Samsung provides third class customer service. I get a pink laser line across the screen and still within warranty. I have called Samsung total of 10 times now and each time it has fallen to deaf ears. No one seems to know the true meaning of customer service and each phone call you get new set of promises that the issue will be taken care off in 2 days, except no one calls back. Terrible Company no wonder they have so many recalls. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT.

Never buy Samsung
July 12, 2017

I bought a new washer and dryer 2 years ago, after a year the washer started to make a swooshing noise as if the water did not completely drain, took apart and found water was caught in upper rim of drum, had to drill holes to drain
Today on the dryer the main control board fried, could see arcing in the card when powered up, $230 TO REPLACE. My old whirlpool set lasted 23 years, the only reason I replaced them is a bearing went in the washer. There was nothing wrong with the dryer

I have always been a die hard samsung fan however the past 5 months have completely RUINED that. I purchased a Samsung washing machine in October of 2016 and shortly after I began using it I noticed it shook and made a horrible noise. When the recall was issued, I was insulted by the measly offer Samsung provided to remedy the situation. In fact I swore I would never buy another product manufactured by them. A month ago, I made the HORRIBLE mistake of giving my S7 away and getting the "new and improved" Galaxy s8 plus. After one night of simply sitting on the charger the back of the phone scratched. This worried me as they advertise "GORILLA GLASS" the following day i spent over $100 on a case and screen protector. Only 2 DAYS later the protector broke. After getting 2 screen protectors thay BOTH broke almost instantly, I open my purse and get my phone to find the screen SHATTERED! I have NEVER BROKEN A PHONE AND HAVE NEVER DROPPED THIS S8 PLUS. I immediately called Samsung and expressed my anger with the situation. They refused to refund my money because I purchased the phone from tmobile. I requested my call be escalated to upper management ONLY TO BE TOLD I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS FOR A RETURN PHONE CALL. I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW WHAT A SCAM THIS COMPANY AND THEIR MANAGMENT ARE AND PREVENT ANYONE ELSE HAVING TO GO THROUGH THE HASSLE THAT I HAVE BEEN THRU! STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG!

I bought a Samsung dryer less than 8 months ago when it stopped working. I called Samsung 3 times before I was told that they don't provide service in my area, despite the fact that the product is under warranty. It took me another five weeks (with no working dryer) to get a refund. At one point, I was told to call a customer service number between the hours of 2-5 EST. I kept the phone on re-dial and dialed the number continuously between 2-5 for three days and it was busy! My refund did not include money to have the broken dryer removed. This was my first and last experience with any Samsung product. It was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.

I bought their s7 back in November with the promise of a $250 rebate and still havent gotten it. All i get is the run around. I bought the Bogo deal for the S8 and nobody can tell me when i will revieve my order. All they keep saying is next week. Its been 3 weeks. The Note 8 is about to release. I had enough and had to cancel my order after i got the reply " your order is in back order, we cant ship you something we dont have in stock." If thats the case why do you sell product you dont have in stock? Makes no sense. On top of that, why does it seem like i know more about samsung policies than yheir employees. Ill continue to buy samsung products but never from their website. Their customer service is unbareable and they just keep giving you the run around. I would avoid purchasing anything from their website.

Hi, My experience has been horrible after buying a samsung galaxy s8 on their website. I brought it on the trade-in program. However, the trade-in details and information were not clear. It seemed onesided where many customers have informed that if your phone is not accepted then samsung will charge you with $175 in lieu of the trade-in phone not going through. Trying to get a return is painful as they provided only one Return authorization but not the second for the galaxy 360 that came bundled. With all this confusion, I decided best to save myself the botheration of returning the phone and just keep it.
Hence buyers please be aware if you decide to buy directly from samsung.com be prepared not to get any post purchase support. Their customer care is not well equipped.
Also, it seems the entire transactions are handled by Digital River (a third party) and it's not samsung parent company.

In June got some lines from the top of the screen to the bottom. In Costco they refused to accept it, gave us phone number to call the customer service. We had to carry this huge TV!
While troubleshooting with customer representative all went ok, more lines occurred but no cracks. At the end, there appeared 2 cracks on the screen, someone could hit it. Physical damage, not covered by warranty- agree! But they decided, the first problem occurred also from physical damage, even if there were no cracks! Of course, its so much easier! Samsung lost us as clients!

We bought a Samsung washing machine a few years ago. We loved it and it worked great. A couple months ago we got a recall notice in the mail that said the machine had an issue that might cause excessive vibrations which could result in damage or injury.

We were given two options a small credit towards a new machine or to have them repair the defect. We chose the repair option.
Immediately preceding the first repair the machine stopped working. After putting a load in and setting the options it would start the wash but never finish. It keeps draining the filling the tub with water again over and over. It wastes unacceptable amounts of water and electricity and doesnt even wash the clothes.
Ive called support countless times and each time they say the same thing. Theyll send a service repairman out for the issue. Weve cleared our schedule and made arrangements three times for a repair man. Each time they come out and say that it has been fixed and should work.

After the third failed repair I called and they wanted to schedule another (fourth) repair. I told the customer service rep that this was unacceptable and I wanted the credit or a replacement. She opened an Executive Customer Relations ticket and told me someone from that ECR would contact me in 48 business hours. A week goes by and I dont receive any call.

Yesterday we tried small load of towels on low spin setting. The machine ran so long that it drained all the hot water in the house, in the middle of my kids bath. He had to finish his bath with cold water.

I call today and speak with Torri at ECR and she tells me the same story, yet another service call must be made. This time she will instruct them to call Samsung during, as if somehow that will make a difference.

If you google Samsung top loader recall, you will find thousands of articles, videos, news reports, and even pending class action law suits. Samsung, you cant treat your consumers like this. You made a defective product; you should stand behind it and make it right.

I purchased Samsung Note 5 about 8 months ago form a local shops in Melbourne which has started to give me issues with charging and battery life. Battery only lasts for 2 hours and takes ages to charge.
I took it to their local customer services centre in Central Station in Melbourne where they refused to repair/replace it as they are claiming it to be American Model and hence can't be supported here in Australia. Samsung confirmed it to be a genuine Samsung Device and it was only launched nearly 21 months ago and was purchased brand new about 8 months ago. I had fair bit of argument and they agreed to replace it but only if I provide them with a proof of purchase, which I don't have. But surly this device has to be under warranty period of 24 months as it never existed any time before Sept/Oct 2015. Moreover they could have checked the IMEI number to verify the date of manufacturing.
What sort of customer support is this... Are are actually allowed to do that to their customers here in Australia. This is crap service, their phones blow out, doesn't last for long and then they do even cover their warranty... this is extremely disappointing and my last ever purchase of any Samsung device, they are useless absolutely useless and brand - extremely unhappy!

Stupid TV
July 1, 2017

I loved this tv at first. It worked, the picture was great and I liked that we had a smart tv. We bought this tv avee years ago. Now I sometimes can't get the tv to turn on unless I unplug it and turn it back in. The applications, like Netflix are so slow on the tv that it freezes all the time causing me to have to unplug it and plug it back in to work.

Also we have a smal 32 inch Samsung. That one takes 10 minutes after being turned on to access Netflix. Before the 10 minutes, it states the app is unavailable. I hate both these tv's and will never buy another Samsung.

Their products are mostly good, but their inventory, order fulfillment and customer service are lacking. They should be able to better predict their inventory, or at least notify their customers when order statuses change. That goes into order fulfillment which sucks to say the least. Finally, they do not equip their customer service representatives with enough information to be able to actually help anyone. It's the same canned response that mean nothing in the end. If I didn't know any better, I'd think this was a startup company or a small business run out of someone's home.

I had wrote a review on Samsung's ungodly poor service and would like to update as it has gotten worse over the past week. Now I have been made aware of the sorry quality of the products they make. It is not just rip off marketing, but poor quality products, and worse customer service. I was told I would get a call for to survey their service, and before they would take the survey I was hung up on. Par for the course if you choose Samsung. Every year they come up with a new model 600-850 dollars for a product that is worse than the earlier. Noe their S8 phone is worse than the S5. The 5 being a superior product taken from the reviews online and the comparisons on taken from U-Tube. Thank God for U-Tube and the freedom to tell the truth. Kudo's for all you who can afford to buy new phones every year when they don't improve. But you can say you have the latest version out.

Wish I could rate a ZERO. After numerous phone calls concerning the volume for my television which started a few months after purchase, well within the warranty period; Samsung now tells me it is out of warranty. They didn't correct the problem when it first started and would not authorize a service call when it was within the warranty period and now as they planned the warranty period is expired and use that excuse not to fix it. We have numerous Samsung products, but will NEVER purchase another one.

I'm a sucker. I kept getting lured into the Samsung brand by its stunning good looks and unbeatable price. I purchased a Blu-Ray player, a two flat screens, and a high model $3,000 french door fridge. Every since one of these products has had issues, and Samsung confirmed that they've received individual complaints from me for each of these products. Against my recommendation not to buy, a friend purchased a fridge because of its sexy looks, and complained of issues, not more than 9 months after purchasing it. I am incredibly disappointed.

Here's a summary of issues:

BluRay Player - discs would not read, constant error - sent to customer service facility on east coast, they said they could not reproduce the issue and sent it back unrepaired
60" LED TV - control board died and screen refused to turn on, two techs came in to replace board and TV started working again; sold it immediately after
42" LED TV - backlight flickers and dims, need to turn maximum backlight brightness to view
French Door Refridgerator - compressor stall issue, would not keep freezer compartment (which is the bottom drawer on this model) cold; contents melted with water all over my kitchen floor. Made funny sounds the day before it crapped out. Was out of the warranty period, but Samsung noted my complaints on all previous items I've purchased, and offered to send tech out to fix, FOC.

Samsung Galaxy S5 - terrible and unresponsive UI. Owned it for 2 weeks then exchanged it for the most recent iPhone at the time (iPhone 6).
