Ordered plug wires from them, sent me the wrong type and brand, trying to return is a nightmare, was able to use the wires but never do business with them again.

We purchased a rebuild alternator from RockAuto it went bad in 15 days. Had to buy another wait for refund (hope it comes) and paid another 218.50 to the mechanic for the second R&R. DO NOT BUY REBUILDS from Rock Auto
This company is a joke, seriously. There is no customer service, none, zero, nada!. I purchased rotors and brake pads for my wife's car, it has been a month already since I did it and there is no way to report an issue in a timely manner, they advertised themselves that piece of software as most efficient but the fact of the matter is that it is quite bad. They force you to use their piece of junk system. The problem with my order is that in accordance to Carrier, the shipper meaning Rockauto damaged the package so Fedex said contact the shipper, so I used their system to report the issue and they kept telling for 2 weeks that my shipment was on its way and it was not, it was stocked in Fedex for 2 weeks! I purchased the part in Jun 28 and today is July 20! And there is no person you can talk with. I've been waiting for 12 days for a refund. My package has been sitting at fedex for 7 days. These ppl are full of $#*! and I see why they don't have any customer service because they are a company that will rip you off when you ask for a refund! Avoid like the plague. I bought a Deka Intimidator battery for $200, it was DOA, sulfated and with only half a charge. I was expected to pay to ship the item back for refund, and I already paid to have the dead battery arrive at my house. I went through the Deka warranty company to have a replacement paid for by the manufacturer. RockAuto does not answer its phone, and it has ZERO customer service. Just an automated thingy wanting you to pay to send their trash back and the option to buy a second piece of trash to replace the first one. Terrible, Terrible, avoid at all costs. **Update 6-6-2020** East Penn Manufacturing (The manufacturer of this Deka battery) did not stand behind their product, and I received no replacement from them, I will never buy anything from Rock Auto Parts or East Penn again.
Opened the box and it looks just like the picture. Plastic already cut loose. Bolt on top punctured a hole in the box because it was loose inside the box.
A package was delivered to the wrong address and returned to shipper, so Rockauto charged me for the cost of shipping it to the wrong place and to return it to them.
I will never order from rock auto ever again. They'll just take your money and don't care about you at all.

REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE! With these people. I placed an order for some brakes on my car and everything fit besides the brake rotors. I sent the rotors back for an exchange and they sent me the same rotors again. I then sent them an email explaining that I did not want those rotors and that I'd like my money back. It was a real hassle trying to get them to give me my money back because I wasn't happy with their service. They told me they would give me store credit but I declined. So because I declined that they just completely ignored my messages and canceled my return ticket. Now I'm stuck with these rotors that I've got no use for, they kept my money, and there's no way to contact a supervisor or anyone because they don't have a customer service line. Everything is through email and if they want (just like they did to me) they can just ignore you and leave you hanging.

They listed the wrong part on their site. They then give no option for that error when attempting tonreturn and I have to pay to ship back. No way to contact an actual person.

I ordered a clutch for my Subaru Legacy. The clutch that they say fits on the website is completely wrong. It is actually a clutch for a Impreza STi. The Subaru mechanic took one look at it in the box and knew it wouldnt fit, that is how far wrong it is to the correct part. RockAuto has NOBODY available in a customer service department. NOBODY. You can not even speak to any human at all. They also have the audacity to make a customer pay to return an item that they shipped wrong!
So, they list parts incorrectly, do not have a person available to speak to, then will not make good on it, and force the customer to pay out of pocket to return in order to get a refund. I could understand if I purchased the wrong part. But they flat out list the wrong parts on there site!

Recently ordered front brakes for my vehicle, 2018 Ford Explorer, looked at numerous brakes for my vehicle and came upon an upgraded carbon fiber ceramic brake, checked the fit 3 times … it was pricey $45 for the brakes $10 for shipping and tax … get brakes 3 days later drive to my shop 17 miles away, heat up shop, jack front end up, take both tires off, figure 2 hour job max …. Lo and behold they sent the totally wrong brakes, had to put tires back on, unjack vehicle, drive back to home … tried to call, text or get hold of human being, no luck, nobody human …
Ended up finding an email address and found out how to print label and send it back ….
Just got notice today stating refund was issued / looked at the amount, they kept the charge on for shipping both ways to me about $20, I am really not a cheapskate, but those people at rock auto made the mistake of sending the wrong item, they should pay the shipping cost both ways, and give me an additional $10 credit for the whole hassle!
Just beware of the way this company operates, if there is a problem it's yours and no human being to speak with … not happy!

The bolt round not square(positioning) it is in the wrong place(see pics) therefore the sensor sits rotated hitting the hub as it turns.
I tried the warranty and they want to send the same crap, when I said not the right part they deemed it my problem, the pics do not show the side view as the other parts do. Thought i saved a little bur NOT WORTH IT
