Easy to order - everything is well layed out and explained.
All I did was measure, twice, wrote everything down and competed my on the computer.
Ordered 6 and 1 was damaged. After sending photos, I had to wait a week for approval to get replacement, before they would remake and ship. Blinds don't close completely flat. Headrail now flat box with no detail. Cracked wands. Would not order these again.

Easy installation, blocks the right amount of sun, I can't figure out how to get the blind to go up and stay, the clip doesn't seem to work if that is what is supposed to lock it in place.
The sales rep was extremely helpful in getting the measurement of the blinds correct and sending samples to match up to what we have. They look great and were easy to install.
I've now bought five zebra blinds from Select Blinds. The first two pairs, purchased several years ago, were the pull down type (no cord, no remote) and I installed them myself with the help of my teenage daughter. We are pretty handy, but they were a bit of a pain as far as installation goes due to trouble with snapping them in and the instructions not being fantastic. The next two blinds that I bought were the kind with the remote control. I was doing a remodel at the time and had a contractor install them. My only complaint with the remote is that they are kind of loud, hard to get exactly where you want them, and it takes a while to get them to go up and down as opposed to the kind you just pull down. I honestly don't think it's worth the extra money for the remote control. If you can just go with the kind that you pull down with your hand, I would go for that. The final blind that I purchased was a pull down and my daughter and I installed it ourselves. First, I have to say that the snap-in installation was 100 times better than the blinds I purchased several years ago. They have made incredible improvements in that respect. But, the hardware that came with the blinds consisted of screws with a slot rather than Phillips head opening AND NO DRYWALL ANCHORS! This one little thing caused the installation process to take at least an hour longer than necessary. We ended up trashing the screws that were included, patching all the unnecessary holes we created, and digging into our toolbox for Phillips head screws with anchors.
Next time I would challenge Select Blinds to install the blinds that you are sending your customers with the exact hardware that you send us. I think if you had to do this you would come up with a better system.

Answer: Semi scam. They do not honor 3 yr warranty. My claim, 6418454 was literally IGNORED with non response.
Answer: They won't accept returns. I ordered shades, which the pictures from their website clear show have a hidden bracket in the same color as the shade. We got bright white brackets that curl around the front of the shade and will be very visible to everyone in the room. They will look like a cheap knockoff.
Answer: I ordered on line from Home Depot. Better quality that Select's private label brand and quick delivery. I received perfect quality shades in 8 days. Select kept delaying and was up to 3 months delivery and counting when I finally was able to cancel.
