Did you know that it costs more money to send me a digital ticket for a nice seat than for a seat three rows back? Does that make sense? Of course not. Why do service fees increase with the price of a ticket? Because seat geek is a stain on society.
I used their service for a Christmas event and the tickets never received them so contacted them and was assured that I would receive the tickets before the event. Blamed the delay on their vendor? Day before event I finally had to call to find out they could not fill my order after telling me all week they would and of course taking my money. Unfortunately now I cant find tickets anywhere because they are sold out. I have never had this happen with StubHub or Vivid or any other service.
Had previously purchased six tickets to the LA Clippers game on March 27. Have a friend joining us now so needed one more seat. The only tickets available in the same section and row were being sold as a set of 2-4. With our Canadian dollar being low, we didnt want to spend the extra to buy two tickets. The only single ticket was the row above, but the seat number didnt even show until ticket was purchased. One of our party of seven will have to sit by him/her self. To top it off, I forgot to add in the promo code Id received by email when making the purchase.
It was easy making a purchase off the SeatGeek app. However, getting the ticket was a challenge, as you had to go through third party websites in order to obtain them. Unfortunately Ticketmaster's website kept going down (that's who the tickets were from). Luckily I was able to finally bring the tickets up on my phone at the gate at the stadium after numerous attempts. Wasn't quite as easy as StubHub.
I went to purchase three tickets for tomorrow nights Yankee Nets game and entered all my credit card information. I received an email staring that I would receive a conformation email shortly. Several moments later I received an email stating the tickets were no longer available and that they had been sold. I called customer service to inquire and was again told the tickets were sold already. Keep in mind I already payed for them and I had recieved conformation about them. Ten minutes later I went onto StubHub and bought the same three tickets. Go home Seat Geek! I would never recommend you to anyone.
They don't send you tickets. You have to create an account in order to access your tickets. You can't print the tickets, which is problematic since I like a hard copy, just in case.
Wasted a great deal of time to access tickets, only to find out I had to send them to someone to be able to access them. In the end I had to create another email account that seatgeek would allow me to send them to and allow me to "access" my tickets.
Wow, I mean really a pain in the neck!
Do not purchase tickets from these people. They are crooks. I purchased a ticket from them for a football game in las vegas and could not get their app on my phone.Had to purchase another ticket from a reputable source. Now they will not refund my money. Seatgeek sucks I am going to the top if I need to
Seat Geek is the easiest and most economical way to buy tickets to pretty much anything. I love the ease of use and the ability to see where your seats will be located within the venue you are searching. Anytime you need tickets, whether planning on advance, or at the last minute, this is the way to go.
This was the first time I was using seat geek. It worked well with the ticket delivered straight to the phone. Used the phone to enter arena. The only improvement is that the ticket display screen was very sensitive and sometimes skipped two tickets at a time. A next ticket button or reduced sensitivity would be nice ;).
They sold me undisclosed obstructive view tickets for ALCS game despite website stating any tickets with obstructive or limited view must be disclosed as such. After several online chats and finally speaking with a live person (very difficult) I was refused a refund or credit even though they sold me fraudulent tickets. We could not even see the game being played yet they said All Sales Final. Their website acts like they are legitimate but they cannot be a legitimate company and I'm disappointed in MLB for referring people to SeatGeek. It's a baseball game, when you cannot see the pitcher, batter, catcher then you are not experiencing the live game which I paid a lot of $ to attend as a special occasion.
Stay away from SeatGeek!
I recently bought tickets to a concert. I did not realize that I could get them at face value on the concert site website. SeatGeek claims that they have the best deals and I like the idea of consolidating all of my ticket purchases on one site. Their advertising is false however, as they are legalized scalpers even when less expensive tickets are available. I find this despicable!
Hi Leila,
We're sorry to hear that you felt misled by our site and totally understand why you'd be upset to discover that the tickets were still available through the box office.
Most ticket listings that we aggregate are from the secondary market and are being resold at market value, which could be above or below face value. When a show is sold out, the secondary market can be a great thing, but if it hasn't sold out yet, it is often best to buy from the box office. We include a link to the official box office on every event page for this very reason. Apologies for the confusion.
I tried to buy tickets using Apple Pay - SeatGeek said the order could not go through and my card would not be charged. So I used a credit card. But SeatGeek lied. My first order went through so I spent $1000 on tickets instead of $500, SeatGeek said that all sales are final. Um... hello. So I got screwed over by SeatGeek.
Was planning to order tickets and received an error on the site. Bought tickets on another site, then later received a purchase confirmation despite never having bought any tickets. Tried to contact seatgeek 4 times via email and web form (cannot find ANY contact number) and have had NO response. Now I have to dispute the purchase through my bank and potentially cancel my credit card.
Michael, thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. What you experienced is very outside of the norm and we want to work with you to make this right. We'll be having a member of our CX team reach out you very soon to make this right.
I bought four tickets off this website. I received an email from SeatGeek stating I'd receive my tickets through email shortly. I never received the tickets that day and the next day headed to the Texas A&M stadium I tried calling, no answer, I tried emailing, no answer. By the time I made it to the game I had to go spend $240 more dollars on tickets. I've tried to get in touch to talk to someone and no one answers. I don't want you to spend your money on a site that doesn't care if you get your tickets or not. I'm still waiting on a call or email. I will not be ordering from here again. I've taken my card off the account and deleted the app.
I used your service to buy Seattle Sounders tickets on Sunday, and to manage my season tickets the day before. As well as general flakiness on the website during this purchase process, your app failed completely on the day of the game, preventing myself and thousands of others from using those tickets to access the game (staff were forced to just left ticket holders on without proof, as I'm sure you're aware). Anyway, was a very poor experience that we're hoping won't be repeated any time soon.
Hi Terry, thanks for much for taking the time to leave this review. We have a rep reaching out to you know to see what we can do to hopefully improve the experience the next time around.
Go Sounders!

I tried to get a refund right away after I found out this was from ticketmaster. They didnt want to refund me but give me credit for it. I highly suggest anybody not to use seat geek they are a fraud and scam artist. Please dont use them
I want to give SeatGeek and opportunity to respond, but it appears the mark-up for tickets I purchased was huge! I ordered 4 tickets for Disney's Frozen on Ice for $71 each. This was less than the prices quoted by the venue and Ticket Master. I received the tickets a few days later. The face value of the tickets was $50 each but the fee I was charged was $384.15. When I called the venue about the discrepancy I was told that the value of the ticket is what appears on the ticket and they have no relationship with the third party through whom I order tickets. I did not see any evidence of hidden prices, etc on their website prior to purchasing my tickets. Lesson learned: buyer beware! (I gave them 1 star because the tickets arrived in a timely fashion. Otherwise, I feel victimized on the pricing). If I am wrong, I will gladly write another review exonerating them.
Hi Dianna, thank you for your feedback. SeatGeek is a search engine that aggregates listings from hundreds of ticketing websites, many of whom sell tickets from the secondary market which is very dynamic and can have prices that rise and fall according to demand. To make it easier to navigate the secondary market, we've developed tools (like DealScore) to help customers make the most informed decision. We'd love the chance to answer any questions that you have. Please email us at hi@seatgeek.com and we'll help!
My boyfriend wanted to surprise me with jazz tickets. The game started at 7:00 by 6 the ticket price had been taken out of his bank account, but we had not received a conformation email. He had to call in 4 times to figure out what was going on, the purchase was never finalized on their end so we never went to the game. By 7:30 the prices were 3x the original price. We never received complimentary tickets, just a " hopefully your money is refunded in 24 hours." A waste of our night going downtown and bad business.
Hey Josie,
Please give us a call or shoot us a note; we would love the opportunity to make this better!
All our best,
SeatGeek

Purchased tickets for Red Sox's game. Never got the tickets with a bar code which you need for entry. I sent a screenshot showing them there was no bar code. Went back and forth with their chat—(no phone number to call) they said I would get the bar code before the game. Never got it so I asked for credit to my credit card and they said they would not refund the credit card. Their guarantee is very misleading. Would NOT recommend Seatgeek.
I bought two tickets from seat geek a month before a concert. I got an email from them saying the tickets were confirmed. Then a couple of weeks later I got an email deceptively titled "Here's additional credit toward your next event with seat geek" but actually you have to carefully read the email to realize they screwed up the order. They give a 110% refund but only as a promo code. Since I am never using them again, I got a 100% refund as cash, but now the tickets are twice as much because it is so much closer to the concert date. I wonder if they actually have verified sellers or if they just say they do so you choose them over a competitor like Stub Hub, then if they don't have a seller they just say something happened to the order and give you a refund which is a scam and makes you have to pay more from Stub Hub because of the time you wasted counting on Seat Geek.
Answer: Shana is correct, Seat Geek takes no responsibility for tickets and have no customer service and will not return calls if things do not work out Stub Hub is much better
Answer: Hi Beth, Welcome to SeatGeek! In order to maintain our marketplace we do have fees, but we'll always show you a thorough price breakdown of your order before you can checkout. Plus, we've got options so you can actually search for tickets and see the fees included in the price from the get-go. Simply use the filter "Prices with fees" when searching for listings. You can read more about that here: https://support.seatgeek.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036685293 I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions-- Best wishes, SeatGeek CX Team
Answer: Hi Ciprian, Thanks for reaching out and no worries about being concerned. I can assure you SeatGeek is a safe place to buy tickets. Luckily ticket issues seldom happen! We really just want you to score seats to events where you'll have the time of your life. That's why we're here from 6am-8pm PT, 9am-11pm ET every day to help you with any questions or concerns. Hopefully that puts your mind at ease! Warmly, SeatGeek CX Team
SeatGeek has a rating of 2.2 stars from 2,560 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with SeatGeek most frequently mention customer service, credit card and phone number. SeatGeek ranks 21st among Concert Tickets sites.
Hi there,
Sorry to hear you had an order that could not be confirmed. We understand how frustrating that must be and wish we could prevent this from happening. Because we are a search engine and aggregate listings across many different websites, it is possible that someone might try to purchase the exact same tickets on the website that the tickets are listed on and on SeatGeek simultaneously. These cases are rare, but do occasionally happen. The good news is that you should not have been charged for any tickets. Depending on the payment processor, sometimes you may see a pending authorization hold on your statement, which is the bank's way of making sure you don't overdraw if the charge is accepted. As soon as the vendor knows that your order can't be confirmed, the charges are voided and will automatically drop off your account. Hopefully, the pending authorization hold dropped off your account shortly after you wrote this review, but if this was not the case please get in touch with us at hi@seatgeek.com. We'll make sure everything is made right!
