I reached out after I had placed my order, but before it was in process and asked if I could change the measurements because I needed them tweaked, and I talked to someone who said they thought that they could do that and when my blinds got here they were the wrong size. I asked them to let me know if they couldn't change it and no one ever let me know so I assumed they were going to come like we talked about but when they got here, they were the original measurements and didn't fit my window. I have bought quite a few blinds from select blinds and I've always had a good experience, but this experience definitely Was disappointing.

The original cellular shades I purchased from SelectBlinds failed within 7 years of use. The glue that was keeping the individual cells together started to fail until the whole shade ripped apart into various sections. So this year I purchased replacement shades and what I received seemed slightly cheaper made, e.g. lighter weight, and the cells are less aesthetically pleasing as they don't have a texture to them that the previous ones did. Installation was simple. If the life expectancy of cellular shades from SelectBlinds is only 7 years, then I would continue to lower my review... Maybe I just got unlucky with the first one. Time will tell!

I received 2 custom blinds for my mother's new condo. One, with the push button wand was pretty easy and installed quickly. The second was a remote control blackout blind which was a bit of trial and error to get working. I followed the instructions, ended up calling customer support. I am quite handy. I feel for someone who is not as handy. Once functional they are both very nice. Worth the money and time to install.
The price differences from one day to the next are sometimes extreme and confusing. I'd like a consistent (best) price so I can provide the same for my clientele. We were back to buy a different style of blind in addition to buying a similar blind that we had previouly ordered and liked very much.
We measured incorrectly, but had purchased the FIT Guarantee. Customer service guided us through reordering and the outcome this time was terrific! Will continue to order from Select Blinds for replacements that we need.

My blinds were supposed to be room darkening but they are not. They fit perfectly, just wish the room would be darker in the morning.

Answer: Semi scam. They do not honor 3 yr warranty. My claim, 6418454 was literally IGNORED with non response.
Answer: They won't accept returns. I ordered shades, which the pictures from their website clear show have a hidden bracket in the same color as the shade. We got bright white brackets that curl around the front of the shade and will be very visible to everyone in the room. They will look like a cheap knockoff.
Answer: I ordered on line from Home Depot. Better quality that Select's private label brand and quick delivery. I received perfect quality shades in 8 days. Select kept delaying and was up to 3 months delivery and counting when I finally was able to cancel.
