SendBlaster never sent an activation code after I purchased it in 2019. After hours of senseless chat, useless service tickets, and attempts to resolve the matter, I gave up and selected an alternative. Today, I decided I'd attempt to correct the problem... you guessed it. No response, no emails, another service ticket, more chat with a CSR who knew nothing and could do nothing. Same result as last year - I have been robbed. This is, in effect, a scam. Avoid SendBlaster like a coronavirus.
Sendblaster costs $129 which is very costlier to me. I found MorphyMail which is a similar software which has all features of sendblaster, but is 100% Free...
Why go for paid software like sendblaster, when the same features are available for free.?
Stay away rom these guys. I purchased 2 licenses and surprise surpise- when I go to register and activate the program I am told I already activated 1 of the 2 licenses. This was imposible as I purchased it traveling and only had a MAc Computer which it does not support unless you partition the hard disc. I refuse to use the other license. I prefer to lose the money than have such a sleezy company on my computer.
Purchased the Sendblaster 4 Pro version to discover that the responsive templates delivered with this version don't work on all HTC email clients from HTC one, pro one, HTC 9, to the latest HTC 10. I contacted Sendblaster support and explained that millions of users with a HTC phone are not able to see their responsive email designs, because of the design errors in it, but they responded that they are not planning to do anything to solve it. Now I design my own templates with the Zurb for email application and the emails work a 100% on any mobile device we tested!
I just dont get the other poor reviews. For this price its a great tool especially for smaller companies.
My in house email server has been blacklisted again. Do NOT spend the money on this program. And yes, I have a licensed copy.
This is the same company that operates SendBlasterSMTP.com and mass-emailer.com and a huge variety of other domain names all selling the mass email product (and so-called dedicated SMTP hosting) SendBlaster. They also have wstb.net.
I ordered an SMTP server to send out emails to my client list (about 20,000) with a dedicated IP address. I stated that this was my intention before making the purchase. But then I was told that I cannot use the server for mass emails because all emails go through a shared IP address; and so I requested a refund. This is the response I got:
After speaking with my partners and reviewing emails and chats we still feel we have supplied a service as advertised. In addition we do not offer refunds for mail server packages. The reason is any server customer
Could use the service, send out tons of email and then request a refund.
As I see it, you are asking that we allow an open relay server. This would cause any server to be blacklisted.
It is just not allowed and to have a different sender as the mail server domain name would cause a high percentage of your emails to end in the junk folder.
This is also the reason why we suggested a mailing domain to match closely with yours. This was also confirmed by your company as the domain to setup.
It has been our business model to try and please every client but we have also learned that is not possible. Any negative advertising on your
Part is up to you. Where we live its a free country and as long as what you present it true. False or misleading statement will be vigorously defended by our legal counsel.
The mail server will remain available for your usage for the remaining year from the date of purchase.
Sincerely
Mark T
Answer: In case you want to send directly from it - yes. In case of any SMTP server - no.
Answer: SendBlaster's support is ridiculous. I would recommend a reliable vendor.
Answer: It's a desktop mailing software and doesnt contain any services, addresses etc., so of course it is legal.
Answer: Its a mail tool, for bulk mails - what shouldn't be possible there?
