The price was great for the roller blinds. I ordered the roller blinds in different colors and different openness of 3% and 5%. I ordered the inide mount, but just be mindful when mounting these. The head of the screws it comes with are very big so unless you have perfect windows that are 100% symmetrical, if the screw doesn't go exactly in horizontally and shifts a bit, then the top piece that covers the roller won't fit. Also, the blinds still allow a lot of light in, in case you want it completely dark. I tried looking up a video for my specific blind installation but was unable to find the one I needed. I looked at others and then had to figure it out on my own.

This is one of five orders I have placed with Select Blinds. Their products and customer service are top notch.
I placed my order online. It was simple, quick and easy. About 2-1/2 weeks later, the blinds arrived. They were very well packaged to prevent damage during shipment. Each blind was labeled to identify where it was to be installed. The instructions they provided left me with no questions. I did discover that one of the blinds I ordered was too wide. It was my error, but they took care of it. I have since placed two more orders with them.
The no drill system is how all blinds should be made. The ordering process is simple and smart- measuring guide is clear, able to write memos on which window each is for, and selection process is all easy. Colors are accurate on the website too! Packaging was great, labeled with memos, and installation was an absolute breeze. They are very sturdy. I will never order another type.

The website gives incorrect instructions to account for blind length. Due to the cordless design, you really need an additional 5 or 7 inches of length to be able to change the orientation of the blinds. The instructions to measure never mention or account for this.
Website was easy to navigate and it was nice to have different options to customize exactly to our needs but when it came to the remote control for our blind, we figured the blind itself would have the option of closing and opening since the remote was optional. We didn't buy the remote and It was our mistake but I feel there should be a little note when you are shopping stating that a remote control is necessary if you are getting the motorized option. I ended up having to call customer service and order the remote by itself, which was no longer on sale like we saw when we were buying our blinds. Lesson learned and we are really happy with our blinds, they made a whole world of difference in our bedroom, and having them motorized feels so luxurious and zen!

We bought shades from Select Blinds 12 years ago. No problem, then.
A few years ago, we had three encounters with that company. In two instances, they screwed up a few things, indicating that their customer service had worsened.
Recently, we needed to replace some of the old shades we bought 12 years ago. We created a new order using the dimensions from the original order. Two of the shades came about 6" too short. My take was that screw-ups happen, so I took two pictures and, with a few lines of problem description, sent an email to customer service.
I received a response not signed by anyone by name, but that anonymous person requested me to go through a troublesome procedure, including creating an account and taking a video so they could verify that I was not lying.
That anonymous bureaucrat addressed me by my first name. It is a known way of intimidating a person. Calling a stranger by their first name manifests that the unknown customer service individual is the person with the authority, and the customer is like a child. Offended by that patronizing, I rejected it on the principle. They screwed it up; I am an unsatisfied customer and want the product replaced with the one I paid for.
Following that, I received four emails suggesting that I might be lying or could make an error in making measurements. All emails used formally proper phrases but were demeaning in the message. One could easily notice that the anonymous individual who harassed me, instead of addressing the problem, used templates Select Blinds has for handling customers' complaints. As the old saying goes, the fish starts rotting from the head. The anonymous individual who tried to put the burden of their mistake on me was following the directions from the top.
To summarize, our recent three encounters with Select Blinds caused problems that their customer service could not resolve to our satisfaction. On our last purchase, instead of correcting their mistake quickly, they put a lot of time and effort into harassing their long-time customer.
It was our last purchase at Select Blinds. We want their other potential clients to know about our experience before placing the order.

Blinds are great. I made a mistake selecting inside blinds versus outside…so part of my order is useless. The blinds I did measure correctly are great.
I like that the website is user friendly and also liked the samples. The shades came in well labeled and packaged and they were easy to install.
Ordered for a CHRISTMAS PRESENT and was very pleased with the quality and workmanship. They look Beautiful at the windows and provide privacy and allows just the right amount of filtering light
I would suggest that people measuring for their blinds keep in mind that the company makes the blinds half an inch narrower than what you provide as a width. If you have curtains that doesn't matter. If you don't have curtains then there will be a gap large enough for light to come thru between each side of the blind and the window frame. This is not good if you bought black out blinds.
Otherwise, we like the blinds.
Made installation difficult—glad I ordered blinds 1-2 inches longer.
I called customer support to notify them the shades looked like they had been used. Sent pictures of the defects and they said they would check with QC and follow up with a resolution the next day. I NEVER heard back from them. Super dissatisfied with the product and lack of follow thru.

I'm a repeat customer. It continues to be an easy process and highly recommend it.
Answer: Semi scam. They do not honor 3 yr warranty. My claim, 6418454 was literally IGNORED with non response.
Answer: They won't accept returns. I ordered shades, which the pictures from their website clear show have a hidden bracket in the same color as the shade. We got bright white brackets that curl around the front of the shade and will be very visible to everyone in the room. They will look like a cheap knockoff.
Answer: I ordered on line from Home Depot. Better quality that Select's private label brand and quick delivery. I received perfect quality shades in 8 days. Select kept delaying and was up to 3 months delivery and counting when I finally was able to cancel.
