Nonresponsive

Ordered gift November 27. When delivery was delayed, I sent two emails to customer service asking for an update but there was never a response. On December 23, Reserve Bar sent a form email saying essentially, "Sorry - we can't fill your order. Here's a $20 coupon for your next purchase." Seems like Reserve Bar has operational, communication and logistical issues that need to be fixed if they want to be a reliable and dependable company.

Do they have customer service?

Contacted Customer service via email 4 times over the last 3 weeks and have yet to receive a response other than the generic "thank you for contacting ReserveBar". A phone call did not lead to any information either, even though I was told the issue would be "escalated" to gain "clarity". Product was ordered in November with a ship date of early January. Product is in stock and a shipping label was created 4 weeks ago, but has yet to be picked up by the carrier. It was paid for in December yet it doesn't seem like anyone has any clue where the product is, who is distributing it, or who is delivering... I've lost faith in ReserveBar

Buyer beware
December 11, 2021

Made a purchase six days ago. They took my money without a issue at all. I haven't heard back from them since. I have written two emails requesting and update and left one message via phone call.
I understand everything is on a cargo ship off the left coast but c'mon give me some form of update.
Anything... a smoke single, a telegraph - anything.

I ordered a bottle of vintage champagne as a thank you gift for a friend who had helped with my wedding. She instead received a bottle of Hennessy. When I alerted ReserveBar about this, they demanded a screenshot, which thankfully I was able to get. They will also require her to return the bottle unopened and in good condition or I will get charged for it. I have no control over what other people do, making this a high risk situation.

This will be my first and last time ordering from ReserveBar again, as it is something I would only use for gifts, and with their policies the gifts have too high a chance of being pricier than I would ever intend.

Order was placed on 12/9/2020. Order actually shipped 12/31. Emailed on 12/21 requesting an update and canned reply said all orders placed before 12/15 would arrive before Christmas. Emailed again on 12/23 with another canned reply for delays in shipping and to please be patient.
Order was delivered by FedEx on 1/3 to the wrong address. Emailed on 1/4 and 1/8 with no replies from ReserveBar. Finally ended up messaging ReserveBar on Instagram on 1/22 and got a response.
Second order shipped 2/4. Packing list said all items were shipped and yet it was missing one of them.

No delivery

I ordered a special whiskey as a gift on 12/7/22. As of 12/30/22, the order has not been shipped. I have called reserve bar and no one answers the phone. They tell you to email or text. I have sent 3 emails, 2 texts and still get no response. The website for track order does not provide any info either. However, they were quick to take my money. This is either the worst customer service ever or it is only a scam and they have no intention of delivering any goods.

I will NEVER order from these ppl again. Worst customer service ever! Ordered a bottle with glasses as a surprise gift and glasses came but no bottle. Surprise ruined. To top it off there is no ETA for the shipment of the bottle. These people are clueless! They can't tell you anything about the products, can't tell you anything about your order, nothing about the shipping and a manager is never available and no one ever calls you back when they say they will. Johnnie Walker should be ashamed to have Reserve Bar ship their products. Really puts the brand to shame. Save your money and you're time order else where.

Failed in every possible way

Placed an initial order 12/29/22, contacted a week later when a vendor had yet to be selected, two weeks out one was selected but still no shipment, three, four weeks on and after I email both vendors, they reply that they are sorry and it will be handled that day. Five, six weeks on and still nothing. The vendor selected has a phone that is busy 24/7 and an online chat that goes nowhere.

I spent $190 on a special bottle of Scotch for a special occasion. 3 weeks later, no Scotch, and occasion long past. ReserveBar customer services response? "Call the shipping company yourself." I did. That shipping company had no record of the "tracking number" ReserveBar gave me, and does not even deliver to the state of the delivery address. Please do not shop here unless you have a lot of time to waste, and you don't care when your purchase is delivered.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

This was the absolute worst purchase and customer service experience I have ever had. I ordered a 12 year Macallan on 12/2/20, and it just arrived today on 1/6/21. The delivery driver did not ask for signature even though one is required. The driver just left it on the doorstep and did not knock (we have been home all day). I called and emailed their customer support multiple times to cancel this order and be refunded. I have email confirmation that this order was cancelled, yet it still showed up today. I am currently in the process of trying to get a refund, but I have yet to hear back. Don't bother trying to call their customer service number. The lines just rings, rings, rings, then finally hangs up. Go to their profile on the Better Business Bureau, and you will see the truth about this company as you read the reviews.

We do ask all of our shipping partners to get signatures however due to the pandemic many have gone against our wishes and drivers have left items without signatures due to safety concerns. Late arrival

Poor Experience

As a first time customer I ordered a few bottles to try this service. The shipping time was acceptable and the prices were fair, but I ordered a 1L bottle and they shipped the smaller 750ml bottle. The support person was not helpful at all and just passed the blame to the company doing shipping and told me to return the bottles. It's not worth my time to go through this hassle and effort. This is obviously a scam (advertising one item and shipping another), so I would not recommend using this company and it's shady business practices.

Company is a joke!

I placed an order 12/24/23 have contacted them 2 times with complaints over lack of communication on my shipment. I received a email yesterday saying I should have on Monday. I will never use them again. Normally I've ordered from quality liquor and I've never had issues with them. Website says order ships in 2 days that is bull!

I placed an order 2/10/20. I noticed that I haven't heard anything from them 2/19/20. I emailed them for order status and date i can expect the gift to be delivered. They responded 2/20/20 saying they needed an alternate email and phone number to process my order and never answered my question. I sent alternate info and asked why my order is just now being verified ten days later. Still no answer. Horrible service! I have no idea whether to cancel and send another gift to recipient or wait. Just Sad!

The website will tell you that they do same day deliveries (in certain areas) or ship out in 1-2 days. It is a lie. They use an independent set of beverage suppliers to fulfill their orders and ReserveBar has NO idea when anything you order will be delivered

I paid over $500 on two engraved bottles of Johnnie blue and there was clearly no quality control. Looks pretty bad and gold paint splattered outside the letter engravings. Would not recommend and will not be using this site again. Only good part was it shipped quickly, maybe if they took an extra day it wouldn't look like garbage.

If you are the "Nikki B." who ordered an engraved bottle of Don Julio 1942, our records show that your order confirmation was sent immediately (it is automated in our system) when you placed your order on Dec. 3rd. Our typical window for delivery is 3-5 business days, and we note on the site that engraved orders can take an additional week. Yet your order was processed IMMEDIATELY AND the ENGRAVING was done that very same day. It was picked up FedEx the next day, which triggered an email to you with tracking information. And as you know, it is set to arrive to you on Monday, which is more than a week EARLY! Quite frankly, I am very confused and disappointed that you decided to make a "complaint" on a review site on the very day you placed your order. Respectfully, in retrospect, I think you would agree that is not fair to us, especially given as noted above, you will receive your order one week early. I am always willing to take responsibility for mistakes that we make, but your order seems to fit squarely within the category of the tens of thousands of orders that are fulfilled without issue. I would be glad to discuss this matter further to see if I can personally assist with anything else with your order. Feel free to send me a private message.

I am writing a couple of days after the response that I wrote before. I see that your order was delivered without any problem whatsoever on December 8th. I am perplexed why we haven't heard back to thank us for delivering your order EARLIER than even what we promise on our website. Given your comments, which were proven to be not only premature but also inappropriate, I would have hoped you would have reached out to acknowledge your mistake and rescind your irresponsible negative review.

Thought this was a convenient way to send a corporate gift... But the delay is embarrassingly late in thanking another office. Placed order 10 days ago and just received shipping notification today. Website did not indicate B/O. Still no delivery date on the tracking website! Would have been faster to drive over to BevMo and pack it myself.

I am currently stationed overseas and ordered six bottles to be sent as Christmas gifts back in the states on Dec 3. Made several inquiries as to the status of my order. No replies. Finally on December 24 I received a generic email saying that my order had been cancelled. No apology or explanation. Thanks for the great gift! I can't say customer service is horrible because there is none. Not a way to compete in this day and age. After this experience and reading other similar reviews will never order from again.
