I can always find deals on Seatgeek at prices often lower than box office. The site is very easy to use and the rating system helps me find the best deals.
Was able to find tickets for about $15 below face value, they were available immediately within the app, and had zero issues using the digital tickets to get into the event!
Horrible service hidden fees that they don't tell you about and also no refunds and u can't sell back so u are just out of money if u don't use tickets
Seats are wonderful and everything is great. I guess really the only issue would be service fees. Sometimes they are way too high. I guess we have to pay the price.
Can be better, but what they need is innovation in order to ensure that we are satisfied and they can open few other things which can give relief to the clients
After getting through and picking my seats, the fees seemed to be a bit higher than I expected. But I guess for the service it is what it is these days.
If I could give a zero rating I would. The customer service is AWFUL. I bought two tickets and they charged me for 4. There is no order confirmation for the two tickets I never purchased and they are unwilling to refund me so I am out $350! The told me to just sell them. I tried listing them on their site and it keeps giving me an error message about the date of birth format (which is prepopulated as MM/DAY/YEAR but then asks that I put in year-month-date). I still have no resolution and have 5 days to sell. THIS SITE IS HORRIBLE! SCAMMERS. I would upload my receipt confirmation but i was NEVER given one...
I heard about seatgeek the last time I was at a LA Dodgers game and downloaded the app. The prices were so cheap that it was hard to believe they were for real. I looked into the validity of the tickets. I looked up plenty of reviews, most of which were very discouraging. But I thought to myself, well there's only one way to find out if they're legit. So i decided to buy tickets (instant download) to the Dodgers vs Padres game yesterday, the same day of the game. I got 3 tickets to the game for $24, then minutes later got another ticket for $4 because my brother also decided to go to the game. So all in all I spend $28. Then I went on the dodgers website to buy a general parking ticket for $10. The drive there was iffy to me. I was thinking like no way i got these tickets that damn cheap but we'll see. I was just hoping they worked but in reality I was preparing myself to have lost $38 if they didn't. We got there and the tickets scanned smoothly and everything went well. It's crazy that it worked. I'm still in shock that I spent so little. The sun was bugging us for a while, but now I just know to pick a different section next time.
Good Afternoon,
I ordered tickets on Thursday November 9th for yesterday, Sunday 11/13. On 11/10 I was kindly notified by a customer service representative (David) that there was a technical error with my tickets. I was then offered a generous choice of a refund (+20%) or upgraded tickets. I chose the upgraded tickets. There was another issue, which resulted in me not getting those tickets, but a different set of tickets. At the end of the day, i did not receive my tickets until 3 hours before my event, despite purchasing multiple days in advance.
That being said, David, my customer service representative was very kind, attentive and accommodating throughout the process. We traded ~30 emails over the course of the weekend trying to get the situation sorted out, and I truly appreciate all of the effort he put in to remedy the situation. He did a great job "crisis managing" and turning what could have been a negative experience into as positive an experience as he could.
While I am frustrated with the situation that occurred, I do really appreciate the level of customer service and care that was shown to me through the process, which turned a negative situation into a positive one. I hope to continue utilizing Seatgeek for my ticket purchases in the future (though I hope the next time I do, it is less eventful!) And at the end of the day, my fiance and I truly enjoyed the event and the upgraded tickets (which played really well for me given it was a birthday gift for her!)
The app is clunky, verifying email never worked. Transferring season tickets is a pain. This should never be a stadium's primary ticketing service. Stick to why you were founded - scalpers.
Scalpers suck and the price for tickets is outrageous, then we get gouged for a "service" fee.
Selling tickets at 3 to 10 times their face value is bad enough.
At the very beginning, I purchased this ticket by mistake because of the unclear information on the website, it is on 12late night, so I made a phone the second day, and the officer told me some BS that it is a final purchase and I cannot do anything but selling it and she said it is easy to sell, and 4 days later I received the ticket and list them online, there said 20% charge on selling, ok, but with no assistant to sell! WTH, the worst experience ever! I will pay attention that avoid the SEATGEEK next time when booking tickets!
Hi Zhongping, thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience, and we're genuinely sorry it didn't live up to expectations. Across the secondary ticket market, all sales are final once they've been submitted and confirmed due to the natural volatility of the industry. Unfortunately, as stated in our Terms of Use, sales cannot be cancelled, reversed, or refunded once they've been submitted. Again, we apologize and hope there wasn't too much confusion about the process. Please feel free to follow up with us at hi@seatgeek.com if you have any other concerns.
STAY AWAY! I purchased hockey tickets through Seat Geek. They promise that the tickets will be DELIVERED in time for the performance or your money back. I NEVER received my tickets and I missed the game! A third party NOT associated with Seat Geek told me that my seats were available a few days prior to the game but the download failed and they were not able to deliver my tickets. Seat Geek refused to refund my money so I requested that the charge be reversed on my credit card. Seat Geek is now fighting me tooth and nail to keep that money even though they know their 3rd party source failed to deliver my tickets. Folks, this is NOT Ticketmaster. It isn't Stub Hub either. The other sellers DELIVER the tickets. STAY AWAY!
Hi Richard,
Thank you for the feedback. Apologies for any frustration regarding your order. We'd love to look into this for you further.
Can you kindly confirm your order number or email address associated with your order?
Looking forward,
CX Team at SeatGeek
This app was the best I have ever experienced. I can't wait to see Bill Murray! He's a legend!
It was helpful to show the venue's seating; made a big difference in purchasing tickets.
Love the app. It is very easy to use and navigate. My only problem is with trying to use discount codes. They rarely work and are super frustrating. Overall, I really like the service
I was able to get tickets at a reasonable after market price. I really like that I can see the fees up front. As long as the tickets are legit Ill be very happy.
Ripoff artists from the outset. Ordered orchestra area seats for a play and received cheaper balcony seats for the higher price. SeatGeek sold tickets for nearly 50 percent more than the venue ticket office and then added a 20+ percent charge on top of it. Hard to get customer service and when I did the only option was to TRY to sell the tickets for less than 1/2 the purchase price AND THEN PAY SEAT GEEK FOR THE PRIVELEGE (10 percent surcharge)!
This site is a scam. Tried buying two pairs of tickets. The charge goes through, then a few minutes later the site sends another email saying your tickets couldn't be confirmed. What a joke!
Ordered tickets and was promised tickets would be emailed at least 48 before show.
Tickets never came. Called and emailed and finally got a response, saying the tickets are now "will call" and to bring ID to venue and pick up tickets there. Waited in the freezing cold for 4 hours, and when we went into venue to pick up the tickets, they did not have ours! What a NIGHTMARE! Needless to say, we did NOT see concert! WILL NEVER USE SEATGEEK AGAIN!
Hey Jennifer, thank you for sharing your feedback. This situation was definitely not OK, and we appreciate that you reached out to us on it.
We are so disappointed that your seller did not get you into the venue through Will Call as promised. This is absolutely the worst-case kind of scenario for any buyer on the secondary market, and we take matters like these incredibly seriously. Issues like these can and do result in sellers no longer being permitted to list with our service, so we will be reviewing this situation carefully and taking this matter up with the seller of your tickets.
Since you purchased through SeatGeek, your order was covered per the terms of our Buyer Guarantee. Reviewing our records, it looks like you've previously reached out to us and we have already gotten you a resolution based on that guarantee. Even so, we really do understand that this is a hugely upsetting situation. If you ever do consider giving our service another try, we'd love to know so that we can make sure your next experience with us is the very best possible. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if there is ever anything we can do to assist.

Answer: Shana is correct, Seat Geek takes no responsibility for tickets and have no customer service and will not return calls if things do not work out Stub Hub is much better
Answer: Hi Beth, Welcome to SeatGeek! In order to maintain our marketplace we do have fees, but we'll always show you a thorough price breakdown of your order before you can checkout. Plus, we've got options so you can actually search for tickets and see the fees included in the price from the get-go. Simply use the filter "Prices with fees" when searching for listings. You can read more about that here: https://support.seatgeek.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036685293 I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions-- Best wishes, SeatGeek CX Team
