The Rakuten team is beyond amazing! I had a 10% cash back from hotels.com from a limited offer but ended up only getting 2%. After I reaching out to Rakuten, the team help me to reach out to hotels.com for verification and they even went above and beyond, sent me several updates though out 4 months. Hotels.com was not responsive and honestly, I didn't really expect to get the cash back but I indeed received it after several months. I was truly amazed by the customer service at Rakuten as they really go above and beyond to help me. Thank you!
I shop on online often and am grateful that a good friend of mine told me about Ebates, the service is awesome and getting money back for your purchase is amazing. Excellent service. Basically free money. Their app and browser add-ons are great -- tells you when you are eligible for cash back with a purchase. The customer service is excellent too. Would totally recommend.
I can not believe how good the service is with ebates. I signed up as a free member and they treated me like i paid for a thousand dollar membership. The people over at Dubli better watch out because Ebates is going to put them out of business fast.

I don't do much spending, but for what I have done, Ebates is there. When my check was lost in the mail, they were on time and on target with sending my funds via my paypal account. Tonya walked me through the entire process. It is awesome!
I had bought a product through Ebates and had some issues with the refund process. It was actually my fault because I hadn't read the fine print, but there were some problems with the way it was advertised on the site. However, as soon as I brought this to Ebates attention, they made it right. They were able to give me the correct information for next time, but also gave my the refund even if they didn't have to. I will definitely be working with Ebates again-they have made my shopping so much easier and their customer service is exemplary. Every other company should be taking note of this! Would recommend to all shoppers!
I Love Ebates.com! It is a great way to make extra money on something you were going to buy already. Their customer service is excellent and very quick with their response back to you if you should need one! I have used Ebates.com for many years and highly recommend them to everyone!
I've been using ebates for about 6 years. I've gotten cash back checks every time they send then. BUT I have literally dozens of shopping trips made via ebates where I purchased stuff but never got cash back. I used to contact them and full out the inquiriy form asking why and I would end up getting the money i was due. But who has the time to keep doing that when you shop online regularly? So now I just take the cash they give me and let the ones they don't go. They need to fix something- that's for sure. I will still use them and be grateful when I actually get the cash back promised.
I let one of my eBates checks expire. I emailed customer service and had a response within 12 hours. They asked for the check #, name and address. They voided old check, issued a new one and there was no hassle for me! WOW, so impressed with their quick response and resolution.
I had an issue with my account not adding up with my Google Chrome extension. I emailed customer support and they too care of the problem in a few days. Now, everything is up and running as it should be. This is the type of service you should get any and everywhere!
So you do get some % amount back, but often the rebate is for only certain items. Also the ads are misleading, suggesting you can receive hundreds of dollars, when in fact you would have to spend a vast amount to reach that level or buy a large item (assuming that large purchase was eligible). For me it turned out it wasn't worth it.
At least, once a year Rakuten takes it upon itself to monitor our account and cancel its use if they don't understand a charge. This has happened 6 times. There have never been any illegal charges on the card, jus the whim of the monitor. As a result, we have lost sale items because they were sold out before we could reinstate the card. Usually it is for a large purchase item ($2,000. Shed, $1500 matress) which I guess they don't want to pay. We have repeatedly asked that they never cancel our card, we will just pay any charge that is not legit. They always promise they will put it in our file, but it still happened.
I have contacted Ebates 3 times by email since signing up, twice with questions and once with a problem with a link. Each time the response was within minutes. My questions were answered immediately and I was extremely pleased. The problem with the link was resolved in less than 24 hours and I also received follow up emails from the same person who responded to my original message. I am so happy with the cash back program from Ebates, the excellent customer service is icing on the cake!
SCAM ALERT: Ebates will advertise their promotions like crazy. Ebates will only keep up their end of the bargain if the individual spends hours and hours trying to find out why they never got what they should have. Those who never notice or spend the time get nothing. Ebates will only give you what you should get in the first place if you spend time. I encourage others to look up reports about this issue.
Wow, at first I was a skeptic when my mother first told me about earring money back for shopping online, but she showed me her first check and in 3 months of online shopping she earned over $200 dollars! She made me a believer! So what are you waiting for get EBATES and make some money, all you have to do is shop.

A recent "tell a friend" link was accidentally not used. Not only did they respond to my query within 1 business day, the resolution granted my referral bonus. They could have easily said "no" but that's not the ebates way.
I bought a Samsung watch as a gift from Rakuten.com. It was billed as "new" but it had obviously been repackaged and there were spots on the box where tape had been pulled off tearing away the packaging surface. It arrived at the last minute and I didn't have time to return it and get another gift so I gave it anyway. I just hope the recipient didn't notice that it had been repackaged. I was real embarrassed. Isn't there a law that you cannot sell a returned or refurbished item as new?
