I love the scents so far it has been great. I waited a whole year and read reviews after review before signing up. Just recently I received an email stating that the price would go up which is disappointing because I have literally had you for 4 months and after waiting a year to sign up prices increase. Overall the scents are amazing I am happy for that just disappointed in the increase of subscriptions

“Bait and Switch… Cheaply made, terrible shipping, and very poor customer service”

First, this business claims to have no telephone number for customers to call. My first email to them addressing the problems was responded to a week later. What I ordered and what I received are two entirely different things. They have false advertising so you expect a quality product but you receive a far less than satisfactory product. (What I ordered) They advertised they would be sending me (for my payment) a beautiful black velvet little tote bag with a quality metal, one piece, fragrance holding device to slide my fragrance vile into from the top. You twist from bottom and the vile will pop up from the top of the case, and you can easily slip your new/next fragrance vile into the cartridge (case). (What I received) was a dull gray pouch made of cheap, hard, stiff cotton and inside was a dull gray two piece, cheaply made cartridge/fragrance holder that is held together by a magnetic thing, making it easy to fall apart during shipping and allowing the glass fragrance vile to be destroyed during the shipping process (which is what happened to my order). You can't change fragrance cartridges easily as advertised by twisting the holder and slipping the vile in or out… you have to pull the two part case apart and remove the fragrance vile then put in the new fragrance making certain all sticking out parts are aligned correctly before you try to close it. Very cheap and ugly, not the beautiful, sleek, shiny one they show you on the YouTube ads or on the website. I would never recommend Scentbird to anyone, friend or foe. The ones that appear to be black and white are actually in color, but the product is so cheap and ugly gray that it appears it's a black and white photo. The photos showing the lovely colorful tubes and the white tube with the black pouch is what they advertise you receive. Bait and switch at it's most obvious.

Love this subscription service. I get to try so many different scents for a fraction of the price of buying a whole bottle.

Tip for consumers:
Be open to new fragrance but be honest on the quiz with your scent preference or you may get something you don't like. I always thought I liked musky scents when I truly prefer fruity scents.

I'm wondering why I'm not getting a case and I been loving so far what scents I have gotten but this last one smelled terrible I did not like the smell and that I been getting no case

I enjoy this line of Smells. Its calming It's always good when you smell good different times of the day or night there is one or two

I think it would be helpful to have the option to select scents/notes that you absolutely do not want. Patchouli, sandalwood etc. are huge migraine triggers for my partner and I don't enjoy those scents either. I also think that the scent survey needs to be more effective.

I really enjoy receiving Scentbird in the mail. It helps with picking our perfumes because you get to try different scents without buying a whole bottle. I also like receiving the different scents so I can wear different scents to different occasions.

Tip for consumers:
Pay attention to your emails so you do not miss the opportunity to select what scents you want to try instead of letting them pick.

It's been really cool getting a new scent every month and giving me a chance to really feel out what I like from what I don't like.

I am not really a perfume person so I loved the idea of having small amounts of perfume every month and seeing which ones I preferred more.

It made a lot of sense and gave me a chance to decide which scents I would have liked to purchase long term.

It was also fun and my friends would always say oh that's nice what's that I would let them know its my subscription scent from scentbird haha.

I really love this company and all it's options, prices, and etc. My only complaint is the shipping process. I don't know what's going on most of the time and worry my stuff is lost and so on. So I feel like they need to find someone else to ship for them who is more on their game who makes sure to let us know where our package is every step of the way every time. Scentbird tries to do this but most of the time it's stuck processing with no tracking number even when it should have it and tells us where it is. And it comes late no matter if you pay on the 5th like you are supposed or pay late. This causes major anxiety especially when you read comments that people never got their package at all causing me to have to figure out how to contact scentbird which isn't the easiest cause they don't have a number you can simply call. I don't want to have to contact them every month asking where my package is to make sure I never lose my package and I really don't want to cancel my subscription either. I really do love the idea of this company since it gives you a chance to find perfumes that are perfect for you which really can't be done at the counter or magazine sample especially at the prices and container it's in protecting it. I tell everyone I can about it and they love it too but I sadly have to warn then about this part as well. So scentbird please find someone else to process and ship your products cause things ain't right especially when I keep reading comments of people's perfumes leaking or have stuff in them like dust, hair, leaks or totally missing despite paying for it.
I haven't found this at all yet which is great but doesn't mean they were wrong or it won't happen to me but definitely you guys need to look into it and do something about it. I understand this probably keeps the prices low and stuff happens cause that's life but still I'd rather pay an extra $5 and have everything with no problem at all and everyone happy with rarely a problem.
