I didn't realized I was booking thru a 3rd party. The following didn't work: TV, ice machine in 3rd floor, the tea water was cold. The fire alarm when off during our stay. I asked for a receipt and I was told no cause I booked thru 3rd party. I was charged $10. Extra for a parking fee and a $15 for process fee. They couldn't help me because I booked thru a 3rd party!

I thought I was on the hotel website to book directly. I did not know about Reservation Counter. I did not realize I would be charged $15.99 for not taking the survey at the beginning of the booking for Reservation Counter.

The cancellation of the San Jose Sharks Foundation event was, in my opinion, not clear enough.
I was still able to pay for tickets for this event, at the last minute.
While my friends and are were not inconvenienced too much (we still went out to dinner at a local Morgan Hill place), the tickets we received for the future date, did not say the event was cancelled.

Answer: Trying to cancel a reservation, the rote voice said it did not recognize the phone number, even though it was the same phone I used to make the reservation. Then asked if the reservation confirmation number started with an R. I said No. It asked me several more times. I kept answering No. Then it told me to call the hotel for help and hung up. Called the hotel. They said they could not cancel since the reservation was made through a third-party company. That I would have to cancel through ReservationCounter. (Oh, by the way, I had tried to use the online Cancellation page - it doesn't work.) It was very difficult to get through to anybody and there were very long waits in between. I will never use this company again.
