Quora

Went to the website to read an article about something I was interested in. The second the page was loaded, I was stopped by a screen telling me I needed to make an account to continue. I had to suffer through the five minute account creation process in which I selected subjects and topics that I was interested in then waited for it to "create my personalized feed".
I shouldn't have to make an account on a website I will potentially never use again to simply read one article.

I've have comments or posts deleted for having 'hate speech". One for asking how othera got home from surgery with out friends or family (since i discovered proper medical transport services exist for these people) and once for saying houses ard still affordable before the age of 30 but it won't be anything close to your dream house.

Also i get spammed with about 30 emails a day on topics i don't care about even though i send them to spam and tried to unsubscribe about 5 times.

Noticed they have started trying to charge to see certain answers to questions too, even when the original author discovers it and says they wrote it for free.

I don't think it's a bad site but there's nothing much good about it.

Full of supercilious twits! Bigots, propagandists, ideologues, delusionists, polemicists, hot-air balloons, fake personas, fake credentials, plagiarists, miserable Cun*ts, toffs and wank*ers, losers and slimy opportunists clutching a bunch of fake up votes. I agree with every comment here stating how biased this site is.

So be warned-Quora's goal isn't participation, but your submission to their insanity. Just another dumb advertising site of Dunning-Krugers moderated by Macaques.

Don't waste your time. I was researching middle eastern politics for an assignment and stumbled on Quora. First, Quora forces to register your email address and verify it before you can view anything (which I believe is a scam to increase their user base for any future investors). Once registered, I browsed the 'Middle East', 'Palestine' and 'Israel' sections and wish I hadn't. Quora consists of a small user base who all happen to share and propagate pro-Israeli views. It's like a monologue created by Netanyahu's PR office. For that reason, being so one-sided, it was useless for any research. I couldn't delete my account fast enough.

The QUORA website is mostly just for entertaining myself, and to see if it's posible to not be surprised by the latest, greatest, anti-Trump rhetoric. And my basic response is... "been there, done that." The vast majority of opinions there are of course extremely liberal. I've spent countless hours there because I have time on my hands due to a disability. I've even received lots of positive responses from people who share my point of viiew. But as soon as you point out the hopocricy of any Leftist rhetoric, you immediately get branded a TROLL. And now I've been been blocked there from both responding to and asking questions. Not hard to understand, since that company is based in California, as far as I know.

Sanskriti university is best amongst all universities in Uttar pradesh and it offers various courses in various fields. The infrastructure of this university is very fascinating and Unique. The laboratories are well equipped with the equipments and library is full of books written by world famous writers. This university also provides placements for students in top companies. The highest package offered was 7 lacs, average package offered was 5 lacs and lowest package offered was 3 lacs.

This site is a joke. They use their BNBR policy to censor statements the moderators don't like; however, the policy CLEARLY does not apply to everyone. I had a perfectly innocuous comment deleted for no good reason. The admins are unprofessional and have way too much power. Any website that unapologetically steps on the constitution is un-American and I have no use for it. My account is deleted and I will spend the rest of my days getting this site shut down.

The site was great a few years ago, lots of interesting users who wrote posts that were educational. Yet, it seems to now be an Entertainment Tonight sub-site, taken over by groups of teens all intent on becoming most popular on the site, who have chased most decent other posters away. They show up and have thousands of instant followers in a week and simply have their groups upvote and downvote who posts in the topics they want to post in. Endless questions about who is popular and who are these popular teens. Even adults are falling to this level, posting selfies about socks and other nonsense. Topics.

Hey--bet they make money though. The dumbing down of America continues.

I had a specific question about practices in my own faith and they had very extensive historical statements corresponding with the path I have been following for the last 30 + years. I typed Quora review because I wanted to find out more about them. People who GIVE their God Given Talents for the upliftment of Humanity at large I think should be commended for the tremendous services they provide internet users. Some have gone the extra mile to make exploring the internet the educational, spiritual, beneficial place I believe it is meant to be used for.

I was banned for asking support a question. I wanted to know if it was possible to change my name, because I've picked up a stalker. I'm a "Top Writer" and I didn't know if changing my name would affect that, or if it was even possible. Instead of answering my question they sent a cut and paste threat telling me that because I wasn't using my real name I would need to verify my identity before proceeding. Then they locked me out of my account. Note: I didn't change my name. Note: I'm actually using my real name. Note: all I did was ask a question. None of that matters, and now they won't respond at all.

I used to think Quora was amazing. But the real test of any organization is how they deal with a problem. Avoid this place like the plague.

A quora member called our President stupid and an idiot and that he wasn't doing anything for Covid at all. I told her he has an entire task force and is asking all countries to provide a vaccine. My response was found to be a violation while hers was dandy! In another area a Canadian slammed our a President again and all responders did as well! But none of there responses were of course bad. I'll never use Quora again! What a bunch of libtarded $#*!s!

This service was a great disocvery for me. So many opinions and info on the topic you are researching! A great help for students and for copywriters who are not sure about their content. I found a lot of themes for inspiration here. I don't know why so many users are disappointed, may be I'm just not interested in politics and I don't dig into these matters. I didn't face any problems with the mdoerators (although i asked just 1 question but it was okay and people answered me without any issues).
