Select Blinds makes it easy to choose and order custom blinds. Our order arrived in specified time frame. Contacting the company with questions was met with real live representatives answering the phones in a language I could easily communicate and understand. Setting up the remote for the blinds was relatively quick once we recharged the batteries. Installation was smooth by following the directions. I recommend this company and we are considering ordering more blinds for our cabin through Select Blinds.
I'm happy with our blinds purchase. The brown is a great match to mid tone wood, so that is fantastic. I don't love the white stripe along the cornice board, but that is my own fault for paying attention at the time of purchase. I did have to google install instructions as the instructions sent weren't super clear.

Taking out a star for two reasons:
1. Wasn't given an opton to choose a side for the tilter while ordering.
2. one set came with flash install clips, and the second one with side brackets. Pretty sloppy order execution.

Ordering was easy. The samples came and we were able to make our decision. Follow the guidelines for measurement. Put in the order. They were delivered in a timely manner. Ording to the Installation instructions it made it very easy for my husband and I to put them in and operate the remotes. Highly recommend.

I ordered these blinds to replace a set (one of five) I bought here eight years ago, because a plastic part of the threading system had broken, and clearly couldn't be fixed. Up until then, all five blinds had worked beautifully, and the other four still are, so clearly very good value.
The first problem I found was that the off-white color I had ordered before was no longer available. I took a chance on a near match, since this blind can be in a window away from the others. When it arrived, I was disappointed to find that it couldn't be installed using the old hardware; but I installed the old ones, and I could make the effort this time.
But what I couldn't have known before I ordered is that this blind is obviously made by a different manufacturer, and the operation is nowhere near as smooth as the other four--which still work perfectly, every time. The thread mechanism is much more stiff, and the blind tends to easily raise and lower unevenly. Not good.

The shade works very well at blocking out light. Moves up and down easily.
Answer: Semi scam. They do not honor 3 yr warranty. My claim, 6418454 was literally IGNORED with non response.
Answer: They won't accept returns. I ordered shades, which the pictures from their website clear show have a hidden bracket in the same color as the shade. We got bright white brackets that curl around the front of the shade and will be very visible to everyone in the room. They will look like a cheap knockoff.
Answer: I ordered on line from Home Depot. Better quality that Select's private label brand and quick delivery. I received perfect quality shades in 8 days. Select kept delaying and was up to 3 months delivery and counting when I finally was able to cancel.
