As I went to the club today to apply for a plus membership from the $45 membership and the Latina woman at do it yourself cashier told me I need to have a itin number to apply for plus membership. It took her about 7 minutes to even help me because she was listening to music on her cell phone and it was a few customers that we need it help. She was very sarcastic and rude after I told her I didn't want to give her my itin and she said it could not do it on the machine to pay she had to do it from a computer she had wit her. As I was walking to the door I asked a lady at a cashier machine if it was true we need it itin and she said no I ask to talk to manager and I was sent to another Latina young lady and I told about my problem she did my membership nicely this shopping was very bad I will not go back and make sure someone higher nows because that's is not fair or the laws. I will post it on my social and let the community now what Sam's club does to the customers they have to.
Today was 1st time this year, frankly so surprised by the widespread negativity about cust. Svc. I went to the Fountain Valley, CA store and was using "scan and go" app feature. I am not a "techie" so I approached Andy (f) who was supervising the self-checkout. She was very patient, kind and very helpful tutoring me through the process. I stopped her again as I was checking out and again she was extremely courteous and helpful. Thank you Andy!
On 9/27/22 I purchased business membership. When I got the receipt they charged me for two. I had to go through a huge hassle to get them to remove one.
Then I went in today to order coffee and they told me my membership expired. Nobody could help. I had to call because it was sent to their specialist team. When I called the recording said they were going through an emergency and couldn't take my call.
Huge scam.
Crazy thing is when I got home from work my dad had told me he went to Sam's club with a friend. He paid with his credit card and noticed they added a membership to his order. This is fraud.
This is completely illegal to charge our credit card for purchases we didn't authorize. We can't be the only ones.
Please be very careful when purchasing anything from sam's club. They're shady ah.
I have never received worse customer service in my life. I have had an issue for 2 months, have been on the phone with 10+ representatives fully communicating my issue, being told it was fixed, and it wasn't. Communication is poor, Sams Club will block your orders without telling you why, and you'll be left paying for a membership that you can't actually use.
I was overcharged $60.00 on a 140.00 drug that I could of purchased at ( get this) Walmart which is not a discount store for $80.00
I bought an item online. It is not available for pick up.
I was charge for delivery.
It was delivered a week before.
I was not informed.
I have a smart home.
I could open the garage if the delivery person push the door bell.
I could talk to him or her.
Instead they choose to leave the packages in the front.
I got home to find them completely wet.
It is raining every day here in Florida.
I try to chat. To get answers. The product could be ruined.
After 15 minutes waiting. She chat with me for a few minutes.The woman said she had to go.
I tried to chat again. And again after 20 minutes waiting. I got disconnected.
Terrible customer service
Ever since jif PB was recalled all of my instore/online purchases of jif has disappeared from my acct. I was told by sams they would refund my money for jif purchased then when I looked and so did someone from sams looked on my purchases for the last 3 years of Jif peanut butter they are all missing. WHY? I have a pantry with 5 twin packs of Jif PB purchased from sams.
I was at the Renaissance store today in Albuquerque New Mexico like I'm there at least 3 or 4 times a week There was A-line past the registers for people to leave home people on the registers gonna leave because the line was so big going out there was young lady at the door and finally when I got up to her I gave her my gave her my receipt and then she proceeded to check all my packages and I said why do you have to keep on doing that since it was done electronically already and you said that's the way it is deal with it also we don't want people to steal It's because I'm Hispanic made me feel like I was a thief I've been a sounds club member for many many years Why have a scanner to scan the receipt and then having to scan only 3 packages if I was to steal something And search me put me through a melody Tech before we leave
Try to contact them 5 time to cancel my online order but all they told me that sorry we can't help. Then when the item arrived to my house i try to return it but it's too heavy (full size cabinet) and they keep asking me to bring it to store for my return, another online order got problem and need to change the shipping address. I called fedex (shipping company) fedex told me sender (sam's club) need to call them to change it then i call Sam club customer to tell them but agian all they said is sorry we can't help
I went in there today to get my favorite delli food. It straight up nasty. Actually got food poisoning from the chicken salad I always buy. High price already for something u can make at home. Teach ur employees to wear gloves and keep Thier hands clean. The staff is rude as hell. Non existent manager at the Southaven branch. Him or her is never to been seen
After my membership expired Sams Club took 45.00 without my consent out of my checking account. This was the first time this ever happened. Usually in the past when my membership expired that would be it. I contacted the 800 number about refunding that 45.00 back into my checking. They give you an option of having it on a gift card to where you can use it at walmart or sams. I told them I want it back in my checking where it belongs. They said it would take 8-10 days for it to return to my checking. Or I could go to the store and get it same day. I told them to go ahead and refund it. Over 10 days later and nothing. No refund entered back into my checking. So I called again. Told the lady and she transfers me yet I get hung up. I called back and she said sorry about the call getting hung up. I said no you're not. She then transfers me to sams credit services. She knew I used a debit card and not a sams card. The lady at the credit company transfered me back and this time got a male rep. He gave me the same song and dance. I told him I still want the refund back in my checking. Now I sit and wait. I will no longer deal with Sams Club. They steal your money and are jerks about returning it. They had no business taking it out. Unless I consented first. Be aware!
I went to sams club Fullerton to become the new member. I showed them $45 on $45 offer that they said they cannot use because there was no 5 digit code. I asked them there is no such requirement but they said they cannot help and they are aware of the issue but never raise to higher ups because that's none of their problem. I asked to talk to the supervisor who came to talk and straight up told me that the doesn't want my attitude when I asked how can he help me become the member today and get the $45 offer right away. I don't think I would ever go to sams club after this experience.
My Car was running fine and after filling up Sam's Club@ Port St Lucie and US1Hwy, my car started missingfiring, idling rough, no power and flashing service light..
GIFT CARD HACKED! BUYER BEWARE WHEN BUYING GIFT CARDS!
I purchased 10 gift cards on 12/1/21 to give to grand kids for Christmas/Bdays. The 9th card purchased was mailed to my grandson in mid August 2022. It was in its sealed envelope. When he attempted to use it, he found it had been "depleted" 3/15/22 with an Amazon purchase (when it was declined, he used the VanillaGift.com to check the history and balance). The card was in my safe from 12/1/22 and in its sealed envelope until mailed in mid August. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?
When I called Sam's Club, I was informed that I must resolve through Vanilla Visa. After contacting Vanilla Visa today, they have opened an inquiry and I was told that IF they can contest the 3/15/22 Amazon transaction and recover the $50, they will reimburse me. I am skeptical on completing more documents because I expect AMAZON to rebut the transaction challenge.
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! I have proof of the 12/1/21 purchase transaction to Sam's Club on my Sam's Master Card. This card was obviously compromised when I bought/activated it. I paid $625 for 10 gift cards and Sam's Club received the money and I hold Sam's Club as my point of contact to resolve the issue. SOMEONE in the security department needs to do a deep dive to investigate how this happens.
I have already spent too much time on seeking resolution. I have all the documentation to support the information above and will continue to blog my story to seek an apology and reimbursement.
Perhaps there are others that have experienced this that would support a Class Action? Let me know!
Just purchased baby back ribs at sam's club Corunna Rd store in Flint, Michigan. Being a vacuum sealed two pack of ribs I told my wife; "watch when we get these home the rib on the bottom will be all fat". I wasn't off by much. I am Disgusted! I feel like I have just been assaulted. I will not be renewing my membership with this company. I will shop for my food at Aldi's. At least there you don't feel like you've been bent over a barrel!
HORRIBLE is a kind review! Can not get a U.S. based person on the phone, called customer service number 3 TIMES, total of 2:52 minutes and got disconnected ALL # TIMES! Because they have no clue how to respond. Issue= searched robot vacuum online, in the search bar drop down recommended box is the Shark Item # ******* Shark IQ Robot Self-Empty XL UR1005AE, Robot Vacuum, IQ Navigation, Wi‐Fi with a price of $299.91. Click on it to purchase and NOW THE PRICE is $441.98. Thought is might reset in cart but NO, it's still $150.00 higher. If THAT is not " bait and switch" I'll eat my hat. It is much easier to get Biden or Trump on the phone that to get the local Sam's to even ANSWER THE PHONE! Tried 5 times. They are 50 minute travel time one way. Talking to CUSTOMER NON-SERVICE is frustrating and a joke! I wish there was a way to give MINUS 5 stars, they deserve it! Will be canceling my plus membership after 20+ years. BEWARE
I have been a member for 6years and lately just started noticing the very unfriendly atmosphere in my local club #******* LBJ fwy Dallas Texas. I guess they promoted a very rude associate to club manager position. Customer service here is horrible, they talk like they are doing you a favour. August 30th around 9.45am, while I was scanning at self check out, a male associate cuts infront of me and the computer screen, standing less than 2ft away from me and said; "stop scanning and leave the store". I was taken aback and asked why? He repeated his rude remark and added "because you are not a plus member". I promptly told him "that was very rude, he could have started with either a hi or good morning and should go get his supervisor". I informed them about his rude behavior when he brought the supervisor & club manager. The manager did not address the rude behavior but went on to tell me that "they have a new policy of not allowing non plus members to shop early and if I don't like it, i should get a refund of my membership fees and purchases". I called their customer care to complain, I was given a reference # & nothing was done. I guess if I had recorded this experience on my phone for others to see on SM it will get their attention. Spare yourself the horrible experience and shop elsewhere not at this store. To be fair to the organization, some other clubs are not like this one. I have received better services in the Plano club. The services offered at Sam's club is not worth $50 & $100 annual membership fee they charge. A 1star rating is being generous
The case of water that I bought should not taste like faucet water it is nasty and not great will not buy arrowhead water or water from store VOSS water is the best
I just wanted to jump on here really quick to say samples help decide what to buy family's quick snacks/dinner. Love the idea, sure it works to boost sales on specific products. However, I'd love to see more vegetarian/vegan options because I'd really like to try those before I buy. Thanks much.
We've been a member for more years than I can count. We've given Sam's consistent business. We ordered groceries that never came. Sam's delivery service is unorganized and not held accountable. This was 3 weeks ago and Sam's still has not refunded our order. The way I see it they have stolen from us and have no issue with it. I'll be canceling my membership
