Flowers WERE NEVER DELIVERED! THEY SEARCHED ALL OVER FOR THEM. I WAS LIVID AND I WAS TOLD I WOULD RECEIVE A FULL REFUND FOR THIS RIDICULOUS SNAFU AND A FREE ARRANGEMENT FOR MY DAD. GUESS WHAT - THE FREE ARRANGEMENT WAS NEVER SENT TO MY DAD AND MY DAD NEVER RECEIVED WELCOME HOME FLOWERS. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I AM BEYOND DISGUSTED. NOT ONLY DID THEY ROYALLY SCREW UP A SIMPLE HOME DELIVERY, THEN THEY LIED ABOUT SENDING A COMPLIMENTARY ARRANGEMENT. I HAVE SPENT A TON OF MONEY WITH THEM OVER THE YEARS AND SADLY, THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME THEY ROYALLY SCREWED UP. NEVER AGAIN.

AVOID THIS COMPANY. I asked for flowers to be sent 48 HOURS BEFORE my uncle's funeral. I could not go to the funeral because of the pandemic. SendFlowers said they could do with no problem and took my order and my money. On the day of the funeral - NO FLOWERS. I called the company and was told repeatedly how sorry they were but that the "local" florist could not fulfil the order and so NO FLOWERS were sent to the furneral service. THIS COMPANY SUCKS. THEY TAKE YOUR ORDER AND RIP YOU OFF. $#*!-HOLE PEOPLE.

I had ordered flowers to be sent to my boyfriend as today was the anniversary of his brothers death and he had to work. I searched for a site that would deliver on a Sunday. Well at 8pm I had to ask my boyfriend if he had gotten a delivery because I heard nothing about it. He was completely confused as to what I was talking about. I contacted the 24 hour chat and they offered me 20% off and the delivery tomorrow. NO WAY! The anniversary of his death was TODAY, not tomorrow... plus, the location he was working was a fill in shift so they would have been delivered to the wrong place as he doesn't normally work there. They told me I would be refunded, but I was just very disappointed they didn't even call me to let me know they couldn't fill the order. I would have contacted something else to be delivered to him today if that was the case. Just disappointed and making a rough day already harder.

I decided to place an order to surprise my mother for her birthday and I was disappointed with the out come. They charged me for a bouquet but I didn't get a confirmation code because I apparently didn't have money in my card, when I go check my bank statements is still there but when I call they say they have no records of it and nothing adds up to what I got charged for. Ridiculous, I got roses in a local shop.

I made an order 2 days prior to date and flowers weren't delivered. I could not use the order number to look it up through the automatic phone system. I talked to a rep and she said it is on the local florist. I don't have any information on the local florist, and I paid sendflowers.com. I wouldn't use this company.

Edit: I left a testimonial here https://www.sendflowers.com/share-testimonial.htm explaining exactly what happened. Sendflowers.com just called me and offered a partial discount and are still delivering the flowers late. I may update again with photo once delivered.

Edit 2: Added photo of flowers, they were delivered 3 days late. Going to leave the 1 star because their website has "Same day delivery" plastered all over it and my delivery location was not rural at all.

My co-worker hasn't received the plant yet, so I'll update when I hear how it went. But the ordering process was very dishonest. It added a code for free delivery, but when I hit 'confirm order' it bumped me back to the shopping cart. When I went through the entire payment process AGAIN it no longer had the free delivery. When I asked about this they sent cut and paste emails saying a bunch of gobldy gook about how their 'sales' and carts work. AFTER I SENT PHOTOS OF EACH PAYMENT PAGE one w/ the discount one w/out! They didn't even acknowledge they knew what I was talking about! They just picked a cut and paste and sent. SEVERAL TIMES. I paid $85 for a $6 plant to be delivered and you can't afford a human to read my message?! Never using this bot-run site again.

Don't ever use these guys. Still waiting for delivery 4 days later. They kept saying it was delivered and it never was. I was out on hold 5 times the longest was 35 minutes before I hung up. Quit telling me you can't get hold of the florist. That's your job!

I was trying to send a sympathy flowering basket to some dear friends. I picked a basket that was supposed to contain chrysanthemums, daisies, begonias, African Violet, roses and ivy.(see photo from send flowers website). The arrangement my friends received did not contain one flowering plant.(see photo). Will never use send flowers again.

I ordered "same day" flowers for my sister in-law who's father passed away. That was on Friday before 3pm, as their guidelines state an order placed before that time can be delivered the same day. I waited a couple hours to receive an email with the delivery news & nothing so I reached out to customer service via chat where they informed me residential deliveries are until 6pm I still had a couple hours so I waited. I reached out again and received an automated email saying to rest assured my order was sent to be delivered and they were going to contact the local florist to confirm delivery. Any who they were not delivered. I figured maybe Saturday morning? Nothing. Monday I received the same automated responses as Friday that they were still waiting for the local florist to confirm delivery. Today is Tuesday and I've finally had it and asked for my refund. Customer service is very responsive email wise so that's the only positive thing I can say about this website. I will update if I have issues with my refund.

My order was supposed to be delivered by 6pm. I called customer service at 7 because I hadn't received confirmation of delivery. The rep told me she received confirmation of delivery at 3:30. After I hung-up, the rep decides to send me a confirmation of delivery. I called the person who was supposed to receive the flowers. Still no flowers. Flowers arrive around 9:30pm, no type of card attached with sentiments, sitting by the door; delivery guy in his car. Contacted SendFlowers to complain. Stated they would check into it and call back. Still waiting.
