I have already posted about the horrendous money looting experience I had with them. Their social media representative immediately addressed my issue and sent some private messages which is completely irrelevant. They did not have any valid reason for grabbing my money without my knowledge
They simply says the term " AUTO - DEBIT" for this fraudulent activity.
Friends, please stay away from them. I lost my hard earned money. They looted me with the term "auto debit".
Once you signed up for the subscription, it means you are giving them the license to cheat yourself!.
I lost my money!. I lost my money!
After NOT being notified about any fees I would be charged, I messaged the company and ended up talking to a very rude customer service rep who told me I'm out of luck and made jokes towards me. I finally got a number to call someone and he was little to no help because it wasn't "his area". I was unable to get a refund because it was "past the billing date." DUH! IF I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN AN EMAIL ABOUT THE BILLING DATE I WOULD HAVE CANCELLED BEFORE! And plus in order to revived a refund I would have been charged, meaning it'd be past the billing date?!?!
This company charged my card WITHOUT permission and denied any responsibility. DO NOT USE. After reading other reviews, I'm cancelling my card so they can't continue to charge me.
We are very sorry you did not have the best customer service experience. We will be more than glad to assist you. We have sent you a private message so we can further assist your concerns in a secure manner.

Although the resume itself was fine, when I tried closing my account with them, I saw that I was still being billed the next month. I used their live chat option to see why it wasn't cancelled and the guy left me on hold while he "checked my account" for 20 minutes before asking me why I was cancelling and to hold again while he "checks my account". Then again he asks if I'm still there after another 15 minutes. I responded yes and he said you don't have to cancel now, because your account is expired. And there are no refunds. NO REFUNDS FOR THE MONTH THEY BASICALLY STOLE MY MONEY FROM ME! I had to pay an extra month after I ceancelled with them for no reason. He left me hanging for another 10 minutes to tell me that. So I pretty much sat on hold while this guy ate his lunch, maybe had a bathroom break, laughed about it with his coworkers, what ever he was doing while I waited. Because my time isn't as valuable as my money. So I'd avoid the headache and high blood pressure by not dealing with these chumps and get your resume written another way. It's an expensive service I wished I didn't use. There are other ways of getting a nice resume template.
We are sorry that you had this experience with the service and that you had troubles with the cancellation process of your account. We are very committed to providing great customer service. I canceled my trial account via their web page with an acknowledgement that I was canceling. But I never received a email confirming my cancelation. Then on the 10th I was charged $49 more dollars the company says they can't refund my money because I never canceled. They are not acknowledging the cancelation I did through their email process. They never answer their live chat feature. If my money is not refunded by Monday I will be going down to my bank to file a fraud alert.
Do not give this company your cc info. If you have already file a fraud alert against them.
We're very sorry that you have had this experience with our service. We offer several ways to cancel including by phone, live chat, email and self-cancellation in your Account Settings.
Cancellation stops the auto-renewal. Once it’s canceled, we send a cancellation confirmation email for your records. There are times that auto emails can get picked up as spam or junk mail. Be sure to check your spam/junk mail folder. If you didn't received the confirmation via email then the cancellation was not process properly and we still have other ways to cancel the subscription including the direct contact to our customer service phone department.
We are very committed to providing great customer service and again are very sorry that you had this experience. We take all feedback very seriously. It will be forwarded to our Marketing team. We will send you a private message if you need further assistance.

I created a resume to my satisfaction and happily paid the $1.95, not notified that this would automatically sign me up for a membership costing $40/month. Once I realised money was being wrongfully taken from my account, I deactivated my Resume-Now account, as the website said this would stop the charges. However, this company continued to steal money from my account and is still doing so. I have lost a total of $200 and have contacted the company demanding that this amount be refunded, but they have been very unprofessional. The downloaded resume didn't even work with Microsoft Word. I ended up creating a resume from scratch, and it turned out much better than anything offered on this site.
We are really sorry you had this eperience with our service. We are very committed in providing great customer service. We sent you a private message so we can help you achieve a timely resolution.

I too have been a victim for Resume-Now wrongful and sneaky ways. I used their website x1 to print out 1 resume for $1.95.
Next thing I know 4 months have been charged $43.83.
My refund will be given to me rightfully so. I have filed a complaint to Federal Trade Council, BBB and now am getting the word out online.
This company needs to change or disappear yesterday!

After 2 weeks of emails and showing that I should only be charged 1 week I have gotten the run around. My bank says this is normal practice for this site and that I need to cancel my card so they can't charge anymore. Totally deceptive, I will be writing to Better Business Bureau
I’m very sorry that you have had this experience with our service. We explain that the subscription is auto-renewing. The service is awful, kept having technical difficulties on the site and I was constantly told to try again in an hour. Ended doing the resume without the help of their service.
Cancelling the service is just as difficult. Do not use, there are enough free services and appts that will do the resume for you at no cost. I learned my lesson!

I do admit that I should have read reviews and I should have cancelled within the 14 days. I do admit that I forgot and that part is on me. What i can't stand is the fact that I read after the 14 days would be 9.99, not 39.99! That is A LOT of money! I am trying to land a job to MAKE money. NOT spend a bunch for something that I already created. The gal i talked to was fine. I can't stand the policies. And they have NO trouble pointing out to you that YOU were wrong. I learned my lesson!
Dani, we take all feedback very seriously and apologize for any confusion this might have risen. We state this on every page in the purchase process and we send a payment confirmation email stating the date and amount of the auto- renewal. This is the standard response. Awful. It states you will be billed $9.95 a week. No where is the full amount printed. It is obvious that they are scamming. If they weren't, they would be upfront about the MONTHLY price.
I called customer service when I noticed a pending payment, before the payment even posted. No other reputable business operates this way. I will repost to BBB and social media. May even dispute on credit card.
Hello Carolyn H, We are sorry that you feel that way. The statement in the page indicate that the 14 days access will cost you a total amount of $1.95 and that will give you the ability to create unlimited additional resumes or resume variations, unlimited printing and downloading for 14 days and in bullets we indicate that the subscription auto-renew after 14 days for $9.95 per week billed every 4 weeks (28 days) as well that you can cancel it at any time. When you are processing the payment we clearly state that yo can access the account for 14 days and if you're not satisfied we'll refund your money (during those 14 days). Unless you cancel, you authorize us to charge you every 4 weeks at the then current rate. Depending on where you are, foreign exchange fees may apply. I am completely disgusted by this company. I paid $1.95 to make and print a resume ONE time. I received a receipt for the $1.95 charge via email. The company then charges my credit card $40 for 3 months. I never received any other email or statements etc. when I called to complain and get a refund they only credited back one month's worth. Why would I want this for 3 months if I just wanted to make a "FREE" resume! Customer service was terrible and I was sent a form letter email stating there is nothing more they can do. I will be disputing the charges with my credit card company! To take money sneakily from people trying to find employment is so wrong and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Wish I would have read these reviews before dealing with this company. This site advertises a free resume, which turns out to not be free in any way. I made my resume and agreed to pay the $1.95 for the 14 days so I would be able to print a copy, but a couple of weeks later was charged $40! The terms and conditions are not clearly displayed when you're making your initial payment, and the entire thing is just very deceptive and dishonest.
When I emailed customer service to explain my disappointment I was told by an unnamed "customer service representative" in a very generic copy-and-pasted email that this was my fault and there would be no refund. Now I'm going to have to dispute this with my credit card company.

This is a scam! Do not use this service. They charged me $45, and when you try to contact them, you're put through a loop with a representative to speak to. I needed this money for food and groceries, and had no idea it was going to be randomly withdrew from my account. In my opinion, this is stealing.

I've never felt so scammed. I just needed help to write a nice looking resume, granted, it helped me. However, it charged me $39.80 after I canceled my subscription and paid the original $1.95! Extremely upset about this, and I will be sure to let people know about this, absolutely ridiculous. Would rate zero if I could.

They advertise a free resume service but suck you in by creating a monthly subscription for you. They then charge your credit card with the information you provide and rip you off! Make sure you know what you are signing up for... a free resume sure but comes with a monthly fee of $47 charged on your card. Beware!
