We hired this company to provide a "Deep Clean" of our house as we prepare it for sale, in addition we asked them to clean the inside of the fridge for us. For this "service" we paid $350.00 in advance. We were led to believe that the single cleaner who came to our house would stay to complete all the work. We have a 2100 sq. Foot home with 3 bedrooms (to be cleaned), 1 full bathroom, 2 half-bathrooms, and a Powder Room. As well we have a kitchen, family room, dining room, and living room. The house has recently been painted, so no walls or baseboards needed to be cleaned. The young lady who came to clean the house was concerned when she arrived, she had apparently been allotted 4 hours to do a deep clean (it was extended to 5 hours), but then she had to leave for another appointment, leaving a significant amount of work undone. We have been advised that someone will come back to complete the work, but in four days time, and at great inconvenience to us. There is no way a "deep clean" can be done of a house, our size, in 4 hours, or even 5 hours. Our cleaner is apparently paid less than $20/hour, but Scrubbi, based on the 4 hour allotment she was given, was anticipating making almost $90/hour. In addition, the cleaner is apparently expected to purchase their own cleaning supplies, and of course, pay for their own transportation. On re-reading the information on the Scrubbi web-site, it appears that they perform minimal screening of the cleaners, they are not bonded, and I suspect, not insured. I should obviously have done more homework before hiring this company, but we will certainly never use them again, and would caution anyone else against so doing.

They don't always pay their cleaners. My daughter is owed 600.00 from May 2023. Multiple emails and no response. We will be suing them.

DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT PAY THEIR EMPLOYEES ON TIME. I WORKED THERE AND RECENTLY QUIT. THEY ARE DODGING MY CALLS AND EMAILS ABOUT MY LAST PAYCHECK BEING LATE. YOU HAVE TO BUY YOUR OWN SUPPLIES AND GAS. HOURS ARE MINIMAL SO $24 AN HOUR IS BASICALLY NOTHING. WHEN I CALLED TO TALK TO A MANAGER OR HEAD OF HR I WAS TOLD THEY DONT HAVE A DIRECT LINE TO THEM. SO YOU CANT EVEN SPEAK TO ANYONE ABOVE THEM. I THINK THIS WHOLE COMPANY IS A SCAM. IM BEYOND FURIOUS WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY ALSO DONT VET THEIR CLIENTS SO SOME OF THE HOMES YOU GET SENT INTO ARE ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. THERES NO SAFTEY FOR EMPLOYEES EITHER, YOURE TOLD TO CALL THEM IF YOU FEEL UNSAFE THATS ALL. THEY ARE QUICK TO CALL YOU IF YOURE LATE CHECKING IN FOR A JOB BUT HAVE NO PROBLEM IGNORING EMAILS AND CALLS WHEN YOUR PAY IS LATE. LASTLY YOU ARENT CONSIDERED AN EMPLOYEE YOU ARE AN "INDEPENDANT CONTRACTOR" WHICH MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO DO TAXES AND OR FILE A CLAIM WITH THE LABOR BOARD FOR ALL THIS WRONGFUL TREATMENT.
