As a buyer, i've experienced purchasing from many online stores and I have to say that Sammydress is the worst i've ever dealt with! I ordered 4 jackets on the 25th of March for $97.49, they then tell me that 3 of them are out of stock so they sent me the 1 and refunded me $68.05. It is now the 5th of July and I still haven't received my jacket... I've messaged them numerous times and they kept telling me to wait. It does not take 4 months to ship something to Australia... So I then send them another message demanding a refund and they tell me they can only give me back $17... when I should really be getting $29.44. They also refused to give me back my shipping payment. I'm not even bothered about the money... It just makes me sad to see companies like this taking peoples money for the sake of it and I know now that i'm not the only one they've done this too. If a company isn't responsible and reliable, they shouldn't have the right to run a company and they need to shut themselves down. I don't care how difficult it is to post things around the world and manage large amounts of stock, people don't deserve to be robbed of their money just because they can't manage themselves properly.

Okay, so I had a few problems with the site (not as bad as a lot of people on here did, clearly). I was really impressed with the variety (dresses are my favorite articles of clothing) but really wary as to why the prices were so low. I did some research and people were talking about it being a scam which made me even more wary. So I waited about two weeks before checking it out again because there was a dress on there that I just couldn't get out of my head.

So I then made a post on tumblr asking if any of my followers have ever used it and whether or not it was reliable. Sammydress's tumblr actually replied to my post and reassured me. I checked out the tag and noticed that people were posting things they had bought (and they were real blogs, not just bots) I waited another week before finally deciding I wanted to take the chance. So I placed my order which for a dress, a pair of earrings, and a pair of shorts came out to $11.67, but then there was shipping which was another $9.00, higher than I would have liked, but lower than I'd anticipated. I placed my order and also paid $2.00 for the ability to track my package. I received the confirmation email about a minute later that told me the processing time would be about four days.

I had actually prepared myself for a long wait knowing that it would be coming all the way from China and I'd only paid for standard shipping. About a week later I checked to see if the tracking number was working and it was. The estimated time of arrival was THREE MONTHS. However, about a week later it had arrived in a tiny parcel. Everything was in perfect condition. The shorts were light and super flattering (easy to wear alone while exercising, or underneath a dress), the dress was even prettier in person (a little complicated to put on at first, but I figured it out and it looks great on me and people are always commenting on it), and the earrings are simply adorable. It sounds like there's a risk in using Sammydress and that quite a few people had terrible experiences, but mine was relatively good and I'm ecstatic that I got that dress. I would just suggest getting something small at first and not blowing $100 in one go.

Really, you get what you pay for with this site.

My order went through without any problems, I knew that the processing time was slow so I didn't worry about it, I randomly received an email telling me it had been shipped, and I got my package about a week or so later.

The thing is, I only shopped for items with good reviews and I decided to be relaxed about the whole thing. I'm a very carefree person and I spend my own money so I don't feel too bad if an order doesn't come through or whatever. I took a chance with this site and 6/8 of the clothes I bought ended up working out amazingly. One of the shirts fabrics sucked and I'd never wear it, and another shirt hasn't come through yet but I got another email saying it was now being shipped. I don't have any hard feelings though.

If you don't like taking chances, stay away from this site. However, if you're like me and want to take a chance on some really cheap Chinese clothes, go for it(: You might be disappointed, but then again, you might end up with a freakin adorable teacup ring and an awesome hakunamatata sweatshirt.

I'm not sure how many more clothing articles I'll buy from here since it's not too dependable, but the jewelry is worth it, especially if you shop in the "free shipping" category.

I orded on 4/26 and my items werent shipped out until 4/22, It took a month+ for me to get my package which was supposed to contain 8 items. I only got 6, two of them werent even what I ordered. I was charged a $35 processing and shipping fee for what? The processing was supposed to be 3-7 business days max. And thats for a large order. Why did I get charged so much if it was going to Take so long and I still didnt recieve all of my items after a month of waiting. The two items I was missing I just asked for a refund, they told me allow up to 5-15 days! Wth?! It is now the 6th day. Ridiculous, wouldnt recommend to anyone.

I just placed my order about a week ago i have had issue with this site so far a couple of the things i ordered were out of stock but they emailed me and told me that and asked if i wanted them to wait to send my whole order or send what they had in stock then the rest later i told them i would wait for the whole order. As far as shipping cost i seen no difference between them and what i have paid for some stuff on amazon. I also think it all may depend on what country you live in i live in the u. S and they also offer shipping insurance as well witch is good. For the people that have had a bad time with them consider the fact the the site even states that the sell cheap items and depending on wear you live the shipping time and condition of your order may very. I how ever cant wait until i get what i orderd and when i do i will most likely write anther review saying the out come and condition of what i have ordered. Also just as a note amazon sells a few dresses from sammys too that's how i found them and i have eroded a couple from amazon and they are great i love them

Pros:
Everything they listed is cheap cheap cheap, and the models in the pictures always always cute cute cute which makes me want to keep buying.

Cons:
* Shipping process time is SLOW! The more you order the slower they process your order.
* Custom brokerage is HIGH! They declared full value of the package - they gave promotion discount, so you would think they will report the value after the discount, right? NO~ they don't, so each time it costs me around $50 bucks just so I can receive the so-called "cheap" clothes - not that cheap anymore if you add all the costs together.
* No payment confirmation ever emailed to me
* No shipping delivery notice ever emailed to me - I have to keep logging into their web to check if my order was sent
* No notification ever sent to me in any way regarding out of stock item - guess what, there's always at least 2 items in my order that's "out of stock". And if I didn't message them, they probably just gonna let it go
* Refund policy is LIMITED and SLOW - they promise to refund you rather quickly though, yet nothing really happens unless you really pushes it

Overall:
Waiting for my last refund, and that'll be it for me, don't wanna go back to their site, don't recommend anyone to shop from them unless you like the risks and enjoy people jerk you around!

*** For those who loves SammyDress and claim that they never had a problem with SammyDress yet, keep ordering and ordering a bunch of items from them~ Go ahead, and good luck with that!

I know many of you have had bad luck with them, and i dont blam you for being mad about it. But not everyone has had the same bad luck as you hae. I made about 3 different oder throught them and all have been ok. Yes it does take a longer time for you to get it then the time it say. But with many place that happens. Cant judge them based on that. And i have had it that i oder something that ended up not in stock, they do give refudes i know i have had it happen. Nor do i have to pay with just paypal or western i used a perpaid visa. You must also take into accout that your paying as much as 4$ for a shirt something. So its not always going to be the same as a 20 $ shirt its just the way it is. And no i dont work for sammy dress. Im a singel mom and live in canada. I shop with them cause i do get a cheaper price for things. Just make sure you follow the measuring they have and get a size bigger. To be on the safer side.
