My personal experience as a herbivore is that Quora favors carnism, ie. The mentality "I have to kill to survive" and is not a website that allows true discussion and debate. This is based on a potential discussion about whether a person who has been anorexic could eat vegan afterwards. My comment challenging those who said that was "dangerous" was flagged as a violation. Quora is a website for the masses; they will remove your comments if they don't agree with mass opinion. Where is the learning and knowledge in that? Don't waste your time. Don't let them steal your time.
Yes, this is what this site is. Zionist propagandists are are pretty active on this site and why wouldn't they be. If anyone decided to believe just these propagandists, they would form a pretty distorted picture. Secondly, religion bashing on site is common and if someone was to see this site, It would seem more than half of the population is atheist in the world when it is not. Indian users are site are harassing people with all their illiterate mind. Ugly feminazis try to satisfy their ego by posting content which include comment such "I get harassed a lot" from whom I wouldn't take money to harass them. I mean I wouldn't even think so much about harassing them even if they gave me 1000$ dollar. I would even take 10 dollar to look at them for 1 minute.
Quora was spamming my email with unwanted info. There was no way to turn those alerts off from the emails. When I went to the site, a number of weirdly upsetting or gross posts were throughout my feed. The process to turn off the unwanted alerts was full of defects. While on the site, I found an interesting post or two. I was trying to find them a moment later but there was no way to do that. Quora does not make the effort to have a site that runs on a decent level. While there I also could not find a way to make a post in particular sections.
I cant tell the amount of disprect I got when Quroa members would answer questions. Not to mention I had felt that there was bias against me there. I explained that I both have a disability and am poor and people would still be mean
The website is a big scam. It is not at all for knowledge sharing. They create fake popular Quorans by cteating robot accounts just ment to follow and upvote. They sell you a dream of fame. Trolls are actually backed up by moderators to do their unofficial job. The moment you crack and abuse a troll, the mods will through their useless policy at your face and ban you. Its a big scam just to sell ads and earn profits. Please stay away from it at all costs.
Totally i am disappointed by using quora. I have asked some personal question to some people and i also got the answer but whatever question i asked was watched by my friends and they are making fun of me by sharing the screenshot of the questions which i have asked.no privacy for the users. WTF quora team. Dont you take the steps to protect the privacy of the users into your account. F***** you whole team. Really got disappointed. Now i am in jeopardy because of you... you are responsible for this. Your quora app is a bull$#*!.not even equals a penny. Finally i deleted your $#*!ing app account
I was flagged for, "hate speech" on the site, even though the post that I was responding to was a heck of alot more hate speech than my comment was, I tried to appeal the removal of my comment that was deemed "hate speech" but they just notified me that, "we will stand by our decision" lol, this is the new era of Chinese-style censorship, and removal of anything they deem as something they dont approve of.
It is Americans who support Chinese Communist Party (CCP), against God, against Love, against Humanity. I am very surprised when my ideas against the CCP on Quora are flagged as racist and then deleted. I was also blocked from adding more comments on these statuses. It looks and sounds as a communist forum, administered by CCP. I think our American Government should have an eye on it.
I am annoyed with them I was under the impression that if I had an opinion about something and I answered a question that it would be ok to answer questions I had and opinion on I don't believe its far that they take down answers and say they need more info personal experience should be a good enough reason to let an answer stay visible to the asker. They make you feel stupid just for posting a question or an answer if its not a million characters long or has links or photos that's dumb to me.
I had a worst experience with quora
What a pathetic system they had.
No freedom to write. So much restrictions.
They merge your answers as well questions with others answers and questions.
Collapse your questions, if they don't like it.
You get so many random requests to answer some useless questions.
I mean useless that makes no sense.
People are so rude here, like they force you check their answers, upvote them or even follow them.
Actually quora want you to do what ever they want but you can't do what ever you want to do.
Quora is a cage or a prison.
Omg, I wasted so many days here.
Honestly replying to questions asked or requested to me. Until and unless you get stressed out and check notifications, answer requests or your email inbox full of nonscence questions all the time. You had to answer all, if you don't want to they will show their real face.
I hate quora.com
I would rate it a zero if I could. Quora's moderators are an absolute joke. I had no issues for quite a while. Wrote a good few answers and did my best to keep my answers polite, relevant and non-confrontational. One of my answers, probably my most upvoted one, caught the attention of someone who took exception not to the content of the answer but to how I started it. "I'm trans and etc." That fact was not massively important to the answer but it "was" relevant to it. This individual then proceeded to harass me until he eventually got tired of me not reacting to him. He then deleted all his comments and reported my answer which was subsequently deleted by the mods. Appealing the decision was rejected and they refused to tell me why the answer was deleted beyond "it has been found to violate a policy". If you like living in an echo chamber, Quoras the place for you. If you prefer to be "allowed" to think for yourself, stay very well away.
Another one of the many ideas out there which needs critical mass to become successful. I believe this is a better version of yahoo answers. Yahoo answers is for the ignorant masses who will believe that windex will cure a wart. Quora has some pretty good answers and intelligent people and while they do not apparently get much traffic to their site, the quality of the people is higher. Eventually they will monetize the answers that people write and it must be the case that the people who bother with this site get some value in return. It is worth checking out, though I wouldn't use facebook connect as I like to keep my stuff private
The site is unbelievably useless. I am glad I did not purchase from them. Pay walling answers is monetary sensorship. What is worse is that pay walled answers are not their content it is user content that is popular.
The amount of emails you get from this site in one day is outrageous and they deliberately made the unsubscribe feature dubious and difficult with a requirement to visit many unlinked sections to turn off emails.
I would avoid Quora like a disease.
I didn't sign up but got signed up automatically, Exited out when I realized what their site was doing and started getting spammed by junk messages. Their site is rigged up like it is bad malware. When I tried to unsubscribe it said I had to complete my registration process to do so.
I emailed an admin who was very polite and solved my problem for me (I am grateful for that), but any site that is so desperate for users it resorts to malware tactics is unprofessional and shouldn't be taken seriously. If they don't know what they are doing to that degree I would not trust them with any information.
It is not hard to make a friendly user experience, You have to put in an effort to make your website as bad as Quora is. All you need to do is be upfront and have any form of integrity / honesty.

Corrupt, racist, run by indian scammers, and alt-leftist neo nazi friendzoned soy boys who's only power to feel adequate in life is to call anyone who disagrees with their brain dead chickenhead opinions as racist "white supremacy" I've never been called a white supremacist so often as a Muslim, than as I have been by the racist alt-leftist terrorists.
Overal a nice site, but far too politcal correct. Moderation is very biased, also on the Dutch site. People's answers that accuse populist political parties of racism and other bad things are not removed but allowed while far less 'offences' get removed without given a solid reason.
Bad and biased moderation in cases of religion, oposite opinions on climate change, and rightwing politic subjects.
Opinions that are not mainstream are bullied.
I shouldn't have to use my real name to comment on the site. They disabled it. I like keeping my name private so.
Another thing, I should have to pick my interests in the way they have it set up just to move on during the sign up process. The people who comment make the site interesting but they're the ones who carry the site.
I joined Quora a few days ago and asked a few questions. The first two questions were met with interesting responses, some of which I agreed with and some which were the typical response of people who didn't really understand the question. Fair enough. The third question I asked was met with derision from some pompous a-hole who obviously thought he was a genius and above all other experts in his field, despite a vast amount of evidence all over the internet. Instead of trying to understand my question, he decided to $#*! on it for the way in which my question was asked (pardon my French). I responded that I thought it would have been better that he try to understand my question instead of being so obnoxious. Wham! Quora moderation blames me for challenging his blatant dismissal of my question.
Yeah, he has 58k followers... bla di bla. Does that allow him to be a jerk? I think not.
Bye bye Quora and your Quorans!
Well unfortunately I'm writing this review because I have witnessed the extreme bias of Quora in certain settings. Im a firefighter and I was told by another member that I'm a worthless lazy overpaid (I'm a volunteer so not paid at all) "disposable hero". Looked into that persons profile it is full of hate speech vs any law enforcement with subtle violent actions toward police officers etc…. Well long story short Quora moderation deleted my response to this individual basically saying I hope no first responders lose their life saving you since you obviously think they are worthless, lazy, overpaid, and disposable humans. But left the comment that I was responding to untouched which basically called all first responders "disposable" and in the context of their account there is a ton of profanity and hate speech against police, etc… that it has a violent connotation even insinuated an undertone of killing government officials completely uncensored. It just sucks to see a site with so many productive conversations giving a platform for such incredibly biased hate speech that encourages violence….
Answer: Yes, the questions about penis size and virginity seems to sponsor endless discussion!
Answer: Because Google put Quora answers at the top of their search results when people search for a question they see the answer from Quora. Which is stupid because most answers on Quora aren't even correct lol. Idk why Google wants to promote that site, if they own it or they want to buy it and incorporate it into Google at some point. I think the site is awful and it should be shut down because it's just a propaganda site. You do not see Quora from any other search engine for example duckduckgo. But you see it in Google.
Answer: No, it is obviously leftist but it does on occasion allow questions or replies for short periods of time that are obviously uncomfortable to the "politicaly correct" crowd in a useless attempt to appear unbiased.
Answer: I honestly feel and highly suspect from certain traits that Quora pays Google to be high on the rank and they get *buddy buddy* with the government. Quora is essentially too big to fail. We no longer have capitalism but now live under governmentism which Trump pledges to end but can he? Does he really mean what he says? That is the million $ question.
Quora has a rating of 1.5 stars from 612 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Quora most frequently mention social media, hate speech and left wing. Quora ranks 79th among Question And Answer sites.
