The two pairs of earrings came separately about a week apart; but, that is very common nowadays. One pair of earrings came in good condition. However, the gold over silver celestial earrings were dirty, very tarnished. I thought to return them at first. Since it was a Christmas gift, I didn't have time for exchanges. I got some jewelry cleaners that work on gold plating. It took an hour to clean the tarnish on something that should have come shiny. The yellow looked too dark when it arrived. One of the earrings looked like it had been worn before and left a dark grey mark, because no one cleaned it before packing it for sale. It was disgusting and disappointing. I thought to contact the company and the Better Business Bureau depending on the response. If the heavy tarnish didn't come off, I would have done so.This is never how jewelry should be sold anywhere.

The earrings took a very long time to arrive via USPS. Once they were received my wife immediately saw that one of the hoop earrings was bent and unacceptable. These were 18k Italian gold 1" hoop earrings an we expected them to b3 better quality. We called customer service and requested a return reference number, which we received, however they did not follow up with a USPS return label via email which they said they would. This was a disappointing experience overall.
Just as I was imagining from the online pictures. Just the right size and light weight in solid gold. At first one fastener was very stubborn and I was afraid I'd bend the earring in trying to secure it or remove it. But after about 5-6 wearings its now broken in. The other side the arm is floppy and does not come straight down into the cradle which can be annoying but I've gotten used to it. Otherwise very flattering and I wear them often.
By ordering two items, I can give my sweetheart one of them upon receipt and still have the second one as a surprise (or for a specific occasion)
