I have a 99 villager I order the fan blade assembly for it in about 2 months after the fan blade came off and I could not return the assembly RockAuto no way to reach them they need to have someone to talk to sometimes fan blade is poorly made

RockAuto customer service will not respond
March 5, 2024

On 12/23/23 I ordered a O2 sensor from this company and it was delivered Order Number *******

After putting the part in my car the problem still remained unfortunately. I troubleshooted the problem to the best of my knowledge as I'm not a extremely trained mechanic but I'm savvy enough.

To further steps to make sure there was nothing else I could do and then I took it into a mechanic. That professional mechanic informed me that the brand new part that I bought was tested as faulty and needed to be replaced for the car to be working properly again. This is of course 500$ later for diagnosis and part replacement cost.

After reaching out to RockAuto about the issue and requesting a refund they stated that since it's past their 30 days policy they are unable to refund. I considered that to be extremely favorable to their own business model. To be able to install a part, test it, and verify that it is working all within 30 days is completely unreasonable for the common person. This policy obviously benefits RockAuto.

I paid about 60$ for the part So it should not be such a terrible ask to get a refund.

I reach out to customer service and they are refusing to respond.

I orderd a $20 part and paid $10 shipping. They send you an email that your part is undeliverable, refund you for the part keep the shipping costs. We recieve packages all of the time and never have one undeliverable. Also, the email was sent a day before the part was actually supposed to arrive at my location.

A BAD CAT
August 17, 2020

As a shop owner of 23 years purchased A Catalatic converter from these guys after gettting it on could not get exhaust leak and kept coding p0420-p0430 which these clowns said thats hardly ever a converter in the end they wont take it back would not recommend ordering from these guys save yourself a headache.

I find what I need then google part number, NO one has EVER been cheaper.
Purchased, coils,all suspension the components, body panels, you name it, I have Never bought the CHEAPEST part they have. Buying The cheapest part made for a repair is never a good idea. But name brand parts, I have had ZERO issues. Love Rockauto,

Ok, the negative reviews got to be by either auto parts stores or people buying the least $ parts. I've only had one return I ordered more than i needed, and the credit to my account, "my choice" was no issue 6 months later when I ordered again. I have never bought the least $ parts. When I find what I want i look it up at local parts stores, and ALWAYS have bought at rockauto. Example, this week i bought 6 iridium NGK 6441 they were $6.00 each at rock auto $12.00 each at Autozone, O'reilly, and advance auto parts. I bought 6 NGK coils at $19.00 each, they cost $49.00 EACH at the parts stores. I have ordered for about 15 years, I have recommended to the construction crews I work with, and no one has EVER said anything bad.
It's your money.

I Purchased an Airtex LR3004 and Airtex E3581M Fuel Pump Assembly for $159. THe part is twice as large as my unit and will not fit in the fuel tank. There is no customer service phone number and the online system will not allow a return since it is all automated. This is very frustrating!

False advertising

I ordered a bushing kit because their description said it included all of the parts I needed. They admitted it was their mistake and refunded the cost of the parts and tax but only returned 50 cents for the shipping. Because they want to charge me a rediculous amount for their slow shipping it is cheaper to buy the correct part locally. If not for their false advertising I would have ordered the more expensive part that did have all of the parts I needed and wouldn't be expected to pay so much more in shipping. Their customer service agents are stupid and useless with no sense of right or wrong. Because of their false advertising and crappy customer service this first time customer is now a last time customer.

What...you want defective parts replaced?

RockAuto shipped a set of wires and a cabin air filter to me.It was in the middle of the winter so I waited a while for a warm day to swap out the wires. It was my mistake to wait over 30 days. I installed the new wires and the car ran worse than ever. Take the intake manifold back off and double check the wires on the back, They seemed good. Put the intake manifold back on and same thing. Finally after closely examining each wire I found that one of the ends was misshapen. Called Rockauto for exchange. Sent it back to Rockauto at triple the original shipping cost. Rockauto sends out another set of wires, These ones work. Then was charged again for shipping for the wires I returned. Refused to pay 7 dollars and change. Now Rockauto wants almost 50 dollars for shipping.

These people are very dishonest. There is ZERO customer support, and any issues must be addressed in the small area they allow for comments and questions. If you want bad parts shipped with an attitude Rockauto is the place to go! And Rockauto makes it VERY expensive to return their defective parts.

I ordered a water pump yesterday@ 10:08. Paid for it and Fed-X delivery for today, which was confirmed on my order. I learned tonight, a little after 5 pm there is NO customer service of any kind or any way to contact them for help. Help page says nothing can be done about it, because it shipped. Tracking page says it hasn't left yet. I checked their reviews WAY too late. The BEST rating I saw they have on ANYTHING is 2 1/2 stars! The rest is 1 star. Save yourself the grief. BUY FROM SOMEONE WITH SOME INTEGRITY!

Bad customer service

The parts I ordered came in wrong and since it was the last one I had to return it and order new parts at an additional cost of $50 and they too came in with parts missing…when I called customer service they really had a "I don't care" attitude…will spend my money elsewhere

I ordered a part from RockAuto using Next Day Express Shipping and the web site indicated that I should receive the part by a specific date. The part was late and RockAuto's response was that they do not guarantee shipping. Other companies such as Amazon do guarantee shipping, this was disappointing and I will not do business with them again.

NO customer service

Ordered gas struts for lift gate. Part fit but pressure was way high, impossible for my wife. All they would do is replace with same part. NO person you can talk to. Save your money look elsewhere.

You can not email, chat, or phone anyone at RockAuto. If you have any problems outside of the narrow options in their return/warranty process there is no way to contact anyone for help.

Mistake

Not impressed

Constantly late on their delivery times. Even when paying for expedited shipping. Returns are very cost prohibitive. I will be returning to using local parts dealers from now on.

Paid $400.00 for an exhaust system that was good for sh%t after it was thrown out the back of a truck during delivery DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BOGUS SUPPLIER the parts are not new the are returns that were damaged in shipping or by crock auto trying to stick them up each others a#s's any who BUYER BEWARE! I've purchased from them several times before and was very satisfied with their products and service. However, this last time has been rather problematical. Ordered the part, used to correct numbers for the vehicle. Received shipment rather promptly, right part # on the box. (Water Pump for a 2002 Chevy Tahoe 5.3L) Part that's packed in the box is for completely different model. Now I understand mistakes happen. While very inconvenient as this sets things back a bunch, I'm pretty reasonable. I put in for return, it's accepted. But the return label won't print. Check printer, printer is working fine. Try several more times, still won't print label correctly.
So here's my problem with RockAuto. They have virtually no customer service. No one to contact to resolve problems other than than the automated on line CS. While I can forgive a mistake, their lack of ability to connect with their customers when mistakes happen have definitely created some trust issues for me. I would be very wary of ordering from them again and am now much less likely to recommend them.
