We ordered motorized name brand celluar shades from a big box store for our living/dining room last spring. While we eventually received them and were happy with the product, communication was nonexistent, delivery was severely delayed (2 plus months) and when there was a problem with one blind we were on our own in terms of resolving the issue directly with the manufacturer. We loved the blinds though and wanted them throughout the house. Select blinds had the same product with the same fabric, was slightly less than the sale price at the box store, kept us updated on the status of our order, and had the order on the way to us in about one week.
The overall online process was great. Service was good, and product was delivered. However, there were no mounting brackets in the initial package and have had difficult time getting the issue resolved so we can actually hang the blinds.

Needed some blackout blinds and the option of no hassle to install was really good, little slow on shipping but came in and fit perfect and look really good.
We ordered quite a few samples to narrow down our selections, the whole process was seamless and our roller shades are GREAT quality, very durable, look very modern and fit seamlessly!
I purchased the louvre shades and they close shut only upwards. While it is clearly a mistake on the part of SelectBlinds (the frame and hinges make it certain that it was hung correctly), they will not take responsibility for the mistake. I am very dissatisfied!

Measuring, ordering, and installing were all very easy. The blinds look amazing!
It was frustrating on the beginning because the were stuck at the Mexican border. Once they got through customs all has been great.
We ordered blinds on 11/21 after a recommendation from a neighbor without fully looking into the company. We had an expected shipping date of 12/04 and needed the blinds by 12/19. After finding on their site that the blinds were still not being made as of 12/08 I tried to contact someone. You cannot speak to a person in customer service - it is only an automated system on the phone, online chat or text message system. On 12/08 I was told "we sent your request to the facility and will update you" via chat and told nothing else. On 12/10, I reached out again via chat and text. I never received a response via text. On chat I was told that the "order was shipped to the facility on 12/10" after inquiring what that meant exactly as I had placed the order on 11/21, I was told that "actually our Fraud System declined your order, so it is currently pending.Unfortunately, there is no way to resubmit the order for approval. If you still wish to proceed, you will need to call your bank and place a new order." I explained that the $3400 charge was deducted from my bank and how would I get my money back if they were not going to approve my order or even make my blinds. At this the response was "I'm really sorry for this experience you had with us, you can reach out to your bank about this." I had to go through my bank to submit a fraud claim on my end to get the money back since they would not be sending me an order but were keeping my money. It was a huge headache. I reached out asking if they would do a refund request through their system never received a response. I haven't heard from the company since and ironically received an automated text to review my order! After this happened I found that on Reddit they have thread after thread of people saying to avoid this company at all costs. Basically if you have a small order and everything goes well then it's fine - cheaper quality for cheaper price. But if you have a hiccup it's a nightmare.

The ordering process was so easy, even tells you how to measure to ensure you order the correct size. All of the options are so easy to choose from. Selectblinds kept us updated anytime our order status changed and when we did get the blinds they were so easy to install I really didnt even need the instructions. They're very straight forward. They look great and really add to the rooms they've been installed in, feels like value added to our home.
I had a terrible experience with these shades. Here is a summary of the issues I encountered:
1. Late Delivery: My order did not ship on time and arrived well past the expected delivery date.
2. Poor Quality Installation Brackets: The installation brackets are no longer made of metal and easily crack. I had to purchase compatible metal brackets separately on Amazon, which added unexpected costs to the project.
3. Color Mismatch: The bottom and top bars of the blinds do not match the fabric color. I ordered white blinds, but the bottom bar is brown, which looks unattractive.
4. Lack of Privacy: When the blinds are fully lowered, the zebra stripes remain open, providing no privacy. I have to raise the blinds slightly to achieve privacy, but this leaves a gap at the bottom where people can see in.
5. Unresponsive Customer Support: I have been in contact with customer support to resolve these issues, but it takes them a week to respond to each message. Despite my efforts, none of these problems have been resolved to date.

SelectBlinds has been our go to plantation shutter company for several years now, slowly adding to each room. Very easy ordering system, typically quick delivery and most of all super easy to intall in only a few minutes. Always impressed each time we install a new shutter, so easy and look terrific.
My neighbor's dog ate through my blind, so needed to get a new one quickly. Very easy to re-order and the shipment came quickly and I'm able to install the blind by myself within a couple minutes. I looked at a lot of blinds companies when deciding to remodel my house and so many were insanely expensive. I found the price and quality at blinds was perfect for what I needed.
The entire process from the app to the delivery and install was an easy experience. The pricing is competitive as well
We have ordered a lot of blinds here and have always been happy with the service and quality. This time we ordered the no drill blinds though. We ordered asphalt gray (got samples first). When ordering the frames, there is only the choice of gray. Ordered that thinking they would match the blinds. They are very pale gray while the blinds are very dark. Same with the brown ones we got but not as different as the gray. Kind of our fault too, but would think they would offer matching colors because what we got looks completely wrong together. We are going to paint them, but want others to be aware. We will probably order again, but will be more careful of the colors in the future.

The blinds are great but one track does not work. I reached out to customer service and they had me send a video and have not heard back yet and did jot receive replacement. Very disappointed. You have to wait on hold for an hour and then no one helps you. I am hoping to get a resolution on this. We have been customers for years and referred many friends and family.
I had a great experience with ordering Roman Shades. I selected the motarized option with no drill hanging. It was easy to install, with just myself, and no additional tools needed. Highly recommend. Love the motorized option of being able to open and shut the blinds.

Answer: Semi scam. They do not honor 3 yr warranty. My claim, 6418454 was literally IGNORED with non response.
Answer: They won't accept returns. I ordered shades, which the pictures from their website clear show have a hidden bracket in the same color as the shade. We got bright white brackets that curl around the front of the shade and will be very visible to everyone in the room. They will look like a cheap knockoff.
Answer: I ordered on line from Home Depot. Better quality that Select's private label brand and quick delivery. I received perfect quality shades in 8 days. Select kept delaying and was up to 3 months delivery and counting when I finally was able to cancel.
