They are not the best but not worst also. The electronic products they produce from phones to blenders are of good quality but the prices they charge are not good. There are other's offering the same same products with same features at a low rate as compared to them.the service the provide is also ok ok..

I'm not going to say ALL Samsung Products are bad and maybe not even my two years old fridge is all that bad but what I will say is any company that does not stand behide their product is not a company that I will deal with anymore! I wish I would have been smart enough to read all these reviews ahead of time but just like so many here I am just getting the run around with their customer service. They think they may have won with me but in the end they will lose. I will never buy any other shi@#%$ Samsung product again nor let my kids either. In fact I would give my kids the extra $$ towards any other product on the market. Bottom line you make a product, there is going to be a few bad lemons I get that but to treat your customers with such disrespect is uncalled for. You played your game, you don't want me to call back to your customer service... don't worry I won't be calling on you ever!

Horrible customer service!
September 24, 2016

My daughter's phone stopped charging so i sent it to virgin mobile to see if it could be fixed and they told me it was a manufacture problem, no water damage etc... and to send it to samsung because it was still on warranty. I sent it to them and they told me that it wasn't covered because there was water damage etc. They told me it would cost 500$ to fix it (more than what it was worth) so i said nevermind. Then they said I would have to pay 25$ to get the phone back. They never told me that to begin with so I feel as though I shouldn't have to pay it. They pretty much said "too bad". They told me that they would call me to let me know within 24 hrs... that was over 2 wks ago. I also had a hard time trying to send the phone to them. Had to call several times to get the shipping labels etc. Everytime they said they would contact me, they didn't. I had to call them back every time. I feel as though they take advantage of there customers and only said there was more damage to the phone than there was so they wouldn't have to fix it or replace it (why wouldn't virgin mobile see water damage too?) I will never buy another samsung product again. But Virgin Mobile on the other hand... awesome customer service and highly recommend them!

September 23, 2016

My best brand of Electronic weather its a phone, dvd, or t. V I have all 3. On my living room i have a 60Inch FlatScreen T. V with a SamSung DVD. And for my cellphone i have a GalaxyS7 Edge, i have had almost every galaxy since the the GalaxyS2 i never had a problem with any of my Galaxys every time they dropped new one i would always upgrade to them never missed out on anything i had it. I love their cameras everything caught on the moment they are HD, and the s5 has been my favorite one the fact it can go underwater and take great HD pictures i love it. Never would betray Samsung with any other company

Purchased our American fridge freezer in 2010 at £800 within first year it needed a conversion as a fault had been found on the model, it was leaking water everywhere.
I believed the product had a 10 year parts guarantee as advertised,, recently the thing stopped working rang Samsung who stated, that because I purchased mine from Homebase when purchasing a new kitchen that it would not have the 10 year guarantee, considering that it's still a Samsung... beware where you purchase... as apparently you don't get the same warranty... check... wouldn't recommend Samsung... to get customer support you have to ring the phillipines, they won't ring you back, can't e mail why my applliance isn't covered... banging your head against a brick wall. Com... need to get rid of my Samsung washing machine which is strangely covered for 10 years... JOKERS no stars from me

Zero customer service!

Bought a new washing machine and it didn't work from the first load. A month later we still haven't received help. They will take your money and after that you are on your own. I will never buy anything from Samsung again.

Sad never before!
September 17, 2016

Samsung is no more a brand that produces quality mobile phones. Now finally it is evident after their release of Galaxy note 7 which is famous for Fire / Explode. Using a Samsung phone is like risking your life, you never know when will it explode. Samsung is releasing millions of phones every year, out of which 20% are faulty pieces. If you are lucky enough. You would get the moderate ones that will last for an year and some more than that ( Bonus), if not then you know the story. I was also one of the customer who always liked and admired Samsungs technological instructions to the market. But it did not last for long. I was terribly back stabbed by their recently launched Samsung S7 Edge. Which did not last for no more than a month. You know what was the problem? The mobile phone goes off for no reason, and overheating when not in use, even if the battery is fully charged and never turned on even after several attempts to do so. I did call the support centre- the dealer from where I bought from and also Samsung directly. The response was really astonishing. I was asked to hold the power on button for more than 10 seconds. Oh really? As if I am using the mobile phone for the 1st time in the world?
Samsung was never bothered to support me in this regard and they just informed me to speak to the dealer. What a great service! I have immediately sold this mobile crap off and would never buy it again. Great technology is it? :D

Bought a 58" smart tv. Got it home, set it up screen had an internal crack. Brought it back to Best Buy the next day, they gave us a new one. We were leary about taking the same kind of tv but we did. Four months later, tv screen got another internal crack. Basically while I was watching it. Now Samsung is making us jump through hoops to start the process of getting another tv or at least fixing this one. Have to send them information and pictures to their eFax address, but it won't go through. I can see that this is not going to go well or easy. No tv, kids upset, thanks Samsung. Also researched this on the internet, over three thousand hits on this internal crack issue. Samsung claims they never heard of it. What a joke. Where to go now? BBB or AG.

Terrible
September 8, 2016

I am a college student, I NEED my phone to use blackboard and to access some of my penal law files. I just got off of the phone with Samsung customer service regarding my galaxy s6 (which was the worst 2 hours of my life). My phone will not take a charge whatsoever regardless of the method, therefore not powering on. A fairly large issue. They told me it would be 9-11 Business days to get it back! WHAT THE HECK I cant go a class period without using my phone 20 times for laws and books! I can't go two weeks! I WILL BE SWITCHING TO APPLE AND I SUGGEST YOU DO THE SAME BEFORE YOUR PHONE HAS AN ISSUE! Screw Samsung and their crappy customer service, who by the way hardly speak a lick of English!

Bought a new Samsung washer and dryer set from Home Depot for over $1,000.00 and after 14 months both have broken. Hardly used them since i live alone. They were installed by Home Depot.
The dryer (model dv45h7000ew/a2) quit drying in the middle of a load and the washer does not complete the spin cycle. I am a retired state licensed HVAC tech and servicing this dryer is extensive to access the faulty heating components. The machine has to be almost completely disassembled. I replaced a 30 year old set that hardly had problems (From Sears when Sears was good). This is just another case of inferior and low quality products for the sake of profit.
Before purchasing any appliance you should do a search such as " name of product" along with the words "repair" for an indication of what to expect. This was a fairly new model and the search results are extensive for repairing this particular machine that has a problem getting "stuck in the cooling mode". This means a heating component has gone bad. If Samsung is so interested in customer service then why don't they honor that commitment? They want me to pay for a service call that i know will end up being at least $200.00 for a 14 month old appliance. No thanks! I will break it down and repair it myself but will never buy a Samsung product again. I know my drop in the ocean doesn't mean anything but hopefully this review will be of some help. Maybe I just got lucky and bought a set of lemons but I really don't think so. I think this is a result of inferior components like so many other products being manufactured today. Welcome to the new world. If your young you are just used to things breaking but i lived in a time when quality meant something and products lasted. Companies cared about their customers and policies weren't cut and dry. Samsung should have taken care of this since the products were only 14 months old. They would have had a customer for life and an advocate but oh no we can't reach into our profits to pay some technician to take care of this at no charge and we do apologize for the faulty products and HEY! "Customer satisfaction is our priority" Just over used phrases that don't mean anything anymore.

I recently bought a 4K T. V. through best buy via ebates.com and I was able to get my T. V. at under half price then I would have direct from Samsung but not only that, when I did have a repair issue ( which sometimes happens when you order online and it gets shipped to home) Samsung quickly sent a professional and friendly repair service over and replaced my screen free of charge. Every time I have called them with questions ( at all hours) they have responded professionally. People need to remember that a warranty is only good for what it says ( usually one year) and there are several places a person can get all their, or most, electronic items covered for one fee.

Samsung warranties
September 1, 2016

This is the first time I have ever written a review but I could not let this go. I purchased a Samsung Washing Machine in November of 2015. The washer is not draining so I called Samsung regarding having repair under the warranty. I was informer that the warranty was not from the date purchased but THE DATE MANUFACTURED. I had to email the company a copy of the original receipt for them to review. If they except it they will cover it. This can take up to 3 business day to go over and then they will let me know. So here I sit with a washing machine full of water for the next I don't know how many days. Since when does a year warranty mean from the time it manufactured and not the time of purchase. MAKE SURE WHEN YOU PURCHASE AN APPLIANCE OR ANYTHING FROM SAMSUNG YOU CHECK INTO THIS.

The dryer comes with a lot of features that just don't work. The sensor does not work correctly and the clothes come out damp. If you use the steam function, don't forget to turn off or you might flood the house. Our repairman told us not to use them and just use the manual setting. A big waste of money.

Purchased a 65' TV in Oct 2015. Last week in a sudden when I turned the TV on, I saw vertical lines covering the left half of the TV. After a few loops on telephone I got a repair ticket and a local repair facility got in touch with me. The asked me to take a few images and email them to the given email address what I immediately did. 2 days later, I got a response that there is physical damage on the screen and of course no warranty coverage. I protested and mentioned that we did not do anything to the screen. It just occurred when I turned on the TV. Later, I got emails from Samsung customer care as well, denying any responsibility. This is so bad, I am so frustrated - all these promised about customer care but I do see caring in a different light. I am a business owner and serve more than 1000 customers. If I would act like these crazy folks at Samsung I would be out of business so fast.
My recommendation: Don't buy a single Samsung product if you expect "customer care". They are really, really bad. I will not buy a product from them in my life and will recommend to everybody to keep your fingers away from Samsung.
