Very disappointing!
Potential FRAUD? Don't use RateYourSeats to purchase tickets! I purchased tickets last night to a concert using this company (in hopes to surprise my wife since she likes this particular singer); It sent me a link via text to my phone. When I hit the link it sent me to SeatGeek.com to get the tickets. Then it asked me to sign-in or register with SeatGeek; So I did and it let me in (so far so good), but then and it came back stating, "This Transfer was declined." What the heck? So, I downloaded the SeatGeek App, and logged-in; it let me in as well. The app showed me I have two tickets to accept, so I did, and it stated, "Failed to Accept Tickets." I tried using the PC to log-in to SeatGeek.com instead of the phone, and it let me in, but then that stated, "Cannot accept transfer, please verify your account to accept this ticket." I did that and logged in multiple times, and it let me in each time, but to no avail. I then called the help line *******569, but, someone from another planet answered the call and did their very best to go round in circles to tire you into frustration (as trained to do so). Bottom line the individual supervisor with the heavy accent stated he could not help and could not refund my money; Go figure! I had to call the credit card company to report this as a potential fraud and dispute this ordeal. Are all these "ticket RESALE" companies are bogus? There should be a law against these types of transactions.
We bought EDC Tickets before covid 19 hit and the event has been postponed 4 times. I wish I could get the money back since 2019 but seat geek refused, fine. I would have gotten the refund though ticket master. We have been waiting for over 2 years. We moved during those period. We did upgraded the shipping address in their system as the direction said. Finally the tickets sent out without any notification. Got email from UPS that the package will be over night to the old house. Nothing I could have done at that point. I called UPS next day and let them know. They held the package on their facility and told us that we could pick it up with in 5 days, but we were on a trip and would be back on time. The only person that can call and rerouted the package is seat geek, so I call seat geek. The man said no worry he'll take care of it. I told him the situation that if only seat geek call UPS, they'll rerouted the package to the right address. 2 weeks later, nothing. I called back again and again. Each call took over an hour on hold. They always said Oh no worry, but NOTHING ever get done what so ever! Last call, said thing happened again. On we don't now blah blah blah. The even will happen in 5 days and the cost me double to book it now and I still haven't heard anything about my tickets. I don't think I'll ever see the tickets and here goes my 1000$ that I will never get to see again. The fee alone is 200$ This site feel like a scam to me at this point. I'll never ever ever using this site again in a million year and tell all my friends not to ever trust this site. Horrible horrible service.
I loved being able to find great seats in the perfect spot, and getting those tickets at a great price! Then just 'scan and go' when I hit the gates of the stadium. SO EASY!
Love that I can look for tickets a few hours before the event - print them up and go. My only complaint would be that it doesn't show the seat number until you print them up.
Bought Luke Bryan tickets on the app and the process was so easy. The fees are included in the ticket price so there are no surprises. SeatGeek has definitely become my go to for events

I listed two Game 5 Warriors vs. Cavs tickets when I was forced to go out of town on business. I had previously sold tickets on site without issue. This time, I attempted to list tickets for market value, approximately $1,250, and was rejected. The site stated to put in a price under or equal to $1,000.00.
I contacted customer service and only got a response on my third attempt, by which time I had lost a full sale date. I was contacted by customer service with some excuse about how "new" the resale marketplace was and that they could not support sale prices of over $1,000.00. I promptly checked other prices and found OVER 50 SEATGEEK EXCLUSIVE LISTINGS for over $1,000.00 to the same game!
I contacted customer service via email to ask about this inconsistency and, about a week later, have yet to receive a response.
Long story short, I lost out on prime ticket sale time, got an unsatisfactory response and ended up eating $250 per ticket because they did not sell until hours before the event. Had I simply used one of their competitors, which I will now do, I have little doubt that the tickets would have timely sold.
Terrible experience and feel avoided/lied to.
I personally like actual tickets. Definitely miss them being mail to me. Ticket price wise I been finding cheaper tickets in the same sections in different sites.
Prices are always affordable and makes ticket buying much easier! I never had a bad experience with seatgeek and plan to always use it when buying tickets!
Straight forward pricing and easy to use. Will purchase through site again. Immediately got conformation email and was out the door on my way to the stadium
I find it very difficult to not consider 33% surcharges usurious in nature. The tickets were good and reasonably priced and the system was easy to use.
Obnoxious service fees, almost made it not worth it to buy the ticket, I seriously considered just abandoning the idea. $17 for a $34 ticket? Truly abhorrent.
Hi, I recall it being advertised that SeatGeek added no additional sales fees. I see thats no longer true and that policy shift should get communicated robustly.
Fees lower than the dominant ticket agency brought me to SeatGeek. Ticket process only takes a few seconds and you have the option of printing the tickets.
SeatGeek was great. Found me better seats for cheaper, along with better cheaper parking. Would definitely recommend checking it out for any events you have coming up!
They show tremendous tenacity in refusal to ever refund monies.initially saying only when cancelled. But when cancelled.then they say they have right to refuse refund at their discretion
Recently, I purchased 2 tickets for an MLB game. I have used SeatGeek in the past without issues. This time, the tickets that I purchased for 4/22/2023 were dated 4/21/2023 when the SeatGeek receipt of purchase was finally received. I contacted SeatGeek for an explanation of why my final purchase was dated for a game that had already started (forget about the fact that I live over an hour away from the MLB game location). I communicated my concerns via email and eChat with someone (name withheld) at SeatGeek who managed to mention, more than once, their policy regarding all sales being final with no refunds given. They could not explain why the date on my tickets were different than the date that I had selected to attend the MLB game. They also could not provide any evidence that I ordered incorrectly. Lastly, they would not confirm that their software program had not had a "glitch" in the ordering process. They did, however, complete my order with the incorrect date their system assigned to it and then proceeded to bill my credit card for the inappropriately dated tickets that I never used. Due to these facts, I will never use SeatGeek again.
If I could give 0 stars I would. They did not help at all when I didn't receive my tickets. The also will not refund me. DO NOT purchase from seatgeek.
Buying tickets through Seat Geek is crazy easy! Find you seats and press a couple of buttons! Love, love, love this app! I tell all I know in search of awesome ticket deals to get on Seat Geek.
I recently bought tickets through seatgeek for some local mariners games. BOTH set of tickets didn't work... I went through customer support and promised a refund and yet I NEVER saw them... DONT BUY TICKETS WITH THESE JOKES
