I'll never buy anything from here again!

I received the documents to return a purchase and sent it and the garments USPS. They said they couldn't issue a refund because I didn't have tracking info. $70 down the drain because they said I couldn't prove it arrived at their warehouse. Complete BS!

Poor customer service

The bathing suits said they were delivered and I did not receive them. When I contacted retro stage they told me to file a report with the USPS. I did and USPS investigated and said that since they were not shipped with insurance, retro stage was responsible. When I sent retro stage the report they said they must have been stolen and after many emails said they would send me more if I paid shipping again. I asked if that would be expedited or insured bc it had already been about 6 weeks since I ordered them and it was for an upcoming vacation that was soon, they never responded. I had ordered something else from another company that never arrived and they immediately sent me an expedited replacement with no hoops to jump through. Big difference. Later the USPS did recover them and they are nice but I will never order again because of customer service and the lack of help.

I ordered 2 bathing suits and both came in horrible quality. They are stitched together poorly and are made of low quality fabric along with buttons that don't even match the color of the garment. If that couldn't get any worse, the person who I talked to in regards to returns was extremely unprofessional and rude. Will never buy from them ever, don't waste your money! They are the worst!

Scam! Do not shop there!

Super low quality made in China crap and rips after one gentle cycle wash. Colors not the same as the photos on their site do not buy a total waste of money but if for one use than it's ok.

Company full of lies

I finally made a order and looked forward to my two dresses. Order number is on photos as couldn't post. I knew it would take a long time but dress finally arrived. However the first dress arrived with sitching coming from the seems. Upsetting but ok it could be fixed. A month or so later dress two comes not only did it look nothing like photo it was much smaller than other dress although the same size. I left several reviews / updates on trust pilot were i get bot responses saying they couldn't find order number or they answered emails and should check spam. Suprise nothing there. I opened a paypal case but the company said if i return at my cost of more tha. 50 euros they will refund. Which is not an acceptable response. Not to mention i have to return to us but dresses shipped from china. There will be a utube video review to also fallow.

Avoid this site. Sizing chart lies, phone number goes to a random elderly medical device service, customer service through email is argumentative at best with zero help. Do not waste your money with these people!

So I've ordered a few outfits n accessories from RS n mostly the stuffs been ok, the sizes n quality are hit n miss so I've had to return items-their website states they have a no problem return policy but they DO NOT! I returned a pair of shoes bc their women's 7 is not US 7, a skirt bc the top part of the skirt where the buckle is was sewn on inside out! Hit n miss, I returned a pair of shorts n tank top (all went /the shoes n all were not good quality) n oc I messaged them etc. however the tracking number accidentally got thrown away so I've contacted them over n over to either give me the warehouse number that's here in California or they could contact the warehouse and their response is outrageous! They say they have no way of contacting their own warehouse-seems super fishy, so basically they are refusing to even look n have told me sorry but I'm out of luck n they are not going to assist me in making a return-bc they don't want to give me my money back so here I am hoping this gets out n people don't waste their money on this company-shop elsewhere n make sure it's not affiliated with Retro Stage!

We are sorry to hear you say this, unfortunately, we clearly reminded you in the return instructions provided to you, please make sure to provide the return tracking number before returning the product so that we can verify your return with the warehouse, but you did not follow the return instructions, and has been refusing to provide a return tracking number, without a return tracking number we cannot verify your return, nor can we confirm that you returned the package and that if the return arrived at our warehouse, If you can also put a screenshot of the return instructions we provide you in the comments, we believe this can better explain the problem.

Horrible Experience
August 15, 2023

I ordered two bathing suits from this company and only received one of them. They were shipped separately for whatever reason and the second was almost a week late and never reached me. Customer service was not helpful at all and wanted me to do all the work plus went as far as to advise to literally go check with neighbors? That is dangerous here in the US. I'm not trying to get shot by some lunatic. Please do not buy from this company. They say they are in the US but everything is shipped from China with a horrible tracking app where you can't even get updates. If your item is lost in transit, they will not care at all and provide the worst customer service possible. Their items are also overpriced for the quality. I will never be shopping at Retro Stage again. Lesson learned...

The quality of the clothes were terrible and they didn't fit. So I contacted them to ask about how to return and they told me I had to actually send photos of me in the clothing! Which I did. It then took them a while to respond. Ultimately, I had to pay $50 for shipping them back and then got the run around when trying to get the actual refund. It has been over three weeks since they've received the items and no refund. This is a terrible company both in product and service.

Absolute Scam

This shop is an absolute scam DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. If i could have given negative stars I definitely would have. Although their items are cute, they are so poorly made and the sewing is of such low quality that they will actually FALL APART while on your body. If you contact customer service they do literally everything in their power not to refund you and if you try to call the customer service number nobody answers. They say that their working hours are 9-5 yet they only respond to your emails in the middle of the night between 2-4am which still not not fall into working hours with the time difference so they definitely are not from america like they claim to be. I have been going back and forth with them for over a month now since they only answer when i'm sleeping and constantly take "much needed vacations" but i have had enough. I will be opening a lawsuit against them and I have more than enough evidence to win. If you guys would also like to join please contact me and we can take them down together. What they're doing is not right, it's not fair and it's fraud.

Ships from overseas

I have been trying to reach this company and customer service is very lacking. I placed an order and it doesn't state in the ordered process how long the item might take. Once you place the order you can see it takes 15-30 business days. You also receive an email that tells you it can take a long time. I immediately emailed them asking to cancel my order. I sent another email also offering to switch the item with something that comes from their US warehouse if they are unwilling to cancel. They replied next day and said I could switch and I immediately responded and said the swimsuit I wanted to switch with. It's now the next day and I emailed again and get an out of office message. It's 10am CT….the email states they are enjoying their weekend and won't be back till Monday the 17th and to call the customer service line if you need assistance. I called the line and no answer. Honestly, I'm not sure who runs this company but the customer service setup and website need work. You should highlight how you have multiple warehouses and some items take a very long time to ship. Not wait till people order to send an email. I will not be ordering from this company again and until my order gets fixed I won't be adjusting any of my reviews.

Wish I had read reviews before buying

I got two bathing suits for two of my teenage daughters. The medium fit and we kept it. The small size was larger than the medium and didn't fit at all. Wrote to them to request the refund. They basically said no. Beware of their poor quality control and problematic return process. Will never buy from this site again.

This company tries to hide the fact that they are overcharging for cheaply, poorly made items that are shipped directly from China. I received the item I paid $66 for and it was of very poor quality and not as described on the website. I contacted their support asking for a refund, and they offered to send me another item that I could pay an additional $15 for and keep the original item. They also offered 2 other alternatives that involved me not receiving a refund (stating that they "care about the environment" and don't want the package to have to be shipped back). I had to ask for the address to return my item to because I wanted the refund. I then had to pay to send the item back, provide them with the the shipping company and tracking number, then I was told that I needed to tell them when the item was received at their warehouse before receiving my refund. When the item I sent back was delivered, I emailed them and received no response or refund. I then emailed them again, and I still have not heard back. I would absolutely not recommend that anyone order from this company because you will not get what you are paying for, and because they try every available avenue to avoid refunding your money, even when you follow all of the ridiculous steps that they require.

Good quality, I can't complain

Purchased a matching bathing suit and wrap. Great quality, unique piece. The suit is double-layered with sturdy, opaque fabric––the white parts are not see-through. Nice zipper on the wrap. It took about a month to arrive to Canada. I would just say to be sure that you get the right size, since returns will likely be a hassle.

I ordered two swimsuits for my granddaughter's honeymoon. She tried one on and within 30 minutes two buttons fell off and the seam in the back broke apart. When I contacted customer service to replace the suit (my granddaughter loved the look of the swimsuit), they had the audacity to ask me if she should have ordered a bigger size, implying her weight was what caused the buttons to come off and the seam to split. When I assured them, I do not, they then said I would have to pay shipping to return the defective suit. The second suit's quality was fine. That's the only reason they're getting two stars. Horrible customer service.

The material of the clothes are cheap, the sizing guide is not accurate, there is no refund policy (though they pretend there is), and most important of all... customer service sucks. Overall, do not buy from this shop! They are traumatic!
