Tiny windows

Happy with the pleated shade

The pleated shade we ordered fits perfectly and looks very nice. My only complaint is with the website: every time I searched for pleated shades, it seemed to take me to a different spot, and I had to call to get help in finding what I was looking for for. Otherwise, I'm happy with Selection Blinds.

There are away too many choices of different kinds of lines with no quick way to compare their different features. It takes a long time to do comparative shopping on your website. For the vast amount of different types of blinds, there are shockingly few color choices available. I ordered every shade of brown you had as a sample, and none of them were the right fit.

Happy with the product, selection and pricing. Not happy with delivery communications. After an email notifying that the product has shipped, receipt takes nearly a month with no further communication. I could have walked to the factory to pick them up in that time. Just at the point when you think you should complain, they arrive. Maybe this is in the shipper, but I'm not buying from the shipper.

Very nice shades

We have 3 oddly shaped windows in our vacation home and I had no clue how we'd deal with dressing them. I also didn't want to spend thousands with the local blinds company so decided to give these a try. We already had curtains on a sliding glass door so I needed to match them. I was sent some samples and chose the one I thought was closest and ordered blackout Roman shades. My husband installed them last weekend. I was expecting to hear a lot of cursing during the process but surprisingly, they went up easily and they look awesome! The first night with them was glorious because it was a full moon and the shade totally blocked all the moonlight from hitting our eyes right underneath the window. They're easy to raise and lower and have a custom look without the high price. Very pleased with this purchase.

After contacting a few local stores and the big box home improvement retailers we decided to take advantage of the sale offerings of Select Blinds.
The price was really great on the Levelor blinds we selected and our order got shipped really quickly.
I think they were delivered about 4 days after ordering! The fit was precise and as ordered.
All the blinds came packaged very securely and arrived in exceptional condition.
We have one more large patio covering needed and if the price is right I'll order from Select Blinds again,

Don't buy from them

Had to file a BBB complaint. They sent blinds 2" smaller than what I ordered and are claiming it is acceptable, while refusing to refund my money.

Ridiculous

For how much you spend, you would expect decent customer service. My blinds are not working correctly. I've called MULTIPLE times. Never get an answer. Spoke to someone on the chat and I still haven't heard back from them. Don't waste your money.

We ordered a roller blind to go on a full glass door. The shopping experience was good and it was easy to get samples and select colors.

Once we got the blind though we were left disappointed. What we found was:

1) The sample looked good but in the full blind it did not have the visual effect we expected. This was more our fault in material and color selection so can't fault SelectBlinds here.

2) The header does not fit flush against the door we have it installed on. There is a good 1/2" gap which is ugly and causes the blind to hang away from the door rather that against it.

3) Even though I followed the measurement instructions the blind came in about an 1" less wide that I expected. Select blinds recommend 1" overlap from glass to blind edge for each side in the measurement. What I got was a 1/2" overlap so the blind was an 1" narrower than expected. The header came in at the measured size. This should be explained better in the instructions that the header is an inch wider than the blind and that our measurements are for that and not the actual blind. If that is not the case then SelectBlinds manufactured this wrong.

Looks Good But Has Some Problems

The written and video instructions are inadequate making install more difficult than it should be. The plastic slides which secure the shade in the end brackets tend to slip out which required tape to ensure they stay in place. The shade works well and looks good on our front door but concern is longevity.
