It's helps a lot when getting a cover letter and a resume done but if they are going to make you pay a one time fee of $1.95 just to get it sent to you, you shouldn't have to charge them 40$ every month after. There is NO ONE who is going to need to enter that account every month. And now I've been waiting for my refund for almost two weeks now and still haven't seen it. This is a joke.
Used website to build decent looking resume. But then I asked for critique to improve it and I got extremely general feedback like "go read our tips for career objectives at [URL]"... except I already used their website to build that career objective so it should already meet their criteria/suggestions.
I shouldn't have to enter credit card info and sign up for a free trial to just get directed to look at their website more.
If I thought I could handle my resume myself, I would have just done it myself and not asked for assistance.

The page kept glitching. The words I was typing was popping up twice so in other words my sentences for my job description would look like this: I once worked at Goodwill Industries an I had to sort through clothesclothes. My page kept freezing up an it kept making me fill in blanks I had already filled in.
Looking for a job is hard, resume genius made it easy. They really helped my resume when i thought i had tried everything.
I tried a dozen apps before this one and they were hard to use. The only functions you wanted weren't available with out paying a lot of money. This one was amazing
One of the hardest things to do is describe yourself, and your job responsibilities in a way that works for hiring professionals as well as the robots that scan through the resume piles. This service took a lot of the pain our of resume creation. It takes it one step at a time, suggests keywords for many common industry related tasks, and allows for easy edits and resume duplication. Even got a brief look over by a rep to fine tune it a little more during my trial. I'd recommend this service.
This is Hawre, I just subscribed befor as one website visitors in CVgenius.co.uk only for building one cover letter so it took me 2$ was ok, but the bad thing is it took me 39.9$ after two weeks, in addition i haven't registered for any stuff like that, this is illegally.
You will be dissapointed in the service, will not be able to cancel, and will rack up recurring charges. The only way to cancel is to change your card number so that the recurring charges cant come through anymore.

The way their website was set up with the 14 day trial, a few months ago, it made it seem like we were paying for the $1.95 TRIAL PERIOD that would expire after 14 days. We were charged two months without our knowledge and as soon as we found out, we requested to cancel the account. I have never been more disrespected by a customer service team. They were incredibly rude, basically called us stupid for not knowing we were being charged. AND they refused a refund! They are able to see when the site was used last, it was the same day we signed up. Terrible, terrible companies. There are much better options, for much less money!
Resumegenius will bill your account monthly- WITHOUT ever sending a receipt. This is a purposeful tactic to keep getting your $39.95 month and hope it goes unnoticed. It did- my bad, but companies that are truthful will send a receipt after the deduction from your credit card. No refunds and no account updates. Unconscionable.
As stated below this site is a FRAUD. Waste your time and energy then BLAME YOU for it. Horrible crooks. Reported them to FBI. Luckily saved some proof and have a witness.
The site is nice, maybe not worth $40 dollars. They helped me out do a cover letter which was helpful, but it doesn't justify the price. Just did a free trial and wanted to cancel before it was over, but I had difficulties getting into my account during the free trial despite saving my password to log back in. Luckily they have a terrific customer service team that responded immediately and were very helpful in processing a refund for me. Happy and grateful they were understanding.
