I am currently stationed overseas and ordered six bottles to be sent as Christmas gifts back in the states on Dec 3. Made several inquiries as to the status of my order. No replies. Finally on December 24 I received a generic email saying that my order had been cancelled. No apology or explanation. Thanks for the great gift! I can't say customer service is horrible because there is none. Not a way to compete in this day and age. After this experience and reading other similar reviews will never order from again.
I was ordering King Louis. Put simply you cannot hope or pray that the order is correct and a product such as this makes it in one piece -- it's expected. From the initial order to follow up after delivery, they ensured this special gift was matched by their service. When you absolutely must order the best, trust no one but ReserveBar.
I ordered a gift for Christmas delivery... after returning from Holiday a few weeks later, I noticed the order didn't ship. If the company is anything like their customer service response, I found the problem... they could care less! He was happy to cancel my order and hung up on me.
No order confirmation received, after 6 phone conversations and several emails and 3 weeks later I tried to cancel my order. This was a nightmare! A month later and many request for a refund I'm still waiting on one or the other. Something is really sketchy about this poorly run business. Don't buy from them.
I placed an order on July 11. Per the tracking number, on July 15, the shipping facility received a damaged package, discarded it, and contacted the original shipper. There were no updates after that. I contacted the ReserveBar customer service to ask about the status of my package, and multiple times the response was, "It's been shipped, look at your tracking number". Finally someone in the chat support on the website said they would have to reorder it manually. This entire process has been fraught with lack of communication and it's extremely frustrating.
This was my first order from ReserveBar. Customer Service was great (got a response back very quickly) and product delivered as expected. I would use them again- great way to send a gift for a "thank you" or "celebration" of any kind!
Ordered a Russell's Reserve 13, order shipped when they said it would. I also needed to change my shipping address, sent an email and heard back within 24 hrs. Bottle was shipped to and received at the correct address. Highly recommend ReserveBar!
When I received my purchase the quality was less than satisfactory, however after my inquiry with reserve bar I was completely in understanding of what happened and just blown away with the customer service. Mitch went into great detail with what had happened and gave me great options to help without me having to ask. Great Customer service is hard to come by these days so I am very impressed with this company in that respect. I do hope that they can get the problems with their manufacturer fixed as soon as possible, it was a big let down that my bottle came opened twice. :/ ... in any case big thank you to the customer service team for their prompt and efficient solutions, it really made all the difference to myself personally.
This people will take your money and play all kind of third world country games.
I ordered a 21 year scotch and they delivered a 12 Year old one. It is over a week and not replacement yet. They sent me a tracking information last Thursday and still is not showing any activity.
So I won't complain about the fact that I order a gift entitled NYE pack that arrived a week after new years but the issue is that it arrived with an entire bottle of liquor missing, zero explanation and it's been impossible to get ahold of anyone from their customer service. I've tried emailing and calling after I had to hunt down a phone number and still no response. So it seems they take your money and send you whatever they want. Needless to say, regardless if I ever get the rest of my order or a refund, I'll never order from them again.
After placing my order for 2 items for a gift on 4/21 I get an e-mail on 5/1 saying sorry we don't have one of them and we'll refund that item and tax. That's all well and good but the shipping and service fee are almost as much as what I have left on the order. E-mailed I would like those refunded I doubt I hear from them. I will not be using this service in the future. Poor way of handling their short stock. Now I have to scramble for some sort of replacement. Poor way to do business totally hands off.
I ordered a bottle from reserve bar for my husband, and long story short, it did not work out at first - the shipping company dropped the bottle off at the wrong address and was never recovered. Through Xmas, I was having difficulty getting a hold of someone who could help. I ended up in contact with Lindsay and Stacy, who once informed, looked into it that day, and arranged for staff to send out another bottle, which was received without a problem. So - it started off not great, but they went above and beyond to rectify the issue - so for that, I am very thankful!
I was VERY leary of ordering alcohol on-line but this item could only be obtained through Reserve Bar so I gave it a try.
They were very prompt in confirming my order, establishing a tracking number and giving me a delivery estimate.
I ordered mid day on a Thursday and had my item delivered (Fed Ex) in Fla. By Saturday afternoon! (Fed Ex communication is a differrent mater).
Packing was well padded and secure.
All my fears were for naught.
Based on my experience, I would do business with Reserve Bar again.
I waited to place my order that was a gift for friends in another state based on the shipping information it stated on the website. It said 1-2 days. The order did not ship until 5 days later. I tried to contact customer service, there is no phone number. It took them over 24 hours to respond. We ended up having to have the delivery sent to their local UPS pick up location and they had to pay a fee. I will not use this service again in the future.
Its 5/2, ordered 4/7, received shipping notice 4/9. Shipping label voided with UPS 4/29.
No communication, inquiries to customer support result in "canned" responses. They refuse to issue a refund, I have had to resort to disputing the charge with my credit card company.
I have ordered from Reserve Bar a few times and will continue. For one of my orders there was an issue, however customer service reached out each business day as it was getting resolved to give an update or let me know they were still working on it, which was unexpected but very appreciated. I order online for pretty much everything and have never had customer service as good as this. They even offered an apology and a discount. Thumbs up Reserve Bar.
I ordered a $260 bottle of whiskey from their site, only to get no update on my order for almost a month. It took a voicemail, four calls, two tickets, two message requests, four emails, and two chats (one the person immediately disconnected) in order to be told that they were sold out WHEN I BOUGHT IT and just didn't bother to update their site.
They did refund me... Then gave me a $75 gift card for their untrustworthy services. What a joke. If you want your whiskey in your lifetime, just go to a local store. At least there you'll actually get a product and a person to talk to. $#*!ing ridiculous. I'd give zero stars if I could.
It has been more than two weeks since I placed my original order and I have not received any updates or details on the shipping status. The customer service calls just reach a voice message and to their credit they returned one of my calls and left me a voice message stating this was being escalated and that I should get an update. Haven't received any updates yet. This was supposed to be a Gift for someone and if I cannot get a product within 3 weeks after ordering and paying, there is something wrong. I have tried reaching the contact center and after a wait time it goes to a voice message box. My emails to the address have not been responded to as well. Not sure if I would shop again or recommend reservebar.
I ordered our corporate gifts through Reserve Bar for the past two years. Last year I tried to change the gift message on one of the orders and it took over 7 days for someone to get back to me via text message. This service is an absolute joke.
I will never use them again.
Their website kicked back my order 4 times despite the Credit Company telling me they had approved on all 4 attempts. I called and placed the order manually (which was antiquated and took forever) and then after being told I would receive a shipping #, that never took place until I called back a week later to be told my order was shipped 7 days after I had ordered it. I never received any notification, the only communication is during or after me calling them. I'd recommend using a more reputable service - their free shipping isn't exactly honest either. They call it a service fee.
