Scam!

Please please please do not order from this company! I ordered a pair of boots back in December never received them called them and they said they were out of order which didn't make sense because I received a tracking number that they were on the way. I waited a month supposedly they were back in stock I had the guy ordered them over the phone for me got another tracking number never received them called them back and said they were unable to deliver them because the address was wrong somehow the guy screwed that up. Apparently they got sent back to the warehouse and was told that they had to send in a request that took 24 to 48 hours to respond back I've waited almost 2 weeks now I've had to call every day they're extremely rude to deal with and somehow this is now my fault and they're saying do you want the shoes or not? I said are you kidding me I've been wanting them send them to me... They promised they were going to overnight them but they are still waiting on some requests to hear back that they originally said will take 24 to 48 hours it's been almost 2 weeks! None of it makes sense everybody's read to deal with I find it very odd that every single person is a foreigner which makes me think that this company is not legit let's see if I get my money back because apparently there was never any issues to begin with because they never sent them! Save your money go somewhere else do not deal with this company. They promised they were going to overnight them but they are still waiting on some request to hear back that they originally said will take 24 to 48 hours it's been almost 2 weeks! I have experienced 2 of the worst customer services today: One was store associate and another one return customer service rep. Went to the store in KOP, PA and store associate was extremely rude to me ( I had to call store manager to file complaint first time in my life). I have called to online CS and a rep was not rude, she was basically helpless... I have purchased $400 worth of clothes and it turned out that 2 shirts were too small, so I wanted to exchange them if possible or return oif there is nothing else available. I have purchased items n December 25, but received them on the 29th. Today is January 29 and store associate took one of two items, but she said she could not take another one and suggested I call online CS. I have just called online CS and rep was just saying, there is nothing we can do... that's our policy. My point is: I did ordr on the 25th, but I only received items on the 29th, so the policy should start from the day you get your items. What if it was in transit for few weeks or lost? I
work with binch of companies, with buyers and various departments and very familiar with return policies. They all kick on the day you receive product, not when you have purchased it.
No wonder this chain has such low review rating and a bad reputation. I am closing my account and card, buy buy.
PS: I have both assocuiates names if anyone would be interested in further discussion ( very doubtful about it...)

The worst
June 7, 2022

I placed an order in May 25th, and on May 26th, I received an email that my order was shipped. A few days later, I checked the tracking and it showed only a shipping label was created. I then contacted their customer service number to get more clarification. They stated they would call me back within the same business day after getting a response from the warehouse. A call back did not occur, so I called back the next day. The representative I spoke to stated there was a response from the warehouse and they stated the order shipped, I reiterated that there is nothing on the tracking confirming that to be true. I asked them to send a replacement order because it was the following week and the order still wasn't showing it was received by the courier. I was then told they needed to launch an investigation. So I called back today, June 7th to see what was going on and I was told I was approved for a refund on June 3rd. They said I could reorder the items. I then checked the 3 items and one of them was out of stock, so clearly I could not reorder the items. At this point, I'm livid because had they replaced my order when I asked them to, I could have got my merchandise. Now I either have to go without the item, or I have to order it from their actual manufacture website and pay double the price, as Saks off 5th had it for half price. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and he claimed there was nothing they could do. I will never order anything from them again, their customer service is trash.

This company needs a complete overhaul. As it stands the customer service is so bad you would think you are dealing with a scam. When you call to report an issue you are speaking to an operator in South Africa to begin with and they are powerless to help. The website states that Shoprunner orders are free shipping and free returns, don't believe this. When you return an order via shoprunner 9.9 times out of 10 you are charged the return shipping of $9.95 per item, meaning if you have two items in the box they will try to charge for both. I fought them many times on this and only half the time got the erroneously charged shipping fees back and mostly from paypal customer service. Most recently I was seduced again into purchasing some shirts from them since the customer service offers discount codes in lieu of not being able to actually get you your money back. One of the items I purchased was not in the box even though the packing slip said it was. After several phone calls and emails to them, I finally had to resolve this issue using PayPal buyer protection which sided in my favor and forced the company to refund the money that way. I do recommend using PayPal to purchase on their site which has these protections and also has a return shipping program in case you are dealing with this absolutely horrible customer service. Also, when I tried to return some items in an actual store, the print out receipts from the website wouldn't work and it took the workers several minutes to figure out how to fix the mistakes. In conclusion, do not get seduced in shopping this Off 5th company online. Macy's and even Lord & Taylor online offer much better customer service and similar quality. Nordstrom Rack is also far superior. In other words, boycot them until they get their act together managing this company in a civilized way.

I ordered a sterling silver necklace with a Star of David pendant, and instead of sending the necklace and pendant that I had ordered, they sent me a CHEAP beaded bracelet! I went to submit a request for a return and a refund, and it stated that I can drive to the store and return it without shipping charges (store is about 40 minutes away... and CLOSED during the quarantine!), or I can pay a $10 shipping fee to return an item that I never ordered! I called customer service (after waiting on hold for an extended period of time), and the rep processed the return for me and waived the return shipping. At that point, I still wanted the jewelry so the rep placed the order again for me (had to charge my credit card again). I got the shipment yesterday, and IT WAS THE SAME CHEAP BEADED BRACELET THAT THEY HAD SENT THE FIRST TIME! At this point I was furious and wanted to just return the item and not purchase anything from them again. So, I called customer service again, this time, waiting on hold for 28 minutes and 54 seconds until I spoke with a customer service rep who could process my refund and waive the return shipping. I expressed my deep frustration with Saks and not once did I get an apology for the terrible service and the time I wasted for their mistakes! Never again!

Denied Refund after Package was delivered EMPTY!
December 28, 2022

I am so furious with saks off 5th! I placed an order on Dec 22 and received my package today (Dec 27). I spent almost $300 dollars for a14k yellow gold chain link bracelet as a present to my sister in law for her birthday coming up in the middle of January. I opened the package only to find a saks gift box and an empty dustbag inside the box! I immediately contacted customer service and told them what had happened. They asked me if the package was sealed and I said yes but the box inside the package was empty. She told me that she was going to file a claim which can take anywhere between 3-10 business days for someone to contact me and if "approved," it will take another 10-17 days for a refund. I asked customer service if they are just able to replace the item which she completely ignored. Not even a few hours later, I received an email stating that my claim was denied. Livid, I contacted customer service yet again and they said that their guidelines do not allow for a refund. I asked what their guidelines were and they completely ignored me. Their response was that because the package was delivered with proof of delivery that they cannot refund me. Again I stated to them that yes, it was delivered (in a timely manner surprisingly), but the contents of the package were completely empty and that I wanted them to investigate this further. Again I was ignored and the customer service rep ended the conversation. Honestly, this is complete and utter THEFT! Not only did they take my money, send me an empty package, they are also refusing to make it right by replacing the item or refunding me. Because of this, they have lost a long time customer. I will no longer be shopping here after this incident. They steal customers money in hopes that it doesn't get reported. This isn't the first time they have done something shady. Last time they double charged my credit card for the exact same amount on different days! It was like pulling teeth to get my money back. I actually had to go through my issuing bank to get it resolved and get my money back. Shame on Saks and their undeniably sketchy ways. They are crooks and thieves who just take your money without sending you the items you paid for!
