They told me $7 for recycle $14 for trash. They sent me bills every month one after another prorated for 3 months with environmental fees and fuel fees totaling over $30 none of this information was disclosed during signing up they promised me the world and failed I understand it cost money to run a business but you can't lie to your customers and rip them off now I have to pay $64 to have them come pick up their cans that I was renting every month unbelievable I will spread the word to every person I know and every company that uses the service to cancel the service I will make it my personal point to put this out there you need to stop ripping people off.
Please ask about Delivery fee" they just let you know about the quarter fee but never mention a "Delivery Fee", I spoke to a rude as representative Tammy and she only said that she apologized about the information, I didn't even used the container I called a day after the delivery to cancel the service, a week later I received a bill for the delivery charge.
I told this representative a apology it's that going to fix the misinformation given, because they do not provide with the acquire information. If I was inform before to order I would never order it!
Do not ever use Republicservices for anything. I ordered a 30 yard dumpster to clean my house out that was to be delivered last Thursday. I called Friday to see why it wasn't here and they were closed. Called today and somehow my order was cancelled yet they still took my money! I have realtors coming out to look and my house and this company dropped the ball big time. They can't even tell me a resolution for FOUR HOURS. Said they needed to look into it further. Horrible service! Horrible wait time. Horrible process for getting an answer. Republic refuses to refund people what they owe after cancelling services, then states they don't owe what they force you to pay 3 months in advance saying they are additional admin fees and can pick up. You can not charge admin fees for services not rendered, they refuse to break down the billing once you cancel and just say you have to pay it without refunding what you paid ahead. Well they need to pay what is owed to the customer! Corrupt theives base rate of $67.80 quarterly but invoice shows over $94 they refuse your refund saying admin fees for NO SERVICES RENDERED!
I live at the bottom of the cult-a-sac and they have missed picking up every other week when I call for a reschedule it never happens when you call the customer service girls are the only one who act like they care if you want a supervisor plan on a two hour or longer wait when one finally gets on he acts like he doesn't have time to deal with you and still got no results got feed up and tried to cancel two weeks later trash still here $#*! COMPANY

Not only is this company based on lies, it steals from the middle class and keep the rich RICH. Your bill constantly is raised without notice and many times it happens in areas where folk go from pay check to pay check or is on one monthly income. The folk driving golf carts pay 50 dollars quartly while othets pay as high as 300. Working here was hell. If you dont mind the lies you tell and the karma behind it work for Republic Services. Oh yeah they change names too so beware of the wolves amongst use. My choice to leave was the best decision I ever made. Dont work for them or get any services. I would burn trash or illegally dump before they get my money.
Republic Services continues to increase their bill, continues to simply add different charges to my bill and expects us to continue to pay them. We have called 5 times, being put on hold for 20+ minutes each time to hear they claim we are under a contract. We have ask for a copy of the signed contract and nothing happens. Today they came out to dump the can, I called again today, was 21 minutes on hold and told them if they do not come get the can today I am taking one of my forklifts and moving the can off my property out by the road. This is a horrible company to do business with. I strongly advise anyong to call another company because this comnpany.
This company notified me of a changed pickup date. I put my trash outside for this new date. They never showed up. I called and customer service argued with me that they didn't change my date, despite the fact I got the postcard. They 'escalated' my call and told me management would call me back. No call back. Put out the trash on the normal day - no pickup. Called again. They escalated - no call back. Told me they couldn't call dispatch, couldn't track the truck, couldn't call corporate. I've wasted hours of my time just trying to get them to do their job. I shouldn't have to chase after my garbage collector to get them to pick up my trash. I will make it my personal mission to let everyone know about the poor service until someone from corporate reaches out to me and FIXES the problem.
They charge up front 200.00 to drop the dumpster off and another 200.00 to pick it up plus your monthly fees, along with a long list of being nickled and dimed to death.
And the best is you give them a date when you want it picked up and they push it off for another month and charge you for the month
I scheduled a pickup of extra garbage in conjunction with a move. Pickup was scheduled for Friday, June 9 & I was charged $115 for this service. At 4pm on pickup day I made a call to customer servuce checking on status of my pickup & was assured they would be there by 6pm. I asked the rep how long she would be there if I had any other questions & was told 6pm. When they had they had not arrived by 5:45 I called and the office was closed until Monday. I called Minday morning & was told it had been rescheduled for today, June 12. They had no explanation for the change in schedule or why I was not notified and they would not consider lowering the charge for such poor service.
Absolutely the worst refuse service I switched to DumpBox about a year ago, 1/2 the cost. Republic wanted to charge me more than their web site cited to pick up their bins. I returned both to the Bettendorf location. Several months later I received a bill for 1 of the 2 cans. I called some main location and was told to pay it. I told them hell would freeze over before I paid them for a trash bin I had returned. I am now getting threatening letters and phone calls from Coast to Coast services, they are threatening to report it to the credit agency. All this for a 70.00 trash bin I returned. Tomorrow I will file a claim with the BBB as well file a small claims (will cost 90.00 to file) But as I am one pissed off ex customer I will spend the money and my time to harass these lousy refuse service company. DO NOT USE REPUBLIC for your garbage service use Dump Box and save money
I have been with Republic Servive for trash pick up for 5 years, I am behind 1 month, they suspended my service effective tomorrow11/16/21 I tried to call to make a payment promise and they they don't work with customers. I spoke to Amber and her supervisor Dandy today, they could not help me!

I live in a condo and we pay via our HOA fees and this company just this year alone has missed pick up dates 10times this year and 2times this year they didn't show up for a whole week. One week it was during July and the HOTTEST most HUMID week ever needless to say we were told to bring our trash back into our homes yet with maggots in the trash - please tell me what sense that made. Last week they didn't come again and are expected to come tomorrow. I won't hold my breathe. This company is NOT a reputable company, they made a contract and reneged on their contract. Beware of this company. I only gave them a 1 star because NO Stars was not an option. Tamara B.
We had a storm the prior day. Was a nice day the following garbage day and these idiots with a robotic truck dont show up? So everone has garbage cans down I call and get there message. We are behind one day will be out the following day. Not the next trash day, the FOLLOWING DAY They still dont show up and all the cans are still down two days later They are the only act in town. They will tell customers anything to get people off the phone, promise anything and never deliver. The local Hernando Country Florida commissioners will not address it either. So I took my full garbage can placed it in my pickup and dumped it in the woods. Now FU commissioners and Republuc let the inmates clean it up.

As the title says, there have been multiple events where they overcharged. Buyer beware. Record every conversation, write down every name, take video evidence.
My trash has been sitting the curb for 2 days now. No billing issues. I called three times and they assured me they where running late. Not sure what is going on.
Bad service. My trash was not pick up. I call to consequently two scheduled a pickup and no driver show up. The trash has been on the drive way for 6days. One star is even over rating
Sooooo, after mailing a written notice the middle of March, to Republic Services to cancel my account at the end of March, I received a new bill for the new billing cycle. (Notably, for $30 more than the last cycle which was up then as well) When I called them, they told me that they only accept phone call cancellations and would cancel it for the end of April along with a $54 charge to pick up their bin. I informed them that under no circumstances would I be paying this bill and that I was never informed of a "Pick-up" charge and that I would not be paying that bill as well. (Side note: This account was originally Randy's Disposal)
Their response was that this phone call was legal notice for them that I would be responsible for the 1 month charge and the pick up charge and that they would turn it over to collections. WTH!
