I ordered 3 sets of blinds. 2 orders were split blinds with one valence and 1 order was a single blind/valence. The single blind automatically gave you a valance that fit. Then when ordering the split blinds and instead of automatically providing a valence they requested the single valence size, and since no other instructions were provided regarding valence size we put in the size of the windows. And we couldn't place the order unless the valence size was put in.
When the order showed up the valence for the single blinds fit and the other two for the split blinds were too short, and couldn't be attached. Turns out they automattically added 2-1/4" to the length of the single blind valence and didn't add any length to the split blind valences which accounts for hardware and placement.
When trying to contact SB regarding the issue, the only way you can communicate with them is via text or email. And they said because we chose the length of the split blinds valence that they wouldn't replace it unless we paid for another set of valences. Obviously this made me angry. So in order to speak with someone, I called the company and chose to speak to a designer and after they heard my dilemma they sent me to customer service to speak to actually speak to a life person (which could have saved me hours if that was available in the first place).
At first she couldn't understand why I chose to put in a measurement and when I explained that you couldn't check out without choosing a length (which really shouldn't even be an option, plus they charge you extra for it) she let the managers know and they immediately addressed the problem, and resolved the issue with their website that same day.
I'm happy to say they also provided with all 3 replacement valences at no charge. Although i didn't get my back for asking for a single valence.
Very easy to order. I started to measure three times down the wall inner sides of my windows. I kept reading the directions because it was an expensive purchase for me. I thought about it all and I ordered the largest measurements of the inner window without adding or subtracting anything. They all fit perfectly. I ordered 2sets of top down bottom up and wish I had ordered all of them that way. My husband and I love them. He had painted that room and my old cellular shades needed updated.

After sending a couple of pics to Customer Service they quickly notified me they would be sending a replacement. It arrived today in great shape. All in all, customer service did not disappoint. Can't ask for anymore than that.
Three blinds arrived 72 inches long instead of 52 inches long. They corrected that with a new order and let us change our width on the blinds. They were responsive, respectful and easy to work with.

I got the run around when I tried to find out how to fix the issue with the blind I ordered. I never got a satisfactory answer and I am now stuck with a blind that does not fit my door.
I've always wanted to try zebra shades! So when I saw my neighbors that had some, I knew I had to try them! I just love mine! I love the color I chose, and I love how they give just enough light when they're on the filter side. And I also love how they darken the room too. I have to say though, they were a little difficult to install, but once we got the hang of it, it wasn't that bad.

Answer: Semi scam. They do not honor 3 yr warranty. My claim, 6418454 was literally IGNORED with non response.
Answer: They won't accept returns. I ordered shades, which the pictures from their website clear show have a hidden bracket in the same color as the shade. We got bright white brackets that curl around the front of the shade and will be very visible to everyone in the room. They will look like a cheap knockoff.
Answer: I ordered on line from Home Depot. Better quality that Select's private label brand and quick delivery. I received perfect quality shades in 8 days. Select kept delaying and was up to 3 months delivery and counting when I finally was able to cancel.
