Perhaps this is someone else's purchase???
However, all above aside, I have had no problems shopping through Rakuten and enjoy receiving the ebates from them through the purchases I make.
I recently had to change my email address with Ebates, I really like Ebates for the discounts but I've never had to use customer service before. They certainly reflect the quality of the company a smooth and easy transition.
I made a purchase through rakuten and I didn't get my cash back. It's so annoying to jump through hoops by using this crummy, unintuitive platform only to never receive my cash back. We can't combine rakuten with other promos--why bother using this service for saving money if it won't guarantee the best price?
I had an issue ( first time ever) with a purchase not showing up so I had not received my cash back yet. I emailed them about the issue and literally within a minute my cash back was posted to my account. That qualifies as super sonic speed to me! I have been with Ebates for many years now and I love it so much. This was my very first issue too.
And the customer service for Ebates is extremely helpful, quick, and one of the best I've EVER seen with online customer service! I will be returning again and again because I have been so pleased, and shocked by how great the customer response and help was! It was within minutes they helped me! Happy holidays!

The customer service is outstanding. I forgot to use ebates this past weekend and emailed them. They accepted the receipt and gave me the "rebate" or "cash back" on the purchase I made. I have never been let down by their customer service team or the website. Comes in handy around the holidays! LOVE them
I remember getting started with ebates years ago, but for some reason forgot about it until just recently when I discovered it as a Chrome plug-in. I do most of my shopping online, so I probably could have gotten back a nice sum over all this time. I guess better late than never though. Since joining up right after the holidays, I have gotten almost $30. The only issue I have is the fact that if I click to activate ebates on a site, it redirects me to the home page. Then I have to search for the item page I was on again.
Ebates provides excellent customer service and fulfill their promise of cash back on a ton of online stores. Also, their double cash back deals are great and you will be able to know very quickly the amount of cash back on your account. I definitely recommend Ebates after more than one year using the service.

This is a reputable business with very helpful staff I would recommend E Bates to everyone. Cash back is generous and run qualified the cash goes into your account immediately it is a pleasure to go shopping when you get cash back.

As others have said, PriceMinister.com is a con. I ordered a book, they debited my card and then said they couldn't deliver. They then told me they had credited my "e-wallet". My bill was 7.50 but you need to have at minimum of 10.00 in your e-wallet to be able to remove funds, and even then they want your bank details, they cannot credit the card you bought from. I'm not giving my bank details to these dishonest scumbags, so basically it is money lost. Don't waste your money on this site, you might as well flush it down the toilet.
Ebates delivers! It is easy to use and it gives you money for shopping electronically. Ebates also has extra cash back frequently. I have been a member less than a year but have received about $80 from different purchases. The last one I received $40 back when I bought shades through JCPenneys. Love Ebates! And they just put the money in your PayPal account. Nice and Easy
I was missing a purchase on my account and asked them to look into it, Within 24 hrs the customer service had it corrected and were in constant communication with me. I couldn't be happier. Always a pleasure with Ebates!

Barney's New York cancelled my order during Ebate's 15% off promo. They cancelled it for no reason and this caused my Ebate to cancel as well... and I lost out on a sizable chunk for my rebate. I contacted Ebates regarding this matter and gave them all of the supporting documentation that they asked. They were able to verify my purchase and funded the money back on my account fast. They were so nice and understanding. World Class service I tell ya!
I started using Ebates in 2011 and messed up my account using different emails and ending up with multiple accounts. When I asked for them all to be consolidated my cash back disappeared. Molly in customer service went out of her way to find out where my cash back had gone and return it to me. I actually had a typo in one of my emails when I signed up. All fixed now (and I'll write it down).

Answer: I can't answer about the owner ripping people off. All I know is I have ordered from Rakuten numerous times and have nothing but praise for them. I haven't read the bad reviews but I've gotten nothing but good products.

Answer: If it for some reason doesn't show like it should, I contact ebates. I include a copy of the email with the information from the order placed. Normally I wait until the purchase has arrived. This gives ebates and the store to put the transaction in your account.
