We were driving from Moab, Utah to our home in Washington State. Called a number that claimed to be the Super 8 in Baker City, Utah. A recorded voice said, "Press '2' for new reservations."
A man came on. Took a long time to check. Said there were only two rooms left at the Super 8 in Baker City, and each was over $140. When we balked at this ridiculous price, he claimed that they, the Super 8, had a 'special deal' with the Knights Inn in Baker City, where there were also "only two rooms left", and we could get a room for 'only $107.31.' Stupidly, and tiredly, we took it.
Found out later we hadn't been talking to Wyndham or Super 8. We'd been scammed by Reservation Desk, who never identified themselves as such. Somehow the phone number that was supposed to go to the Super 8 went to them, and we paid $35 more than we should have.
The motel clerk told us word for word what the agent had said on the phone. The clerk said, "It happens all the time. You guys got ripped off, and we at the motel can't do anything about it."
Be warned. Make sure of who you're talking to...

Thus property had everything needed on site to accommodate me without ever having to leave the hotel! Friendly helpful staff clean and relaxing. Free breakfast was amazing! On site restaurant food and staff was on point

We discovered that the kitchen (Wild Goose Tavern) was closed due to renovations. The breakfast as a stated amenity was poor. No imagination or creativity to provide one or two warm dish(es).
As it is winter with snow on grounds, an extra night would have been appropriate. We may not return again.

While I was making my reservation I found no options regarding safety or accessibility concerns. I do not need a fully accessible, handicap rated room, but because I walk with a cane on good days, two canes on bad ones, a first floor room with safety bars in the shower, or even a walk in shower are highly desirable. After my reservation was made I had to call the hotel and make those needs known to the front desk. Fortunately they were very helpful and I should be accommodated. Please note that other agencies have always provided me that service when making reservations.

Answer: It's a complete scam. What booking company takes your payment in full for the room months in advance and then you cancel months in advance and then they not refund your money! TOTAL SCAM! 110% scam!
Answer: You are really not talking to a supervisor when you ask to speak with a supervisor. They have terrible customer service and hung up on me when I insisted on talking to someone above the person who would not help me. Seriously! Read some script and then hung up on me. I cannot get a refund. Do NOT use this service. They scam you into believing that you are talking to a representative of the hotel. When I called them to get my money back, the so called, "Supervisor," hung up on me and would not let me speak to her supervisor. Very unprofessional conduct. I would never hang up on a customer. She read some script over the phone to me and then hung up on me. DO NOT USE this scamming outfit. You have been warned!
