I accidentally lost a festival wristband from an order of three and contacted SeatGeek to help me resolve the matter together with the seller (and original wristband buyer).
The festival would issue a replacement wristband if the original buyer would just contact them and plan a pick up at Will Call.
While SeatGeeks individual support agents were all very polite and understanding on the phone, they kept promising a call back, or an email back once they had spoken with seller yet they never did.
Over the course of one week of trying to solve the matter, and 4 promises of follow ups that never happened, forcing me to call back for an update and talk with a new agent, they never solved the issue.
SeatGeek was unwilling to work with myself and seller to get a replacement. They were also unwilling to connect me with seller to resolve the matter.
It's my fault for losing the band in the first place.
But since there was a way to get it replaced I don't understand why SeatGeek would first give me the false, repeated impression of helping only to never really help.
I paid $240 in SeatGeek fees for these wristbands. Besides wristband authentication, I a lot more service and I'd also expect a resolution on such a simple (and I'm sure not unusual) problem…
I love the site the only thing that would make it better is to see the price conversion. This way people in Canada will be able to know what it's actually going to cost
I love SeatGeek! Prices are reasonable and makes it easy and fun to browse events I'm interesting in attending. I don't think I'll be able to use another app but SeatGeek from now on!
I recently resold my Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks tickets on seatgeek…where I purchased them
You get the payout AFTER the event is completed.
The event for which I sold tickets was then rescheduled for March 2024…a year out…
I contacted SeatGeek and they said I can't have my payout until March 10th 2024.
Here's the deal….they got my money when I initially purchased my tickets.
The got the money from the repurchaser I sold to….now they are holding my payout for a year
SeatGeek is no better than Ticketmaster
Ticket buying and selling process is simple! I am not a wiz when it comes to an app, but Seat Geek has made it intuitive and simple enough for me to understand. Thank you!
I closed a browser without hitting submit and it executed the buy. No refunds but they are nice enough to say I can resell them. And take a $100 loss in the process due to fees. Never again.
I got The exact seats that were described in the description and didn't have to wait a few days from the event to receive my tickets they came rite into my app same day
SeatGeek is an awesome app to find concerts or events which I use all the time... the only reason why I gave a 4 star is because the fees are just way too high.
Everything worked well and fast. E-tickets and regular tickets available. Best of all, service fees are very reasonable and can be seen before purchasing.
SeatGeek has never failed to deliver nothing but the best service and experience when buying concert/event tickets. Super reliable and easy to work with!
Very difficult to purchase because of previous purchase and ridiculous requirement that I log in again. Just let the customer buy the tickets selected.
Got tickets to see bad friends for their Jun 1st Tampa show at Dukes. Tickets were sent through ticket master and were so easy to use and redeem. Definitely recommend!
Seemingly Fraudulent Business. On June 7th, right after hearing Messi was going to Miami, I bought tickets to see him on Seatgeek, to the closest team, Charlotte. The money came out of my account and the order status on my Seatgeek account page had the tickets listed as 'waiting for confirmation'. It was like that on my account page from June 7th until today, the day of the game. Under the Seatgeek FAQs it says 'confirmation' will come within 24 hours of the event. Today when it still had my tickets listed as 'waiting for confirmation' I called Seatgeek. After waiting on hold for 30+ minutes the guy tells me those tickets were canceled on June 8th. Obviously the tickets were canceled because the ticket prices went way up later the day I purchased them. I don't know how this isn't against the law but what're you going to do? That was my first and last experience with Seatgeek.
Incredibly easy, very fast, great experience overall. Would use it again. Tix were on my phone within the hour for a last minute decision to attend a local game
I arrived at Celtics game half hour early to find other people in my seats - not once but 4 times - these people had the same tickets as me. Very disappointed and actually very mad
Seat geek always makes buying affordable tickets a breeze! I love the fact that theyll instantly be on your phone and not have to deal with the hassle of waiting for them through your email.
After your competitor StubHub completely let it down and disrespected this customer, you guys have been awesome. Was able to get a ticket a day before the concert with no issue. Very happy here!
Hands down the best! I will never go to another ticket broker again. Received tickets timely, plenty of notifications telling me when to expect them and clear direc
Bought 2 tickets of a 145$ face value each for only 16.52 including fees in section 102 row 14 and I couldn't have been happier these are absolutely the best deal without getting them for free
Seat Geek beats the other big mean company by offering a fair price. Thank you Seat Geak, now I can save more of my money and still have great and fairly priced tickets.
Answer: Shana is correct, Seat Geek takes no responsibility for tickets and have no customer service and will not return calls if things do not work out Stub Hub is much better
Answer: Hi Beth, Welcome to SeatGeek! In order to maintain our marketplace we do have fees, but we'll always show you a thorough price breakdown of your order before you can checkout. Plus, we've got options so you can actually search for tickets and see the fees included in the price from the get-go. Simply use the filter "Prices with fees" when searching for listings. You can read more about that here: https://support.seatgeek.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036685293 I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions-- Best wishes, SeatGeek CX Team

Hi Mark, thanks for the feedback. We do want users to sign into their SeatGeek accounts if they've got them prior to placing an order so they can always make sure to know exactly where their order and event information and tickets wind up! Once you're signed in though, just stay signed into your account and you'll always have access to those tickets, or just make sure to sign in before buying!
If you have any questions about the process, we're happy to answer them! Just send our support team an email.
