If you get the part you are looking for, you are lucky. If not, don't expect any returns from them as they always make an excuse. Two people I know tried returning the items, and they didn't even acknowledge that the parts were returned safely to them.
Before ordering a part itll say delievry in 2-3 days. You order and then it tells you its not expected for 4 months. Then I have to waste my time calling customer service on hold. They dont make it obvious its on back order at all.
Their customer support/service is difficult to get in contact with. As stated in their unreasonable policy, if you install an part (without use) they will not allow you to return/refund the part. As a repairman how else are you supposed to trouble-shoot any issues without actually installing that part!?! It will end up costing you more money in the long run since you have to pay for a part that does not resolve your issue, pay for the shipping to receive the part, and pay for the shipping to send it back.
I will never use RepairClinic again and advise anyone other person not to as well.
I ordered a part(water inlet valve) for my refrigerator from Repair Clinic.com. The part I ordered was not needed so I returned the part. I explained to customer service I checked the new part for continuity with a tester making sure new part was actually new. Customer service said terminals on new water inlet part showed wear and I would not receive a refund and unless I sent them a $13.00 FED Ex label in 10 days I would not get the part back. The part cost $130.00, had to spend $13.00 sending part back and they want another $13.00 for S&H to get the part back to me. This is not how to keep customers, This is a site for DIY trying to save money. I guess you better know 1000% before ordering. I will not use Repair Clinic again and I recommend Parts Direct.com instead.
I ordered and oven igniter for a friend and that wasn't what was need to be replaced, so mailed back to them in Original package and followed all directions for return, I never heard back from them so messaged them and they said I scuffed it up as if I mounted it and I never did. So now I'm out $75. I'll find a local place for parts, very disappointed. Customer service comes first. So now they have my part to resell
This company is the worst company with poor customer service. I spent a number of hours and phones calls prior to purchasing the products I was told are in this exisiting stove. I asked several times in several different phone calls about the return policy. I was told that I have 365 days to return the items. At no time did they say anything about not being able to open the package. The absurdity of this company and return policy is clearing going to cause them to lose customers. Come to find out these parts did not work and ultimately I returned the items only to find out they will not return items that are opened or installed. This was news to me after I just paid $30 to ship the items back. I am requesting a refund and they are refusing. $300 later I have no resolution for this product. I also want other people to know that the return policy is unheard of in this day and age. WAKE UP REPAIR CLINIC!
If I could less than 1 star I would! Horrible experience, long time customer but no more. They are more interested in your money than customer service or fulfillment of your order, avoid this company at all cost! I Ordered a part and paid for the expedited shipping, expecting 3 days MAX, shows up 4 weeks later, after I don't need it anymore. I contacted the company to get an update after 4 days, no response, contacted again after 2 weeks, no response, contacted a 3rd time to cancel my order and then it shows up, after I canceled it. But don't worry they still charged me, and also still charged for the the 2 day shipping! They are thieves in my opinion, if you purchase from them, know that you have been warned!
I ordered parts for my lawn tractor and received all the right ones except for the rim which was the wrong size. When I found a complain. I was told they had ordered the wrong part. I was then told to call the customer service number when I phoned and asked for the manager there was no manager in that day. I finally got a hold of the manager and he had the audacity To tell me that I had ordered the wrong part. The funny thing is all the other parts worked it was just the rim that was the wrong size. So if you want to big headache order from this business I'd like to give them no stars.
They have all the parts I needed to fix my appliances. I also found their help section and manuals to be very useful and interesting. Their price match guarantee also makes sure that I get the cheapest price for my purchases.
There should be an option to choose 0 stars because this is what RepairClinic should receive.
I purchased a control board for my furnace with the hope that it would resolve my issue. Unfortunately it did not so I contacted RepairClinic to request a return. I was forwarded a return packing slip and label. I just received a notice from RepairClinic that I will not receive a refund because I installed the board to see if it would fix the problem. How is it possible to know if the board would fix the furnace if I can't try it out to see if it works? This is a very poor policy and I will not recommend RepairClinic to anyone looking for repair parts.
I don't recommend them at all because of their terrible customer service. They got the most unresponsive and the worst customer service there is! I got damaged items but they made it hard for me to return those items and get refunded. They made the process too difficult so that I'd just give up and let them win but too bad, I got too much time on my hands so I followed up with them day after day until I got my refund. I didn't let them get away with it.
Received the part I ordered, put a bolt through the support to see if it fit, and it didn't. Put it back in the box and returned. I had to pay shipping. They refused a refund saying it had been "installed". $160 down the drain. NEVER AGAIN!
Don't waste your time with this company! Placed an order and and the second you submit your order, the part is on back order. I have been waiting 3 months for a gasket. I wish I had read reviews before I placed the order.
RepairClinic.com used to be a good site to go to and I used them for over 15 years as they had competitive prices However, they have priced themselves out of the market as their prices are the highest out there. They team up with the OEM's to take over their service parts and I feel they tried to corner the market, but their prices are very uncompetitive for a internet site. They have decent customer service, but can have long wait items. Lastly, they have a "so called" Price Match policy. But I there is NOT ONE site that meets their criteria that would require them to match any price. If anyone finds a site that meets the criteria, please let me know. Unfortunately, I cannot justify paying 2x the price just so I have the luxury to return a part in 12 months.
I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Paid for overnight shipping on two orders placed on the same day - neither arrived for 4 days. Called repeatedly and they promised to refund the shipping fees. That never happened. They promised to call back to confirm refund. That never happened.
They say that FedEx declared the delay an act of God, but that is not true. Both orders were placed on the same day and received at FedEx on the same pickup. The FedEx tracking history shows that one of the two sat in their facility for an extra 36 hours longer than the other. That is not an act of God.
Will never use them again.
I ordered a dryer blower fan for a Kenmore Dryer. Paid to have it shipped to me by September 6-7,2016. Part was not on time and when I called them to find out what was going on they hung up on me 3 times. They were rude and their customer service stunk. I told them I wanted my shipping and handling fees refunded and they hung up on me the first time, left me on hold for more than 30 minutes the second time (then hung up on me), and finally the guy I actually got a little help from told me the Manager refused to refund my fees (even though they promise to refund without question if their is a shipping issue). The third guy hung up on me when I asked to speak with a Manager higher than his direct Supervisor. I called back yet again and was finally given the Supervisors Managers name and contact information. I will call Monday to see what she may, or methinks may not do.
I ordered 2 shelves for my whirlpool refrigerator/freezer. The first shelf arrived and it was not a freezer shelf but a fridge shelf, when I ordered I took measurements of the shelf and those measurements are shown on their website for this part number, however when the part arrives, it is completely wrong. They first said they would refund the return shipping and now they will not. I have shown indisputable proof that they sent the wrong part and now won't refund my shipping. This business is a SCAM
I ordered a few replacement parts for my washing machine and they had everything in stock. I received the parts as scheduled and I was able to fix my washing machine in no time. It was a very convenient experience for me.
They sent the wrong part. The sticker on the bag is for the correct part, but the part inside is not even close. When we called for a replacement part, they promised to expedite the shipping so we could receive it within four days. Instead, it is expected to arrive a week later. When we called to talk to them, the troll that answered the call was rude and angry. Would advise to find your part somewhere-ANYwhere-else.
Ordered a valve for my kitchen aid range. The only valve they listed was not the correct valve even though model number listed was correct. Was not successful in canceling then was hassled on the return of item. Do not do business with this company.
