Wish I had seen this before I purchased - sizes are way off, dress arrived torn, took forever to receive (over 60 days), when replacement item was ordered - took 60 days to NOT arrive - then when reported missing - was told "sorry we arent responsible for lost in transit - if you had purchased the insurance we can help - otherwise only partial credit"

I ordered some items months ago and only received half my order, still waiting for my jeans, it's now been 4 months. They also took more money than I agree to pay as my statements will show. Sammy Dress are FRAUDS... "Do Not Shop here people" you will get ripped off and not receive all your order. The clothes are really poor quality and the sizes are a joke way too small! I ordered 4 dresses... two pair of shoes and 2 tops. I paid for expedited shipping and it was still 2 weeks before my shipment arrived, less one of the dresses. The material is cheap and workmanship is horrible! The shoes are a joke... the dresses fit more like tops as they are to short to wear as dresses and there is thread hanging off all the clothing... what a joke!

I saw Sammy ads. I liked some of the clothes I saw, and the prices. I sign up. I pick out a couple of things. I go to pay. They say they take amex. It keeps rejecting my amex number and my amex security code. I notice the English on the site is a tad 'off'. I give up. Next day, go back on site, recereate my order, same thing happens, and I try contacting them. The only given medium is "live chat". I wait... and wait... The message is that soon a CSR will be with me. Really? If they only have certain customer svc hours, which is quite understandable, just put them down. Oh, and I had a customer coupon number that I had "used" when I started to make my purchase the previous day. When I went to use it again the second day (trying again to make my first purchase, before I tried the chat) I got a message that the coupon has a time-sensitive aspect (or something along those lines in awkward English). So I just gave up. If you take amex, the checkout page should be properly coded for amex. If someone enters a coupon, but does not make a purchase, it should not be tagged as already used (unless I only had hours to use that introductory coupon). Give some info (like hours) re: customer service. Don't just show a picture of a blonde with a message that we will be with you shortly. If you have 24/7 customer service, give an estimate of the time until a CSR is available. I just did a quick search - outside of sitejabber - and it looks like they are a scam... unless they were four years ago, and suddenly got extremely honest.

Facebook has been advertising Sammy Dress a lot, so I decided to try buying one shirt to test the site. It did take a really long time to get here, but they emailed me an item tracker, so I wasn't terribly annoyed about that. The thing that did annoy me is that the shirt doesn't fit. I am normally a medium shirt size, and I ordered large just to be safe, and the shirt is way too small for me. My arms don't fit the sleeves. I'm never ordering from here again.

What a scam!. I've never complained about a company before, but this was just ridiculous! I'm writing this in hopes of saving someone else the headache.
I ordered 9 items, got 4 delivered. No explanation as to where the rest of my items were. Tried contacting their customer service - took weeks to get back to me through email. (I swear whoever is replying to their emails is copying/pasting into google translate because their emails made no sense most of the time).
Was told the rest of my stuff was on back-order and couldn't tell me when it would be delivered... Then was basically called a liar because they were insisting 5 items were shipped...(Trust me, only 4 items were in that bag).
Meanwhile, they have charged me full price for my order and full price shipping. Then was told if I want the rest of my items, they were going to charge me MORE shipping (even though I already paid full shipping at checkout initially). And I'd also have to pay MORE duties. Talk about double dipping!... They kept arguing with me and weren't willing to give a refund despite the fact I didn't get all my items. In order to entertain a refund, they wanted me to ship back the items I got, TO CHINA WITH A TRACKING NUMBER!. I'm in Canada - to add a tracking number to china was going to cost me $150! So that wasn't an option.
Also - the 3 clothing items I did get were terrible quality - nothing like what is shown on their website. The bathing suit was ok. The sweatshirt had a hole in it, and so did the maxi dress. Also, the dress was nothing like what was shown. It's more akin to a cheap witch costume at Halloween time. Certainly nothing I could wear in public!
Do not waste your money. Order from a more reputable company and do your research. This company just wants to take your money and run... They don't want to deal with problems. Took me a month of fighting (and opening a formal dispute through paypal) in order to get a refund.
So if you're in a similar situation as me, open a dispute with your credit card company or paypal.

Yes, it does take a long time to receive your order since it is shipped from overseas. I'm very impatient and emailed customer support several times. They replied every time and told me my items would be there. They did arrive and I love them.
I ordered wigs and clothing from this company before. The clothing wasn't true to size and very poor quality. The wig was great. Ordered more wigs recently and received only part of my order. Still waiting for one more wig.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Sammydress. All of my orders have shipped and arrived a lot sooner than they quote and everything looks just like it does in the pictures. I love that I am able to post customer pictures on their website also, because then I am able to show other consumers what it looks like on average women and not just beautiful models! :)
So I am updating this because they responded to my review acting they actually care. I been emailing back on forth with them and I realize I bought 3 shirts and they said that one was out of stock and was not going to replace so they send 2 shirts but they charge me for 3 shirts and I didn't any shirts. I send them an email on the 19th of NOV. And no response. I spent 35 dollars and they only refund me 11 dollars. I also bought the shipping insurance and that has no use since my shipment was lost and apparently the shipping insurance they offer it does cover the items.
I order 3 shirts and i was told it was going to take about 3 to 4 weeks so i was willing to wait but my shirt never came. I wait 2 months and nothing. And now to top it off i dont even get my money back i could only get a credit on my account. This website is horrible and they dont take any accountability on the package the send you.
