I love Ebates. I do a ton of online shopping and it's nice to get rewarded for doing things I would have anyway. They also have excellent customer service. For example, if for some reason you aren't credited for a qualifying purchase, they have an easy-to-use support system that will help make sure you get what you earned. Definitely recommend!
Ebates will not pay on large purchases and will give you the runaround. I have now made 3 purchases in which I was supposed to get a significant amount on cash back and was never credited the amount, even after emailing repeatedly regarding these purchases. The last large purchase was on black friday for a TV and computer purchased through Dell Consumer at 12% cash back. That would make the cash back around $80. However, I keep getting different answers when I email regarding this purchase. This coincides with how they dealt with a hotel reservation last year in which I supposed to receive about $14 cash back and then my very last purchase on Amazon which touted 5.5% cash back on a Kindle Fire tablet purchase. Now ebates lists that purchase as ineligible for cash back. So apparently if I use it to get about 80 cents in cash back, I'm fine, but anything over $10, and they must have a process in place to make it almost impossible for the consumer to actually get that amount. So I definitely see Ebates as a scam now. Enjoy stealing my cash back from Dell - I will no longer be using Ebates and I'm going to make sure everyone I've referred knows not to use ebates anymore. Which won't be hard given how many people that I did refer that complained to me about the same issues.
Bought refrigerator filters. Arrived quickly and in exact detail as website listed. I would buy from again.

Ebates deleted my facebook comments and choose not to response. It give me the chance of finally realize what kind of business they are. Below was the review I posted on 12/17/16.
Ebates closed my account without any notice. After many emails back and forth, I finally were able to talk to Caleb, Member Operations Supervisor. According to Caleb, he believe that I am not having any trips in December but booked hotels on booking.com and cancelled them just trying to get Ebates cashback. I cancelled reservations of hotels according to booking.com policy, it has nothing to do with ebates since ebates only got paid from booking.com after I stayed and paid. Caleb confirmed ebates did not get paid from booking.com for my cancelled reservations! I was on the verge of tears when he kept saying that he believe I have no trips planned but just trying to get ebates cash back. I am willing to show ebates flight confirmation, hotel reservations to prove ebates that we have the trip. I am demanding Caleb's apologies. His allegations and humiliations are based on no reason. If I am the "criminals" like Caleb believed in, I want to ask Ebates, how many years I have been ebates member and how much is my life payment you sent to me? I think I have been ebates member for at least 10 years, and my life time cash back is less than $80! What kind of "criminals" I am!
Ebates has the best customer service ever! They are SO quick to reply and answer your questions. Very helpful and friendly every time! I wish every company had customer service like Ebates!

Whenever I have a question or if a credit doesn't come through for some reason, customer service responds and resolves very promptly. Recently Gayle came to my rescue and was very courteous and professional. Ebates is a great way to do some Christmas shopping and receive cash back!
I signed up because a family member told me about it. We've made 3 purchases (2 on amazon and 1 on best buy) but nothing we bought seems to qualify. Why make the extra clicks to go through this if you are still at 0. I'm sure there is a benefit to them to track stuff but there doesn't seem to be any benefit to me.

WOW, where to begin! Ordered Samsung 500g EVO SSD. The marketplace seller was DELL. They never shipped it! I opened a ticket and it went unanswered! I opened ticket with google and 5 days later Rakuten cancelled my order and Google told me the dont support closed orders right after. But Google said good news! You were refunded your money! Oh yea? Thats the good news? How about the SSD is now $70 more everywhere and I needed it yesterday!? DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE! NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE DEAL IS!
I referred 3 friends last week and all have made qualifying purchases. Yesterday my account balance was 79.85( 75 for 3 friends and my cashback) and today I can see bonus is reduced to 29.85. When I see my referral status, 2 friends are moved back to signed state from qualified state. When I checked with my friends, even their joining bonus of $10 got removed suddenly. Since January 1,2016 I have used ebates to book all of my hotel stays, eBay purchases, enterprise rental car reservations, some airfare, and also some retail purchases. Out of my 184 nights I have spent in Hilton properties, I have received rebates on about 10% of them. They asked me to resend my confirmation, date of stay, order number, and receipt for them to track my purchase. Not to mention, they also say that it could take up to 60 days past your reservation date before you see this rebate. I travel for a living and there is no way I can keep all of this documentation for at least two months in order to straighten out ebates lacking business process! I forward them over my receipt of stay, my hotel confirmation when I receive the emails.
For the average consumer that will only buy a few dozen things online over a years time, you could babysit this website to get your rebate. I have had hundreds of purchases this year and have seen a fraction have them come back with a rebate awarded.
In closing, just because you purchased through the ebates website, don't assume that the rebate will automatically be applied to your account, you will have to track it down.

I had a purchase that did not register automatically, i reached out to customer service provided order confirmation and everything was taken care of the same day! Great job.
Ebates is amazing for your wallet! You use all the same rewards, coupons, etc that you would normally use in store or online. Shop all your faves, but do it with Ebates! I have gotten close to $400 BACK in my big, fat check (you get an actual check mailed every few months) You are just plain silly if you don't join Ebates! Check it out!
I'm technically challenged and messed up the process a couple times. Ebates as always been patient and friendly and made it right by me.
